    Tater tots

Fun and pretty cafe & bakery with neat wallpaper, ample seating, and a nice lounge area in the corner. There's a huge display of their famous cupcakes and a lovely brunch menu. We came for Saturday brunch and about half the tables were being used. There were two staff working the counter and another in the back of house I ordered the Matcha Strawberry Latte over ice - delicious, though I really had to work the straw to get the strawberry jam at the bottom to mix with the oat milk and matcha tea. I find it strange that there was a $0.50 upcharge for ice (where are we, Europe?)...sure, $1.00 to upgrade to the Large size and $0.50 to substitute animal milk for oat milk - totally reasonably, but for ice? Review would have been 5 stars, but dropped one for the ice surcharge. The Classic Breakfast Burrito was tasty - 50% scrambled egg, 25% tater tots, 20% bacon, and 5% cheese. The salsa was pretty bland, so I spiced it up with Tapatio and the picked jalapeno. I'd order it again. The Mixed Berry Toast was excellent - honey, berries, coconut flakes, and whipped cream cheese on a scrumptious toast. Refreshing and sweet (but not too sweet). And the tots were tots...exactly what I expected, crunchy and yummy. Looking forward to coming again and trying other items on the menu.

The aesthetics of the place are cute. There are great looking cupcakes. The food may be good but what I ordered unfortunately was not. I saw salads at other tables so maybe that's what is best to order. I would not recommend the chimichurri steak sandwich. The roll it comes in was not good, not even toasted. The chimichurri salsa was very watery and more of a salsa verde. Maybe try the chilaquiles- the menu picture makes them look good. Stay away from the sandwiches tho.

The atmosphere and decor is cozy cottage slightly bohemian with a touch of Dodger chill . The food looks amazing the cupcakes are cute super soft sugar bombs and service was sweet and quick.

Cute spot to grab breakfast, only thing is you have to order first and find a seat after. The food is good and the service is friendly!

I love their mini cupcakes, you can't go wrong with any! My personal favorite is the cookies and cream.

Stopped by for some cupcakes! Great selection of mini and full sized cupcakes perfect for birthdays. There's also a menu of sandwiches and brunch items too. There's a small parking lot in the strip mall and can also park on the street.

We just got off the fwy and found this coffee shop and it was really cute go go dodgers . We tried their coffee and it was amazing. Would really come back to try their food and some of their pastries. It looks really good.

Dots Cafe is such a sweet little spot! Their cupcakes are absolutely yummy-soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. What I really loved is the huge variety they offer, so there's something for everyone whether you like classic flavors or something more fun and unique. It's the perfect place to stop by when you're craving a treat or need desserts for an event. Good parking too!

Dots Cafe is super cute and delicious! I got the waffle combo and it was not overly sweet, it was perfect. The chai I got was good too! The customer service was good as well and the inside is nice and cozy! They have such a great display of cupcakes that I hope to come back to try again.

    Gourmet cupcakes galore!

I am so sad to say I had completely forgotten about this place!! Here I am a decade later and stumbled upon it again last week and thought to myself "wow have I been missing out!". Not too far from the freeway and the most delectable and adorable cupcakes and food! I ordered a breakfast sandwich deal that came with a delicious latte . What a steal I think it was $11. The most tasty brioche bread with egg, cheese, and bacon. Amazing. Picked up some delicious baby cupcakes for the fam and everyone raved about them. Particularly the blueberry cheesecake and salted caramel. Yummm. I was intrigued and inspired by the meal prep options they offer including the family meal deals that come with fresh baked desserts! I plan on ordering one soon to give it a try. Perfect for a busy week night to feed the fam a nutritious hearty meal. Dots will now officially become my weekly stop!

Dots is such an amazing cafe and bakery! They have the most delicious cupcakes - moist and not too sweet. They have mini ones perfect for kids and for adults who want a sweet treat without the guilt. Inside, the decor is beautiful. The wallpaper is gorgeous and they constantly have different balloon arches for the various holidays and occasions. The cafe has a very robust menu with plenty of healthy options. The portions are HUGE and perfect to share with another person. They offer take out meals, catered boxes, and party platters. This place is a gem and deserves to be recognized. Mamas and women, if you need a place to meet your mama friends and girlfriends, or if you want to take your child out for a mommy & me date, this place is a home run. Dots Cafe is a 10 out of 10! Extra kudos for the owner being the #1 Dodger fan!!

Absolutely yummy lunch at Dots cafe. They offer a menu with sandwiches, salads, and they even sell their popular cupcakes! This is a great location on Colorado/Rosemead and right off the 10 freeway! We all ordered their sandwiches and salad and it was all made very good. The food is very fresh, my fries were made perfectly crispy, and I love how my swiss cheese just pulls out. My only downside is the edges of the bread was a bit too tough for me. The lunch was a good portion. My colleagues loved their food as well and their salad was very good. Matcha latte was more milky but I finished the whole cup. The location is very clean and if you choose to dine in, then you would order first, and then staff would bring the food to you. Keep in mind lunch hours is usually very packed especially on a weekday so plan ahead :)

I guess this is the spot for coffee and pastries in Pasadena. It was a cute shop with a millennial-friendly aesthetic. Brick walls, exposed ceiling, and lots of hanging lights. Case full of beautiful pastries, house chocolates and merchandise for sale. The line moved quickly enough, and service was friendly and reasonably fast. A table opened up for us when we needed it, and we sat and enjoyed our coffee and pastry. I got a salted honey latte, which was delicious. I'm not a habitual coffee drinker, and this felt like a special indulgent little treat. I'm not a pastry person either, but the kougin amann was fantastic, rich and buttery and shatteringly crispy. I also got a chocolate croissant to go for my husband, who said it was really good. We sat for maybe half an hour, and when we left, someone was there to take our spot, and we had to squeeze past the line that was coming through the door. I don't like coffee and sweets enough to do all that on a regular basis, but I enjoyed my visit to Artisanal Goods and would recommend it if you want top notch pastries in Pasadena.

However, it was also really hot that day so I came prepared with a big hat because I saw the line wrap around the building. I know there is some seasonal items that sell out really quick to keep an eye out of. The chocolate croissant was great and I'll have to wait to try some of their other items next time which I also hear is amazing. The dining area isn't the biggest popular places. It's probably not the easiest to find a spot to sit and enjoy unless you time it correctly.

First, the good: the cinnamon roll was moist and fluffy all the way through. No dry cinnamon rolls here! The service was also very friendly. The not so good: my first bite, which somehow managed to not have much icing, gave me a clear taste of the dough. It reminded me a lot of canned biscuit dough. I prefer a thicker icing, this one was quite runny and very sweet without any nuance to the flavor. Also, I really wanted to try the peach cobbler cupcakes but they didn't have any cupcakes in stock at all, only a few cake slices. We went around noon, and I hoped they would have plenty of options around that time :/ Unfortunately I've had much better cinnamon rolls elsewhere in LA. It's still tasty because, well, it's a cinnamon roll... but not sure I'll be back unless it's to try the cake or cupcakes.

Their New York rolls were full, rich, flaky, and flavorful. Unfortunately, over the past year, the quality has gone completely downhill. The croissants are now dry, overcooked, and tasteless , even early in the morning. It honestly feels like they changed the butter because the flavor is gone. The pastries look beautiful for Instagram, but the taste no longer matches the image. People probably come for the terrace and the "Paris" aesthetic, but nothing about these pastries feels authentically French anymore. The owner is Iranian and honestly should stick to Iranian pastries instead of trying to market this place as a French pâtisserie, because it is nowhere close to the quality or refinement of a real French pastry shop. On top of that, customer service is terrible. The employees are rude, impatient, and act bothered when you ask simple questions like the price of a croissants ; especially since prices are not clearly displayed. Paying almost $7 for a croissant or New York roll, and $10+ for many pastries, would maybe be acceptable with excellent quality and service... but definitely not with dry pastries and rude staff. Parking is another nightmare. There's no dedicated parking lot, so you have to park on San Fernando, pay for parking, and parking enforcement is constantly circling waiting to ticket people the second your time expires. This was my last visit. Save your money and go elsewhere for pastries -- honestly, even Whole Foods does better at this point.
