I'm super frustrated because I wasn't told about the delay, so my dog was just waiting in a cage with no water or potty break. A simple heads-up call or text would have been appreciated so I could have rescheduled. No apologies or solutions were offered, which felt really unprofessional. I like to show her reference photos I find online of similar looking dogs and explain to her that I want my dog's fur "not too short but not too long" with teddy bear face. He comes out perfect every time and his legs are the perfect length every time. Before I leave, she always makes sure I'm happy with how he looks and adjust/trims if I am being nitpicky (me problem). I don't particularly like the fresh cut look because it looks too "clean" but he looks absolutely perfect in like 2 weeks when his shag comes back! I can tell how much she loves her job by the way she speaks to him. I've gone to many many many groomers in my 20 years of dog ownership and I am loyal to Bluemoon! She is really flexible with appointments and I usually call a week in advance to get an appointment and she always has availabilities based on my schedule. I drop him off, remind her what I want, and pick him up when she calls/texts me in about 3 hours! It's in a shared lot with other businesses like a laundromat and more but I've never had issues finding parking.

Today was our 3rd time coming here and will unfortunately also be our last. The first two groomings…read morewent well, and we didn't have any complaints- but today that was definitely not the case. We dropped her off and asked for an area trim for her paws and sanitary areas, as we usually do. We picked her up an hour 1/2 later and she had dark red painful looking markings/ burns on her lower stomach. She had also been crying and seemed very stressed. The lady at the front desk explained that the clippers got too close to her skin and caused a reaction. They applied aloe gel and offered a discount, but I am still unhappy with the state of my dog as this has never happened to her before. Although mistakes happen, we will not be returning.
