Was out and about and while we were not avoiding cooking for lunch, every once in awhile we'll get a sub or some other fastish food. We actually did burgers recently but figured a nice cold sub would work. I've been to this on several times before and they've always been worthy of at least a 4 star review, today I was more impressed by the team. Three were working the line, one guy taking the order and slicing, one guy adding condiments and final assembly and a young girl (Justine, from what my receipt said) ran the register and bagged. So I gave my order and the wizard of paper thin slices went to work. I usually ask for and pay for extra meat. He artfully arranged everything on the roll and the condiment expert dressed my sub. I asked for it mikes way but with the oil and vinegar on the side so I wouldn't have a soggy sandwich when I got home. Asked for and received a military discount (5%) . Somehow I seem to remember it being 10 % , but I might be wrong . Asked for my giant sub to be cut in four sections for nibbling later. Real talk, I'm definitely guilty of sleeping on this sammich spot, not to mention this review lol! For some reason, I always overlooked stopping here in favor of Caps & JJ's. My loss! Having now corrected this character flaw, I've made about 10 trips in the last two months alone. Admittedly I still stop at the others for a couple of favs I have, however for freshness and flavors, JM can't be matched. Different every visit, each crew has been friendly, polite, & professional. As an Officer with Clark County, I was refused service at this location because of a review left regarding the lack of professionalism from Roderick. Roderick is rude and very unpleasant with his nose in the air. Leaving a review should prompt the individual to do better, not refuse service to customers. For the first time here for a quick lunch I had a juicy Regular Tuna Fish Sub on White Bread made Mike's Way and including Pickle Chips and a few Banana Peppers beyond the standard lettuce and tomatoes. This sammie was accompanied by a small bag of Miss Vickie's Smokehouse BBQ Potato Chips and a Diet Pepsi. I had never had this particular chip before, and liked it very much: tangy but not overpowering in BBQ flavoring. The sub was so filling, I almost stopped halfway through. But I eventually persevered until it was all gone in one sitting. Service was friendly and good, except when I asked for a cup the cashier had initially forgotten that I ordered a combo meal. I went in for a pick this evening. The skinny black guy with braids is ALWAYS rude, arrogant, and full of attitude. I pick up at this place almost EVERY DAY, yet this guy is always unhappy, rude, and arrogant. The first thing he always says loudly and rudely is, "Pick up for who?" I thought he was just rude to me, then I watched how he interacts with the rest of the customers who walked in after me. Same, he's rude to them as well: no smile, angry behavior, and arrogance. He won't respond, even when you greet him. He's so bitter, maybe hates his job. A guy who wraps sandwiches all day is rude to customers; be kind...it shows how lack of education and humility drives this man to hurt Jersey Mike by pushing customers away. If you're looking to order Jerseys Mikes through a delivery app, think twice before ordering at this location. A group of us was having a pool day so we decided to order from this location for lunch. We ordered sandwiches and chips. When we received our order we were missing the most expensive item, The Big kahuna so I decided to call and see what could be done. The "Manager" answers the phone. Informed him of what happened. He said well I'm looking at your sandwich right here. Why don't you come and get it? I explained to him the whole purpose of purchasing through Uber eats was so that way it could be delivered and we didn't have to leave. Mind you we have a group of children that was with us and the child with special needs was going to split this sandwich with his father. He said well "You know human error happens and there's nothing that we can do". We're not going to deliver it again so you need to come pick it up. I get it. Human error happens but businesses like this and Uber eats have been around for a long time and every other place that I've ordered from they literally check off what's on the receipt that is clipped to the bag to make sure every item is there. Why haven't they imposed this type of system or at least double check the orders. I'm sure my voice sounded frustrated and rightfully so but I did not raise my voice and I did not cuss I was sticking to the matter of fact that I did not want to leave my house today. I have a group of children here and I wanted my food delivered. I explained to him I would not be able to make it today but tomorrow I can come by. The manager hung up on me so I called back. I asked him why did you hang up on me. He said that I was being loud and rude. I asked him to name one thing that I've said that was out of line. He hung up on me again. I called back again. I asked him, can I please have your name so that way when I show up tomorrow to pick up my sandwich I can say that so and so "the manager" said that I had a free sandwich because of what happened today. The manager hung up again. My girlfriend then tried calling back. He also hung up on her so we decided to call the regional manager. She informed us that he was being completely unprofessional and that she was going to take a report and also refund us our complete meal. There's a way to handle things. If you're a manager, you should be able to let a customer know your name, especially if they're going to be picking up an item that was forgotten. Don't take it personal. You don't understand the person's circumstances. We had disabled children with us. Have some empathy and impatience towards your customers especially when they paid over $60 for sandwiches and they did not receive what was ordered. read more

But today I am going to tell you that when you order for pickup, this location just doesn't care to ensure the bread isn't harder than the first row of bricks in a 1,000 story building. This bread probably used a titanium bimetal sawzall blade to cut it. HOW DID THEY NOT NOTICE the diamond hardness of this Rosemary bread??? And they also completely ignore my request to be very liberal with the "juice" in fact it looked like they barely used any juice at all. I can tell you they would NEVER make those two errors if they were making the sandwich in front of you. Lastly, they forgot the spicy mustard. It's so frustrating to not have any confidence in ordering for pickup or delivery. So the bread wasn't edible due to the hardness so thank goodness I had some bogie bread and was able to utilize that to make my meal tolerable. So know this, I come to JM's alot. While we've experienced a few messy sandwiches from this location in the past, what I received today was beyond disappointing. Well I'm not even kidding literally right after I just said that, the intoxicated dude started making another chipotle chicken sub with peppers so I had to stop him and say hey man it's STEAK NO PEPPERS. Thinking we're good to go now I sat down got on my phone and waited ti'll it was ready, picked up my sandwich and left again. Well I shit you not I got back to my girl's and it was still chicken and god damn peppers. I was livid to say the least I hopped in my car again and went back there told them I couldn't believe they messed my sub up again and asked to have them make me another, they refused because they said I was rude and because told them I'd go in the kitchen and make it myself. We like the sandwiches here. It's our neighborhood go to place but we always have the same complaint and that is the pick up process. Example: I walked in while the guy was finishing my sandwich thus completing my order (the other sandwich was already in the bag). He took my sandwich, looked at my receipt attached to the bag, placed my sandwich in the bag and INSTEAD of seeing my order is complete (which it was), attach the tape and then place the bag in the pick up area as customary, he just puts my sandwich in the bag and proceeds to help a customer. I'm standing there looking at my ready to pick up order and waiting until the guy get's to it even though it's ready for me to take. Eventually he did get to it. After he finished with customers and turned around looking for something to do. He looked at the receipt on my bag, again. Got some tape & closed the bag (this is how I found out the other part of my order was completed before I arrived) and THEN moved it to the pick up area. This all happened over 10 minutes. This is a wonderful Jersey Mike's location. The ownership is fantastic and is usually in the building during the day when I come to pick up my subs. I usually order the turkey and provolone or the roast beef and provolone on white bread. They cut the meat right in front of you so you know it's fresh. All hot subs are cooked to order on the grill. You have to wait a little longer for your sandwich if it's hot but it's worth the wait. I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly. It's located in a shopping center so parking can get a little tough during busy times of the day.
