The first order placed was a series of 4 monthly arrangements thru an association with WFF. The first arrangement was supposed to be a stunning array of beautiful pink French tulips in varying shades. . What arrived as a gift was a short floral arrangement with not one tulip in the bunch. I was very upset but let that pass. I also ordered a separate Easter arrangement at the same time as the others as a gift also done by Semia from the White Flower Farm website with stunning flowers and striking colors of red, crimson and other beautiful colors /flowers and what arrived yesterday as a gift was a very underwhelming bunch of flowers in a very bland color palette of greens, whites and yellow that I would never put together for myself let alone give as a gift to others. The next arrangement of flowers that is supposed to arrive at my mom's doorstep is a beautiful array of stunning irises. I have no confidence that those flowers will show up as advertised or promised. I love flowers and I love growing them and arranging them as gifts. When I saw Semia's beautiful arrangements in the WFF catalogue they spoke to me as if it were something I would have picked from my own garden and arranged to give to someone I love who I cannot see during these difficult times. Therefore, it's SO DISAPPOINTING that no arrangements are showing up from Semia as advertised and with not so much as an explanation. A total waste of time, money and my emotion.

I sorta wish I had planned a giant wedding so I could have hired her! She's top of her game.

Let me say that I do understand it was the day before Mother's Day but there was only 2 other customers in the store when I was there. An employee came over and asked if we had been helped yet. We told her "no, we are waiting for assistance " she went to the back and came out with another woman who asked what we needed. I told her we were there to order a bridal bouquet. The second woman told me " I don't have anyone who can talk to you, you will have to come back another day". I have never felt so unvalued as a customer from a business as I did that day. No one could take 10 minutes to ask what exactly I needed. (I know it was 10 minutes because I timed the visit to a different florist who took the time to speak to me and it took 10 minutes to choose the flowers I liked and to pay her for them.) So my experience at Gilmore's was not good in any way that day. I specifically chose Gilmore's because I want to support local businesses as much as I can, but it seemed like while they were important to me, my business was not important enough to take a few minutes to talk to me.

Every other vendor I spoke with mentioned their minimum price, right off the bat, not Chris, he wanted to know what the vibe was, what flower we liked, and what we thought we wanted to spend. I thought he and his team would do great work, but he did so much more - he made the venue look magical.
