Friday DJs spinning Zapp & Roger and funky dance vibes one minute, then System of a Down or The Smiths on another night. Emotional range. But the one constant is The drinks are always strong. Not craft cocktail precious. Strong. The bartenders are heavy-handed and the prices are shockingly reasonable, which means two or three drinks here will absolutely set the tone for your evening. You've been warned. It's an easy yes whether you're popping in for one drink or accidentally staying all night.

The place is huge, well-lit, has an e-jukebox, 3 pool tables, dart board(s), board games, and many TVs. It's a dive bar, but I say that in a good way. It wasn't too busy on either of our visits, but I understand that during football season, they host the San Francisco 49ers faithful, and the place can get packed on Sundays. There's a good selection of beers on-tap and in bottle, and of course you can get shots and simple cocktails, but they didn't have the ingredients to make an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. No food is served, but they do sell bags of Twisted Pig pretzels ($4), which are available in spicy, medium, and original flavors. They're some of the best bagged pretzels we've ever had. Overall, it's a fun neighborhood bar with friendly service, lots of space to gather, hang out, and things to keep you busy. We'll be back.

I used to say I never wanted to go back there ever again, after one experience I had with standing up at the bar for over a half-hour. My cousin took me back, and ever since my second time, I've been going there almost every week since. I would recommend getting there early, as the crowd starts pouring in around 10 or 11. If you get there after 12, your chance at getting in are slim to none. The bar tenders know how to pour a stiff drink, and the prices are great. This used to be my favorite spot. It was a nice, chill divebar with a cool jukebox. And although the bartenders are still awesome this place is starting to get a little ghetto and it seems like they have a dj every night now. The djs Ive heard here are pretty good but I used to come here to have a drink with friends, talk and listen to cool tunes on the jukebox. I grew up right next to this bar, and now it's my go-to local spot when I am hosting friends. The drinks are great, everyone is very friendly, and I don't break the bank there after drinking for more than a few hours. They host a comedy night that is always fun. What can I say, it's a dive bar. But not like the average dive bar, this one lays a bit higher than the regulars. The mix drinks are perfectly prepared. However, when this guy invited me inside on Wed. 9-6-23,, it was a different story. It was very welcoming & friendly. The cold beers (Corona, Dos Equis, Modelo) in bottles were delicious, especially on a hot day, & at a discounted price during happy hour. The bartender (the owner's wife) kindly made me some free popcorn. There was a jukebox playing Mexican music & it was entertaining to see someone singing along to some songs. I enjoyed my time there & was thankful that my friend had invited me. I really like him & liked it even more watching him play pool & hit the ball really hard at times. And I learned some more Spanish too. So my mind changed from 1 to 5 stars. Thanks for your generosity & thanks for treating him well!

There was a lot of questioned asked beforehand. Any guns, knives, weapons, alcohol and so on. Ok, he was very precise. Plus from the reviews, security was a big factor. Our experience, it was fine. The questions and then we were let in. Before that, it's a 10.00 cash entrance fee. Inside, I was surprised how big the place was. A massive bar area on one side, a big patio for smoking and a large dance floor as well as a stage above it. We had a little section that was reserved which I believe maybe the only section that offers that. There were loads of bartender as well as waitress walking around taking orders. When we arrived, it was pretty busy to begin with and they offered free line dancing lesson. That's around 7-9pm I believe. Within half an hour after arriving around 7, the place was packed. And I mean packed. This place was lively and well known I guess. Dance floor was packed which it's suppose to be. Waitress walking around did help with the ordering process. As for my first time, it wasn't bad. The crowd was good and it was easy to get a drink.

When I calmly explained the issues, the owner became angry that I didn't want the steak redone and walked away mid-conversation. He eventually came back, removed the $62 steak, and told us he didn't want us back in his restaurant. To top it off, for an establishment charging fine-dining prices where guests dress up, the owner was wearing shorts and sneakers. One chance is all a restaurant gets to make a good impression.
