I loved the coconut tart the most. Every single tart here is very affordable here, ranging from…read more$0.95 to $2. The cheapest and simplest one is the Portuguese egg tart and the more fancy ones are either $1.75 or $2. I tried all of them: Portuguese egg tart, cheese tart, caramel croissant tart, tiramisu tart, berry tart, and coconut tart (my favorite). We also got the salted egg yolk croissant for only $1 which is a steal although I wish it was a tad bit sweeter to balance out the salt. It was a smooth process to go in and buy. They also have a variety of specialty desserts that are in the $8 price range if you want something more extravagant. I tried the King Panda which was filled with cream cheese mousse. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, but more of the latter. We went on a Saturday and it was pretty packed but we managed to snag a seat.

Out the of the 4 items, tiramisu stood out the most. It has a strong cacao flavor, not overly sweet and heavy. The caramel egg tart is just alright, it is flaky if you eat it warm or toast it again at home. The regular egg tart is 99 cents, it's not bad but definitely not amazing. I think you can't expect too much with that price. The osmanthus pear cheesecake was my least favorite. It is very sweet and heavy, the filling/syrup that they use is too overwhelming. The store was simple and you can smell the baked goods as you walked in to the store. The service was just average, the staff were not very welcoming. Parking could be a problem. Overall, I would give this place a 3.5/5, not a must go place. Their items are just average. If you are looking for something affordability over quality and taste then this is the place to go.

This particular location though, could use some work with consistency. The selection and quality of pastries and drinks seem to vary throughout my many visits. My top pastries are all of their croissant-like pastries, especially the Pastry Frank (filled with a savory sausage inside) and Mini Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissant (filled with a smooth and tangy lemon cream and fresh strawberries that add a tartness). Both of these have flaky, buttery exterior shells that are wonderful to bite into. For cakes, I love the strawberry soft cream cake. This cake is simple, light, and not too sweet. The thin layers of vanilla, soft cream, and strawberries blend excellently together. I appreciate that they provide free candles with whole cakes. An underrated cake is the green tea roll cake, which is delicious, but not ideal for celebrations.

It just feels fresh and inviting in a way that makes you want to stay and enjoy it for a bit. The desserts are almost too pretty to pick from. Everything looks so good and a little indulgent. I tried to pace myself but still ended up with a twisted cinnamon donut, a slice of tiramisu cake, and a few extra treats to go. No regrets at all. Service was quick and everything came out exactly right, which made the whole visit feel easy and relaxed. I left very happy and already thinking about what I'm trying next time. I was definitely satisfied and I can't wait to return.

Sure enough, we were seated right away. My daughter and I love the Portobello fries for a starter. They are so delicious and crispy, and the dipping sauce pairs perfect. For our meal we decided to share a Cesar salad and a pizza. For dessert we actually wanted the CHOCOLATE FRAMBOISE but they were all out. They actually were out of quite a bit of their pastries. The whole pastry counter was completely empty. I asked the server why it was empty and he mentioned they sold out due to graduation season. I decided on the crème brûlée and my daughter ordered chocolate gelato. We enjoyed our dessert. As for the ambiance, if you're looking for a romantic quiet restaurant for dinner. Bottega Louie is not for you. It is a loud up beat restaurant. I personally enjoy it. They have a person making the pizza towards the back and this night a table of guests were cheering him on as he threw the pizza dough up in the air multiple times. So fun to watch! The chefs are also cooking your food with a clear glass around them so you can watch as they prepare the food. Definitely recommend!!

My friend and I finally decided on the pepperoni pizza, the Brussel sprouts, and the Belgian waffle. The pizza was so delicious; it was evidently fresh, made with fresh mozzarella and tomato. The crust was perfectly cooked and crunchy! We were very impressed with the Brussel sprouts. They came mixed with candied walnuts, which was definitely my favorite part about this whole meal. We ate the Belgian waffle last. I thought it would have been too dense or soggy by the end of our meal. It ended up being completely perfect. The only thing I wish was that we had more of that wonderful vanilla whipped cream and fresh seasonal berries. I brought my bff here as a graduation gift. We left with full stomachs and very happy. I loved the decor and elegance of the restaurant. We will return to try the pastries next!!
