Spend a day transforming your hair. Everyone is amazing, and if you get the chance, please book an appointment with Chaz Dean. He is the best at knowing the right color and cut for you. When they wash your hair, you sit in a relaxing ‍ ‍ massage chair! You can purchase Wen products, and the salon smells like heaven. Upstairs has an open space where you see the growing bamboo. If Chaz is there, you may see 2 angels with him. Make sure to give them lots of love & tummy rubs. You will be investing in yourself and will definitely love it. I'll definitely be bookmarking this as my go-to salon for everything and seeing Chaz in the fall for my touch-up.

Love this salon! Such great service and skill. Alie has been my hair stylist for many years and is the only person I trust with my hair. I used to use a lot of heat on my hair and she taught me how to style my natural curls that I didn't even know I had. Also, loooove the Chaz dean products they smell amazing and leave my hair with the perfect texture. If you've been searching for a hair stylist that understands natural hair this is your spot!

She kept me cozy while getting a wash. Pups definitely elevated the experience. I got so happy seeing them here

I asked for a haircut last minute and Stephanie I believe her name is for me in the next day with Payton. I couldn't be more happy with the haircut I got with the amazing wash and massage. I got to meet Chaz's beloved puppies. I had such an amazing experience and can't wait to go back for my next cut. He took time to learn my hair make sure what I asked for was what I needed and started with minimal layers until I felt comfortable with more. My hair has so much volume and feels so much healthier. Thank you guys I couldn't be happier

I walked into a space that covers a lot of ground, from snacks and drinks to beauty products, home goods, and collectibles, and the density of what is on display makes it easy to spend more time browsing than I planned. The snack selection is the strongest draw and covers an impressive range. I saw Asian versions of familiar American snacks sitting alongside Japanese and Korean originals, and the drink section downstairs is broad enough that finding something I have not tried before is a near certainty. The variety of drinks, many with anime or character branding, reflects a buying approach that goes beyond the standard convenience store selection. The beauty and skincare section upstairs is well stocked with Korean and Japanese brands that are not widely available at American drugstores. I browsed through everything from face wash to sheet masks and specialty treatments, and the prices are competitive for imported products of this type. Blind boxes occupy their own significant section, and the selection across different series is one of the better in the city, with reasonable pricing relative to what the same items cost at specialty toy stores. Home goods, toys, collectibles, and kawaii accessories fill the remaining floor space. For a one stop shop for Korean and Japanese lifestyle goods, snacks, and beauty products in Koreatown, TESO Life delivers a broad and browsable experience that rewards repeat visits.

I want to report that this website continues to post and promote products that are clearly a scam…read more In my case, I placed an order for body creams on March 3rd, and the company that processed the charge on my account was a completely different one called MELIO. Right after they charged me, the order was canceled with the excuse that I had requested the cancellation, which is absolutely false. I never canceled anything. Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not! This is robbery. I should not have to lose my money like this. And who is going to compensate me for the damage? This situation is unacceptable. I have already reported this case to: My credit card company The Better Business Bureau The appropriate authorities here in California These two companies are working together to scam people. They are shameless thieves. Be careful!

It's not a big store size wise but they do pack a lot of punch. Service is kind and friendly, often times they can get busy due to the demand but they manage. I walked into a store that is essentially one large room, and the density of product on display meant navigating it during a busy period required some patience, but the selection within that compact space was broader than the size suggested. The Korean literature section covers both Korean language and English language editions across a range of genres, which makes it genuinely useful for anyone studying the language or looking for titles that are difficult to find at general bookstores in the city. I saw children's books in Korean, well stocked. The K pop side of the store covers albums, photocards, posters, keychains, stickers, and merchandise across a wide range of artists, with BTS having a particularly strong presence historically alongside newer groups. Pricing runs higher than what I would pay ordering online or finding the same items at a larger retailer, which is the standard trade off for a specialty shop in Manhattan. Album prices in particular can be steep, though sale events bring them down to more competitive territory. Individual accessory items like stickers and bookmarks are priced at a premium relative to their size, so going in with a sense of what I am willing to spend helps avoid sticker shock at the register. The store is a reliable stop for anyone looking for Korean books or K pop merchandise in a physical retail setting in New York, with the caveat that the pricing and the crowd level are both factors worth knowing about before I go.
