Everything I've tried has been so good, but the salted Oreo is definitely my favorite. The cakes have the perfect level of sweetness without being overwhelming. Everyone in my family literally fights over who gets a piece whenever I bring one home. It gets pretty serious. The store itself is also super cute, and I love that you can customize your cakes, which makes it really nice for birthdays or special occasions. The owner is great as well. There was a slight hiccup with one of my orders, and she handled it perfectly. She was super accommodating and even offered to personally deliver the cake to my house, which I really appreciated. At this point, I don't even need a special event as an excuse to order from here. Sometimes I'll just buy a whole 8 inch cake for myself because I'm craving it. When I first saw this place, I thought it was just a specialty cake shop. I did not expect them to have an extensive menu of premium bubble tea drinks as well. It is amazing how much variety they offer at this small shop, including but not limited to cakes, breads, bubble tea, and other desserts. I like to stop by for a drink when I am nearby. First time coming here and I was massively impressed with the color of this place. It's such a massive cafe and it's just decorations everywhere. There's a big mirror by the door that's perfect to take pictures with your drinks. There's plenty of seating and this place gets busy pretty often, quite nice that there's a self ordering kiosk to speed up the waiting times. Since their menu is quite extensive, they provide a "top picks and a order recommendation" for first time visitors. Since they're known for cakes, it's best to see pictures and the cakes on display before buying them. They have plenty of unique designed cakes like labubu cakes which are quite popular. Every design is very cute and absolutely picture worthy. Each design is unique and the customization is endless. There is also mochi in the middle which adds a chewy texture too. Mango mille crepe was so light and delicious, mango & cream was perfectly sweet. In between it also had mango paste which had an interesting pumpkin puree element to it. I got their Puff Cream Osmathamus Oolong Milk Tea with Tea Jelly, 30% sweet, SOOO YUMMY, fragrant of the tea. Pre-ordered my custom cake design two days in advance! Included the reference photo and final product below! I am so happy and satisfied with how the cake turned out! It looked almost identical to the reference photo! CC has such an amazing attention to detail, as she kept my add-ons of icing roses and strawberries color-coordinated to match the rest of the color scheme. I also really appreciated that they accommodated my request and wrote part of the birthday message in Korean (which I had said we can omit if it isn't possible to include). The packaging and presentation was beautiful, coming in a clear box with a ribbon :) My grandma absolutely loved her cake! She kept saying how it was so pretty, took photos of it, and enjoyed a good portion! Usually, she can't have much cake and scrapes off the frosting as it's too sugary for her, but she was pleasantly surprised that the cake, fruits, and cream were not too sweet! The cake itself was soft and moist! So very thoughtful and kind of the bakery to provide us with a sparkler (you can choose between a heart or a star) and a cutlery set. We thought it would have just forks and napkins, but it came with the cutest mini serving plates and a decorative paper crown saying "Happy Birthday"! Service was wonderful! Text responses arrived in a timely manner, always within 3 hours. We actually arrived 30 minutes early, and the cake was already ready! CC also gave us pointers on how to use the sparkler and how to safely seat/store the cake for the drive! We also ordered 4 drinks on the side, which were ready within 10 minutes and all tasted high-quality! On a side note, disclaimer about using the listed website: I ordered through their website which took me to Chowbus, and this ended up causing a lot of confusion. The cafe almost double-charged me the $50 deposit fee as I had paid and tipped on Chowbus, but through text, the owner (or employee?) asked me to Zelle or Venmo and I'd be all set. Luckily, once I informed them I already paid and sent screenshots, everything was all sorted. Chowbus also allowed me to set my desired pick-up time which I chose 4:00PM, to which I received a text this morning around 11:00AM asking what time I wanted the cake by. Not sure if Chowbus didn't notify the cafe correctly, or if the cafe didn't verify my order number, or if I wasn't providing proper details (maybe I should have texted the order number and pick-up time directly, rather than rely on my screenshots), but it all worked out in the end. Also, when I went to pick-up the cake, they almost didn't charge me the rest of the fee! I kept asking didn't I owe them more money since I only paid the deposit, and she almost sent me home without paying the remainder; after a while of me saying I do owe her, she realized Chowbus only charged me for the $50 deposit. Again, these are not complaints to the cafe and only to the website/Chowbus. Forgot to purchase a cake for my husband. Didn't have time to go to regular spot happened to remember this cake spot on the way home. Little did I know they don't have full cakes readily available. You need to order at least one day ahead of time. Sigh.. Luckily they were generous and was able to whip up something later in the day. We ordered the Berry Buddy and it's adorable. I was 'this' close to leaving a 1-star review after the ordeal I went through here, but the way they handled the situation with such grace and care completely changed my mind. So instead, my review is now about the cake itself! Here's what happened: I ordered an 8-inch cake for my mom's 70th birthday, placed 4 days in advance for a 2 PM pickup. When I arrived, they had accidentally mixed up my order with someone else's and made a 6-inch cake instead. My original wouldn't be ready until much later, at a time I couldn't come back. The staff offered to deliver the finished 8-inch to me, but since I wouldn't be home, they quickly finished up the 6-inch for me to take instead. It was so freshly made that during the car ride, the cream hadn't fully set, and the cake ended up a little warped. I was frustrated and called them in anger, and they immediately offered me a remake or a full refund. That responsiveness and professionalism honestly floored me. Now, about the cake: I had ordered the Fruit Melody and it was absolutely fluffy, perfectly sweet, filled with cream, and plenty of fresh fruit. Even for a 6-inch cake, it was much taller than other cakes and perfect for our group of six. The lady was right, 6-inches was enough! I also loved that the cake came with a sparkler star candle, plus an entire birthday kit with plates, forks, a regular candle, a cake cutter, and even a birthday crown. Got a longevity peach designed custom cake with taro and strawberry fillings for my boyfriend's mom's birthday. All her guests praised it and asked where I got it from. It was definitely a hit! Much better and appreciated than the traditional longevity peach red bean bun. I cannot thank you enough for CC Cake, 1) they helped with picking out the filling (adding strawberries to taro was definitely the way to go) and recommended to adding a double layer to get the peach height, & 2) resolving my long distance drive so my fresh cream cake will be intact for the drive. The cake that I ordered was really pretty! CC Cake provides a huge selection of cakes to choose from and I think they can also customize any cake that you ask them to. However, the process to customize the cake is super difficult. I called in to order and the person that picked up told me to text a picture of the cake I would like to order and my information. However, after texting my info, nobody responded to me for 2 days. It was getting close to the day that I needed to pick up the cake so I called back, only to have them say that they missed my message. Luckily, they will still be able to accommodate my order. However, through the same text messaging process, they would take forever to respond. I was nervous the entire time, thinking I might not actually get my cake. Upon pick up, I went on time and they were still not done with the cake. I think I might have waited almost half an hour, but she did give me a free drink to make up for the time I waited. The store seemed really busy because they sell milk teas, cakes, and pastries. It was really cute inside though, so I didn't mind the wait too much. The cake was pretty, but it wasn't very good. It was almost all cream with very little of the cake or filling. I was left a bit disappointed. I might go back for another cake that doesn't need customization, but probably not for a custom cake.
