    Miami Bowl
    Aar B.

Quite delicious açaí bowls. Had Berry Loco one day, next day went back and had Miami Bowl. Cute little shop with a little bit of seating

Money Moves Bowl with oatmeal, Bad and Boujee Bowl with açaí
    Alexandra C.

Cute place right in town! This place has bowls, juice, and coffee! I ordered the Bad and Boujee bowl with açaí and it was outstanding! My husband ordered the Money Moves bowl with oatmeal. He said it was pretty filling and good. His only complaint was that the oatmeal tasted like sugar was added to it. so he said it was a little sweeter than he wanted. Otherwise, he enjoyed it. There is no indoor seating at this time (probably because of COVID), but it's worth going to for breakfast or a mid-day snack! Prices are fair and service is quick. I would come here again and again!

    Dolce and Banana Acai Bowl
    Lauren K.

The only healthy and delicious establishment in Collegetown! I got the Dolce & Banana acai bowl which was amazing and came with so much fruit. I've tried their other menu items like their lattes, fresh juices, and smoothies and they all are amazing. They even have other bases for their bowls such as yoghurt and oatmeal (sweetened and unsweetened). I definitely recommend it as a convenient and affordable option if you're on the go!

    Par-Yay Bowl

I feel like açaí bowls are a rare commodity in upstate NY, so I always enjoy going to places that serve them. I got the Par-Yay bowl and it was very good. The ingredients were super fresh. Unfortunately, you don't get much bang for your buck here and be prepared to wait awhile. I appreciate that the granola was nut-free as I have food allergies and not many places consider that aspect.

    Breakfast at Tiffanys Bowl
    Megan C.

I ordered the Breakfast at Tiffany's bowl from Chatty Cathy's today. It took maybe 5 minutes to get my food, and I was the only customer so I was able to order as soon as I arrived! This bowl was very delicious. My only feedback would be to add more granola. Although it was a bit pricey for a parfait, the portion was good and kept me full for awhile. I can see myself coming back in the near future!

    Detoxified

I'm in town for a wedding and I don't want anything heavy. It's humid out and we're heading to the grand event in the late afternoon, so I look for healthy options. I settled for Chatty Cathy. Walking in, it's super cute but tiny! There's a handful of seats, so why the vibe makes you want to stay, the lack of seats makes it more of a grab and go. I walk up to the counter. The person working says nothing and stands there waiting for me. A bit strange. I order a detoxified. The carrot and ginger ingredients win me over. I stood and wait. He kindly calls my order and thanks me (strange from earlier no comment encounter). I take a sip. Perfect! Creamy and rich, love the hint of ginger. It hydrates me for the day and keeps me full until dinner.

Wow, the açaí bowls here truly taste like the fancy ones I get from Manhattan. It's such a treat whenever I make the trip up to Ithaca for one of these bowls. My two girlfriends and I spent the morning hiking and then treated ourselves to bowls afterwards. I got the Miami bowl and my two friends got the money moved bowl. Each of our bowls was made with the açaí base; however, they do also offer oatmeal and greek yogurt as a base option! The açaí is not the sugary and diluted kind like at sobol or other açaí joints...this was truly the real deal!!! Also, they do NOT skimp on the toppings!

One of the most disappointing customer service. The girl were so rude. She was rolling her eyes all the time we try to ask her for cut or water. No water is provided with espresso. No tables , No ceramic cups for coffee even they were behind here Back. She just were not into a mood to do her job. We felt not belong to the space.

The drinks were good but the prices are high. This might be a place that I'd only go to once in a while if I want to splurge on a smoothie.

A glass of Pét-Nat from Osmote made for a great start; I'm a huge fan of this winery. Service was decent, and the food came out impressively fast. The patio was lovely, if a touch noisy thanks to the busy street nearby. We shared the broccoli to start, and it didn't disappoint. Naturally, the Thai Green Curry was a must-try -- and a good call it was. Only downside: the portions ran on the small side.

This time (Jul 2026) was like our visit a couple of years ago. The menu was rather short, and we didnt see many middle-of-the-road or ordinary comfort-food offerings. Their local sourdough bread appetizer was fresh and nicely flavored, and we chose the fresh olive oil side just because it's so luscious. We could have had chive-butter. The marinated olives were flavorful and a little spicy. Their NY-cheese board had a tasty selection of soft and hard cheeses. The salads had choices of a chutney-paneer based mix, which was refreshingly creative. And we liked the Farmstand berry-cherry goat-cheese almond salad. These were all appealing. Chickpea salad or stew, tofu or salmon over steamed veggies, or smoked-trout open-face tartine sandwich, each sounded good, but we didnt bite. None of the mains called to us. I guess we just felt that none of those menu items screamed out we-gotta-come-to-this-restaurant. The food tasted like just homemade and fresh, but not exceptional. The food was ok, no complaints, but not a big thrill.

Collegetown bagels is the most popular bagel spot in Ithaca, but I don't find nostalgia in the bagels, primarily due to the tougher texture. However, I do really enjoy their spicy Italian bagel and rosemary salt bagel (although a bit too salty to my liking), and especially their cream cheeses. My favorite has to be their parsley-garlic cream cheese which is loaded with garlic and the freshness of parsley. Other honorable mentions include veggie and bacon-scallion cream cheese. I've had a few of their sandwiches as well. Their Havana Breeze doesn't include much ham or pickles, and the bread was quite greasy on inside and outside which made the sandwich overall very heavy. Their Tour de France has roasted turkey, Brie, apples, honeycup mustard, bacon on multigrain bread (I substituted for focaccia. The bread was soft, but I would've liked it more if it had more seasoning (like some Italian/herb seasoning). The sandwich is cold, but I think having it warmed up/toasted would meld the flavors together better. There was a generous amount of bacon and Brie, but the overall sandwich just didn't seem homogenous. Perhaps a sauce or jam (like a bacon-apple jam) would've helped to bind the flavors more. Lastly, their earl grey hot cocoa consisted of an earl grey tea bag in watered down hot coca which was a bit disappointing. Overall, not the best bagels I've ever had, but their cream cheeses are delightful. I'll still go back to try their baked goods and other sandwiches.
