The meat portions on a giant sub are not at all equivalent to the price that you pay. I spent nearly $20 on a Stickball Special which comes with ham and salami but there were nominal slices of salami. I can't imagine returning here to pay such a huge price for a little sandwich. Love Jersey mikes the #13 is my favorite item the Italian. Love the cold cuts love the fresh toppings and i especially love the fact they don't have 20 random toppings. I get it Mike's way with very light mayo and sweet relish. Mikes way for those who are wondering is. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil, vinegar, and spices. You want mayo you have to ask for it as well as the relish. I got it on white bread a giant size. The bread must be baked fresh because it's light and air and has a very light crunch on the under carriage. The guy who took my order on the other hand was not so friendly and he also must have been hard of hearing. I had to yell my order at him 3/4 times because he was trying to have a side conversation with his other employees. On the other hand the kid working the cashier was taking my order down and didn't bother to bag anything up and I had to grab my own drink cup because he was too busy counting the Pennie's and bills in the register. The women's restroom was absolutely filthy. I only Know because my wife told me while taking g my daughter to the restroom. Inside dining area was fairly clean though I will give them that. The portion of tuna salad given was generous, and instructions to prepare the sandwich "Mike's Way" except for no salt, and to add pickle chips and a slice of Provolone Cheese were faithfully carried out. The only complaints I have is that some tables were covered with crumbs, and trash baskets were overladen with trash. This hurt the ambiance, and the amount of truly available seating. New Year back to diet lol. I ordered Spicy Italian without the bread. It was good. I wish I added more vinegar so the lettuce wasn't dry but I still like it. I am extremely disappointed by this location. I ordered my food at 11:36 on the website, figuring it would be quicker if I ordered in advance. It said it would be ready by 11:46. When I got there at 11:45 there were about six people in line and 3 people waiting for the food. By the time I got my food the entire line plus probably about 10 more new people had gotten their food. I think even though they have to take care of their customers who walk in, they should definitely prioritize the people who order in advance, especially over new people that come in after. I love the food at Jersey Mikes but the customer service is going to lose them customers. I understand they are short staffed but then I feel like they have to tell people when they order online or make the people who come in after wait until they finish the online orders. First time trying it..and I was able to customize it adding Mayo and their Cherry pepper relish which was on the medium to mild side like I like it? I do toast the Sub closed in my toaster oven, so just to toast it on the outside like I like to eat it? I visited this location today around 5:00pm. I walked in and there were no customers and 4 employees behind the counter. Not one of them acknowledged me in any way. Finally a girl asked if I had been helped and I said no. She looked away. One employee was too busy dancing to think of working. One guy was so focused on wiping the counter where they do sandwiches and then wiping the blades on the meat cutter with the same rag that he barely looked up and said they would be with me shortly. After ringing up the customer before me, I noticed that she was touching the screen, cups, etc and failed to change her gloves. I asked her to change her gloves politely before touching my sub. With so many sandwich spots out there, I'm always looking for something to make a place stand out. I've been to this chain in multiple states and they make a good sandwich...no doubt. Both their hot and cold subs are tasty and they have fresh ingredients. What stands out to me the most about this particular location (Craig Road) however, is the service. They have a pretty large crew working for lunch (I go there often because it is close to the office) and no matter who is at what station (e.g., register, making sandwiches) they are friendly, courteous and working fast, which is important to getting people through the relatively tight quarters. I love the #2 & 13 for cold subs and you can't go wrong with the meatball sub and the cheesesteak if you want a hot sub. I vacillate on whether I'm feeling like getting a sub "Mike's Way", so I recommend trying them both ways to see what you like! read more
