Clean ortho clinic, and for the most part the staff was amazing, Carmen assisted me in my visit from the time I scheduled my appointment until the time I left the appointment. Only downside is that I was blind sided by the $159 fee for consultation with having had prior treatment(not from them but from another orthodontist). I have posted a great review from my Husband Justin Jordan on this place before but now it is a bad one! So He has had braces for about 10months from this place and also dental work and cleanings from here as well! One call just left a very sour taste in my mouth. In short: Ortho clerk called me in March directly stating I am responsible for about $900 added to my bill because Insurance declined since 1/1/23, I asked why call me now 3 months later and continue to see me monthly and not tell me the last 3 months you saw me? Why they lost me after I am done with braces: She directly did not take accountability and said "In the contract you signed and initialed you are responsible for any off insurance fees"!!! That completely was rude but I remained polite! I again asked why call me 3 months later vs 1 week ago when I saw you or Jan or Feb? Again she put fault on me and my responsibility. I get it, If I was at fault!! Still no answer why not tell me in Jan or Feb when I saw them!!! She now blamed the billing department! My reply which changed her tune: Aren't your Ortho and your Dental office the same system? She said yes! Me: Well you all need to communicate better because I sent my new Insurance a month ago early Feb! (Insurances change often due to work and they should know this) not even a "Justin, did your insurance change?) She now checked the SYSTEM AND THEN CHANGED HER TUNE when she saw there is a new insurance in the system!! Still no answer as to why tell me 3 months later, why not check before calling! Very rude in my eyes to tell me "I signed a contract" which I am ok to pay if I was at fault! Instead of apologizing and taking accountability that they dont check their systems and instead call a costumer with a negative direct approach!!! After this is done, they lost a customer who loved them! No excuse! So rude! read more

Started getting braces 8 month ago, and I've never had a problem. I've been helped my multiple different staff members and all are super nice and take the time to converse with you when you have questions. I was surprised when one of them, Karen, recognized me even after a month or two and asked how I was. Wait times are short if you have an appointment and you quickly jump in and out to get braces done. Always clean and neat; the place looks really nice. Would definitely recommend. read more

Union members beware! The PAIN and MISERY they put my daughter threw should be illegal. Many businesses has reduced hours I get it; but she has braces and the wires loosened and were cutting through her gums they never even answered the phone. Had to take her to the emergency room at hospital with blood and metal sticking in her gums to get them cut, BUT WAS STILL GETTING CHARGED EVERY MONTH!!! Explained what happened they said they didn't get the messages IT WAS SOMEONE ELSES FAULT Let them continue treatment they moved two appointments NOW HER VISITS AGAIN FAR APART, KEPT CHARGING! Then I hit financial hardship THEY KEPT CHARGING MY INSURANCE, but since I didn't have my 138$ they refused to see her WHILE STILL CHARGING THE INSURANCE. This is the most disgusting service I have ever witnessed. She was the last of my five daughters and every one of them had braces. And good and bad never had to deal with anything like this. Please save yourself the grief AND YOUR CHILD THE PAIN and go somewhere else! Also when you look at the positive reviews they offer on the counter spiffs for leaving good reviews. Second part financially my insurance is going after fraud charges I had to do the recorded in person thing with them yesterday they said I couldn't post a review till that was done. Charged 2400, seen her 4 times and this was a continued service! And don't worry someone else had to take over and they still want 2600 more for the braces . That makes their grand total from originally when I had my non union insurance 1800, new insurance 2400 and me 2400 7k and refused to see her!! **** update**** Funny they responded in like twenty minutes as you can see. First I'd like to start with the good. Dr. Katsnelson and the assistants were nice and professional on my 2 visits. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and the actually surgery and recovery was excellent thanks to the great job the Dr Katsnelson did. Where this office really falls short is with their customer service. I came to this office because my current dentist recommended this office for the surgery. Almost from the start i started to have a bad experience with the customer service staff. First, it took 4 months to get the surgery scheduled as they failed twice to get a pre determination from my insurance when they said they would do it. I actually had to get it on my own and email it to them. I called a couple times to ask about the status and customer service rep was almost yelling at me telling me that it's my insurance fault. Now fast forward 2 months after the surgery and I get an invoice with an overdue fee in it. They never sent an invoice or called me to tell me about the balance I had until it was overdue. I called the office but it's closed due to the pandemic. Understandable, so I left a voice mail to please contact me. They eventually did through email, and told me there's no overdue fee, I then sent a copy of the invoice I received and asked if the fee was going to be dropped but never heard from them again. This is by far some of the worse customer service I've seen. Very careless staff working here. read more

I was referred to Dr. Chawla by my old boss. I was 22 and had a serious overbite so I went and got a free consultation. I had gone to another very well known doctor in Berwyn who said to do Invisalign so since I had an overbite I knew that wouldn't work so I knew that doctor didn't really care for what he was doing and left me scared to try someone else. I finally decided I needed to get braces or I would stay hating my smile forever. At the consultation with Dr. Chawla I got a very good vibe from the consultation and from just looking at my teeth he immediately said I needed regular braces and pointed out the teeth I would need removed. I asked about payments since I had no insurance and they do monthly payments so it's very affordable!!!! I am now 24 and my braces will be off soon and my teeth look amazing! Dr. Chawla and his son really know what they are doing. Their office is brand new and I never wait during my appointments. If you want braces they are definitely the best, they're office is full of specialists. This place is amazingly designed, neat and clean, but the doctors are so rude. I over heard the doctor talking to two of his staff members when I took my step daughter in there recently a few days ago. He was so rude. I have my own business and I have never spoken to my employees like that. He was also pretty rude and short with me when I asked how my step daughter's treatment was going. I've been taking my step daughter there for 9 months now and always see new faces. This is not a good sign. I've spoken to my fiance about switching to another office, but the Dr. Is actually good at what he does and my step daughter's teeth are looking great. If it wasn't for the Dr. being so rude I'd give them 5 stars. I guess they also have an office downstairs and my fiance decided to try it out. She was very upset when she came home. She said she waited 45 minutes from her appointment time and saw another lady come in after her and was taken in right away. When my wife asked why the other lady was taken before her the front desk lady told her that the other lady had an appointment before her but my fiance had already been waiting 20 minutes, when she brought that up to the front desk lady she apologized but was not able to give my fiance a truthful response nor reason. When my fiance was finally taken in the Dr. only spent 20 minutes on her and wasn't very friendly. read more
