DO NOT GO HERE This place should have negative stars or be closed down. PAINFUL and my nails are SO RUINED!!!! It started when I went in for a mani-pedi. The manicure destroyed my nails and will likely take months to fix. The tech was sweet but repeatedly ignored what I said, which caused problems early on. The manager later even acknowledged my nails were barely prepped, still had old product, were bumpy, and had flooded cuticles, before he then filed them down to the point I was crying in pain while being yelled at. I honestly feel like he ruined my nails ON PURPOSE. After the poor prep, we got to polish, where it was immediately obvious my nails were extremely uneven, visibly lumpy, with cuticle flooding. Every coat looked worse. I politely told both the tech and manager (he was there listening) so it could be fixed. He translated and said it just needed more coats and would level out. It didn't. Not at all. He continued overseeing it, and by the end the same issues were still very clear. Like I am not exaggerating or being a perfectionist rn. After I kept pointing it out, he finally agreed the manicure was awful and needed to be redone. At that point, I politely declined because I had already been there a long time, had plans, and didn't want to sit through another two-hour redo. I very kindly explained this and said I'd rather come back another time. I was disappointed on the inside but genuinely wasn't upset at that point. This is where they became disrespectful. The tech looked super irritated and walked off. The manager immediately insisted I pay full price before leaving. I said I wasn't comfortable paying full price for a manicure he agreed needed to be redone, but I would pay for the pedicure, her time, and materials. He basically responded with a harsh "I don't care," and I was confused by the attitude since I had been patient the whole time. After going back and forth, I genuinely didn't know what to do. I should have walked out, but I didn't want to leave without paying for my pedicure. I called my mom because I was starting to panic as he became more rude at me. I took photos to show her and make sure I wasn't being unreasonable (check my Google Reviews for pics!). That made him even angrier. He raised his voice and said, "You can take pictures, but it won't do anything." I explained I wasn't threatening him, just showing my mom because I didn't know what to do. (I genuinely wasn't taking them with intent to leave a review, but now I'm glad I did!). Eventually, while I was still on the phone with my mom, he said I could pay $10 for the manicure. I agreed immediately and thanked him. I thought it was resolved. I thanked him, reassured that I respected him and the business (for the millionth time), and thought we were buddies again! :( Then everything escalated again. He became passive aggressive and completely ruined my nails to the point of pain and CRYING TEARS. He offered to remove the polish, and since he suggested it I agreed because I thought it would be quick. Instead he began aggressively filing my nails over and over in the same spots to the bone. I have red patches all over my nails that I just can't even touch because of how thin and painful. The polish also wouldn't come off properly, and instead of fixing it, he blamed me as if I had done my own nails. He filed so hard I was crying from the burn, while he yelled, "What do you want me to do?!" I told him calmly he was hurting me and asked him to stop raising his voice since I'd been respectful and patient this whole time (also hello soak them??? UR the nail tech why r u asking me??). He kept talking down to me like it was my fault, and I was just asking him to please listen and stop hurting me. I asked "sir why won't you listen to me I just want you to understand this HURTS." I ended up just having to get up and tell him to just charge me, since he was going to keep flipping accountability on to me and literally hurting me. And when I tell you pain I mean it, I also use my hands a lot at work too and it's definitely been inconvenient. It's been 1 1/2 weeks and my nails have still been getting worse since then. Now that they're so thin, I can't open cans or boxes, can barely itch scratches on my body without it hurting my nails or not feeling like anything. Even today , like 10% of one of my nails cracked about a centimeter or two UP MY NAIL BED and I have to go to work today and it HURTS. BAD. Do not go here unless you are willing to gamble your nails and the pain of the damage. This all happened May 20, 2026 between 3:15-6:00 PM. Being a new mom I needed some "me time". Location: Salon is very clean I absolutely recommend this place. Unfortunately I had a bad experience when visiting Chau Bella Nails last week. I had been for a service before with no issues however this time I was left with a bad gel manicure and lots of bleeding. When removing my gel polish to apply the new one my tech burned most of my fingers near the cuticle. I failed to tell the tech as he was doing my nails and talked to the owner at the end of my service. Both were very apologetic and the owner applied a solution to my wounds and said that I had one week warranty on the gel service if anything happened, however no discount was offered for my bad service. The next day I texted my pictures and requested a partial refund and did not hear back. My total was $54.59 It is a great salon, always clean and comfortable sadly this will be my last time getting my nails done at Chau Bella. read more

First of all, the ac does not work, it is very hot in there, secondly, they take FOREVER to help the client even when there was a scheduled appointment, and third, and most important my girlfriend disliked it. I was skeptical because my rule is at least a 4.5 but I needed to kill time until my flight. Next door is a super cute boba spot so stopped there then went into the salon. It's really cute and girly. Bianca was my technician and she is amazing. Very thorough and detail oriented. I wanted emerald green but she had these bomb muted pink sparkly nails. I literally got her exact color. The worst SNS nails I've ever had done. I've been having my nails done for years. I've never had my SNS crack before I even leave the salon. I took these pictures the moment I went into my car. I picked out a PALE PASTEL PINK. I specifically pointed to the color I wanted. Each nail has uneven application of the SNS. It pulls my fingers up and back. There is so much material under and around my nails that it hurts. I've been growing out my nails for months, and it took her less than 20 minutes to completely ruin my nails. My nails lost their even shapes and each nail is now different. I should have left when she said it would only take 20 minutes. I literally cannot express how disgusted I am to have paid this salon $45 to ruin months of care and efforts in 20 minutes. I can't trust this salon to fix this mess. EXCELLENT service and the best pedicure I've ever had. I brought my Mom to this salon for a special day for her. She is moving back to Nebraska (where we are from) after 18 years in AZ for health reasons. I live in Nebraska and get my toes done regularly. This is by far the best pedi I've ever had. My nails are on point- they are perfect. My mom has health issues and hasn't had her feet done since before Covid. Her nail tech was SO calm and patient with my mom, who has trouble with her motor skills. She was so kind and loving and just amazing. She went the extra mile for my mom who really needed a lot of work on her feet! When we left, she said "they were so kind to me and I really appreciated that". Since she's been struggling health wise, people have been treating her differently, but this salon made a huge difference. What a way to send my mom off! Go see them! I had terrible service and experience with this salon and the owner, I simply came in for a full set showed the salon what service I would like and nails from Pinterest. They had to redo my nails a few times and switched nail tech. When I went to pay the price went up 15$ and when I told the girl I did not like my nails she laughed. I went to Chau Bella Nails and a man there did my nails. They were awful. He didn't listen to a word I told him so I was extremely upset. chau, She said she would fix my nails the next day but I had to pay for my god-awful nails right then. so I went back in. chaU was Very nice and easy to talk to- however- my cuticle on my right pinky It was cut by a file or something. My cuticle developed a blister on the affected area, and when If burst. . I had an infection to deal with. My hand was so sore and my pinky swollen. Had to go to DR and get not one but two antibiotics to clear it up. Well, it's not cleared up yet, but almost. This has been very very painful. I went to cosmetology school and know about the possible skin infections you can get from getting your nail's done. Never ever has it happended before and now this. I decided not to take action legally as I seriously don't have the time. They are lucky there- I am extremely disappointed as they are so close....but that, nor this, is going to happen again to me by going there. I would excercise caution going here. Obviously some file she used was either not new or not steralized. Either way Its totally unacceptable.. I hate leaving bad reviews. But this I could not ignore. No One else should go thru the painful infection I got just from getting my nails done. Be careful. read more

Never in my 27 years of living have I found a great amazing nail tech. Chau is the only one I'll be allowing to do my nails from here on out. I have a wide nail bed, she's able to slim my nails to make them look skinnier. I also am very rough and have yet to break any of Chau's nails. read more

Needed some place close to get a much needed pedicure on a Wednesday afternoon. The shop itself is very cute but the friendliness and professionalism of the staff is definitely lacking. I originally planned to get gel mani and pedi but my plans quickly changed. $15 extra for gel is just ridiculous when gel is the standard now. Then because I switched from gel to regular suddenly it was a $7 charge to remove the gel polish I already had on. The technician did not seem experienced and was very awkward, nails were filed unevenly. Then a different technician approached to do my manicure but I had already decided to pass on that. At that point the manager girl came over to do my polish. Requested a French manicure and she could not get the line straight on my toes so eventually I just gave up and let her finish so I could get out.
