I had the Italian sandwich and it was fantastic. The rest of my crew ordered some different sandwiches of which I don't recall, but they also loved them. Everything was very fresh and the garlic bread had a great rustic texture. We all ordered the medium, and even my skinny sister was almost able to finish it. The kool-Aid options were an unexpected surprise, I haven't had that since I was a kid and I took advantage of the free refills. The cups are fun too, if they weren't paper, they would be in everyone's kitchen cupboard at home. We all keep a couple plastic cups around, right!? We have been here multiple times and each experience is always the same, quick service, but mistakes made on the sandwiches, or just no changes. The ambiance reminds me of a take out sandwich shop with a bar. I love that on Thursdays there is a bingo night that you can join. The service when ordering is good, they listen to all the changes and list it on the order, however- we normally take our sandwiches to go. When we do- that's when we find the issues with our sandwiches and there is no reason for us to go back. So overall all the sandwiches we have had have been good, but may be better with some cheese substitutions or without some sauces we don't really care for. Guess we won't know until we come back and hope the sandwich is made right. Sometimes the subs are just a change in cheese, or removing a sauce- so its not always huge, except I did a BYO- and it was all cheese- no meat (and I ordered two meats), so that was the only true downfall. I'm hoping eventually I have a good experience, but I don't expect too much from a sandwich shop. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I got the hummus and guacamole sandwich. I had to search for the hummus. How is that even a thing? If you ate chicken and ordered a chicken sandwich then you shouldn't have to search for it. Hummus of all this should be abundant. The mushrooms were raw and I would have preferred cooked. Upon arriving , the environment was very inviting. Not too busy but good music and workers. The cashier helped me out with some suggestions. The place is really cool. We have been wanting to try out Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs ever since they opened. Finally got that chance coming home late from the Boots In The Park, and were looking to get food. Space is a fair size with tables and chairs for dining in. There is also a patio area and a bar with beers on tap as well as cocktails which would make it great for Happy Hour as well as hanging out with friends. There were quite a few orders ahead if our so waiting for the food was a bit long. Note to self: get their app/website and order online! We ordered the following: 1. Apollo 13 Greek Chicken Grilled chicken breast, garlic butter, kalamata olive, feta, spring mix, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake & Greek dressing 2. 5-0 All the Pig, Baby! Smoked ham, genoa salami, prosciutto, pepperoni, bacon, giardiniera pepper, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake & House dressing Hubs loved the Apollo 13! He said it was like eating a chicken gyro! As for the 5-0, it had a great spice kick from the first bite to the last! We both went with the Pinner (8") size but would easily order the Blunt (12") next time. Also, the recommended Garlic & Herb bread was the all time winner! Soooo good! We door dash sub from here alot and we haven't had any issues with the quality of food or issues with any order from cheba hut. Anytime I've asked for toppings removed they always been removed, anytime I've asked for extra sauce they always delivered and sauced it up! (Appreciate that) We haven't been inside the shop yet, but just knowing how you take care of online orders. I can't imagine what it would be like in house. The North Las Vegas location on Craig Road offers around 26 varieties of submarine sandwiches that come in three sizes or a salad option. Besides sandwiches they also offer a few other things like French Onion soup, cups of meatballs, and pretzel nuggets. The North Las Vegas location also has a bar. You order and pay at the counter. Grab a beverage and seat yourself. On my visit this location has only been opened a few days and over-all was good but also had some opening hiccups. The music (hip hop, rap, reggae) was too loud. The person taking our order couldn't hear us over the loud music. He said that he would turn the music down a little but never did. We received our sandwiches in a timely manner and both sandwiches were good but also BOTH WERE MISSING TOMATOES. On our way out my husband asked why our sandwiches were missing tomatoes. Someone replied that they were out of tomatoes today. We would have liked to be told that they were out of tomatoes so we wouldn't have to wonder about it.....The right thing to do in a restaurant is to tell the customer when you are out of something so we don't feel ripped off.........Anyways....Also to both of us it did seem weird that they didn't buy a few tomatoes when Smart and Final is only a couple doors down. It's been awhile since I have been to a Cheba Hut. And completely forgot they had one close to me so my daughter, granddaughter and I decided to go. We were greeted as we entered and the young woman behind the counter was very friendly and polite. We placed our order, got our drinks and sat down. Our appetizer was a mess and they use doritos which quickly gets soggy. Fortunately, our entrees made up for it. I enjoyed my AK-47, although it seemed about $3 too much for the size and ingredients. We LOVE Cheeba Hut!!! We are so excited that they have opened another location in North Las Vegas ( W Craig Road ) and we were invited for their VIP event before grand opening. It was such a great event and amazing atmosphere and of course delicious food. They are hands down THE BEST toasted subs in town!!! Yummy The place is beautifully decorated with a huge mural on the wall. It is absolutely gorgeous. The vibes are always upbeat and enjoyable. They have a nice big patio and it will be a nice place to hang out when the weather gets cooler. The food is great and there are many vegetarian and vegan options! They have a huge selection! A lot of flavors going on in almost every sub I had on the menu. You cannot go wrong whatever you order, because every sub on their menu is super delicious!
