Worst service ever! If you want to get treated bad and have a bad burger this is your place!

I normally do not do this but they deserve it. If I was yall customers I would stop eating there. ESPECIALLY THE ICE CREAM! The shake cream has maggots in the machine from time to time because they do not clean it ! Just refill it continuously. The store manager Christopher Gonzalez was told and he said to leave it! This can be confirmed. The fries are recooked. This means if they cook fries and they sit there for 1 hour and someone comes and order guess what they drop it back in the fryer. The only time they cook it fresh is if they do not have enough fries to serve the orders or they are busy. When they run out of food instead of getting quality food they get dollar tree food to feed you all. The meat they do not cook fully they cook it and serve it while the pink is still coming out the meat even if management speaks up. I have proof of all of this. The food sometimes sit there for hours and is still served. They do not use the timers to throw away the food ! Someone gets sick just use this for reserve and email me for pics. The teenagers that works there has also coughed in their hands and openly cached on the food purposely especially if a customer is being difficult and food and they do not change their gloves. Meaning when they touch the raw meat the then make yall food WITH THOSE SAME GLOVES ! Good luck to the customers. I just tried checkers for the first time It was so tasty! I got mozzarella sticks, the baconzilla, and a shake. All of it tasted great. The food came out quickly and the worker that helped me was very kind. Overall everything was good. read more

Attitude could be better. Parking for Trucks. Great deli items & other to go products. Much more offered than junk food. Many items however are not marked, so no pricing. Restrooms clean. Early arrivals for parking. read more

They really don't know how to properly do customer service. Went in there this past Sunday before the Super Bowl to get something to eat and I told them no sauce on my burger and no salt on my fries. They did extra sauce and a ton of salt on the fries. When I went to the front counter to say something they rudely told me, "no I didn't and started to argue with me". I told them very calmly that they're wrong and I have a customer along with my wife hear me say it. Their response was, "ok and so what they're not going to fix it and to deal with it". I had to tell them that I can't have salt and they still said that they didn't care. I told them to fix it and if not that I'll get ahold of their corporate office and they still really didn't care. When I got on the phone with them; they told me to get off the phone it's not allowed. I told them to show the law that I can't be on MY phone and call who I want to on my phone. They got upset and walked off. In all honesty; it's better to go else where because the service is bad overall and a total waste one money. Would rather eat at McDonald's. read more

While visiting Baytown, TX, my grandson begged to stop at the Checkers at the 16203 FM 565 location. We went in, ordered and sat and waited for our burgers. There were nats and an occasional fly buzzing about, which did not impress me. When we got the order, my drink wasn't delivered and the burger was dry. Reached for the mustard and at the top, it was caked with dried mustard at the top. Went to another table to get a clean bottle, and it was the same way. Looked at all the tables, and they were all nasty, as well. This location was not clean, and presented itself as though it was not kept well, either. I'll NEVER eat Checker's or Rally's again!!! Saturday, Dec 16, 2017 @ 10p I had suggested we go here.... hang on, let me back up. A few decades ago, Checker's had a location in Baytown, TX. The store had a good vibe around it back then, it was the first new restaurant in years in the area. It became the local hang out for the teens, meaning me. So there is some nostalgia with Checker's. Years later they went out of business and I haven't eaten there in years. Fast forward to now when I heard that there was a Checker's close to Baytown. I was down there with my family for my mother's funeral services. She passed away suddenly and one thing we enjoyed doing as a family is eating random places. We had just got done making the final arrangements for her services and I remembered Checker's. That's where we went. We drove a long way out of our way to get to this certain restaurant. On the website it says it's open til 1AM, it doesn't specify if it is drive-thru or inside or what. We get there and park it was 5 min til 10 PM. Their door said 11 PM. So we tried to go in, the door was locked. Ok, Odd. It was attached to a gas station so we went inside through the gas station. We were met with angry employees telling us that they were closed. I questioned it, they said we could go through the drive-thru and order but they closed the inside because they only have 2 employees working, were short handed, so they decided to randomly close the inside. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that there was no one there I could talk to. I asked for a manger's name and contact info and was refused. I asked for corporate's contact info and they refused that as well. I just wanted to sit down and have a burger. We had just spent 12 hours on the road from Dallas, to Baytown, up to Batson, and was headed back to Baytown after planning my mother's funeral services unexpectedly. You think a little compassion would have ensued, but no. These punk kids chose to get ugly and slam the door in our faces and tell us we could order through the drive-thru. There were customer's still sitting inside during this whole time. The people from the gas station were highly upset because apparently they have been pulling these stunts for quite some time and no one at Checker's or Rally's is doing anything about it because their managers at that level are covering it up. Which is why those kids refused to give it to me and why the website contain's no information on how to complain about their shitty service and how bad they have really become. I know if I ever treated a customer that way I would have been fired on the spot. And you wonder why your business is doing so poorly. Shape up or ship out. Don't treat people that way. An employee like that is only hurting your business, and your relationships with other businesses (the gas station your building is attached to). You need to take a better look at the business at the bottom level and work up. read more
