This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. Late Saturday night my friends and I went to Cheddar's. The waiting area (of two benches) was full, so we had to wait outside in the rain. After being seated, it took forever for our drinks to arrive. We had to flag our waiter down multiple times. How long does it take to make a Jack & Coke? We had to ask him constantly for refills because we were sucking them down in minutes. It was blazing hot inside, so we flagged down a manager and commented on how hot it was. Come to find out, the AC isn't working. Why weren't we told this when we first set foot in the restaurant? It's packed, the AC isn't working, AND you sit us next to the kitchen... are you kidding me? So of course we're starting to get moody because we're soaking in our own sweat, our drinks are nowhere to be found, and when they do finally arrive they're already melted because it's 95 degrees outside and humid. Then in the middle of this miserable experience, another waitress is cleaning off the table right next to us, bent over, and some waiter came up to her and started groping her butt. She giggled and they played around for a minute like two middle school kids afraid of being caught by their parents. Gross. And to top it all off, the table in front of us complained to the manager that we were being too loud. It's Saturday night, you sat us next to the kitchen, in a packed restaurant with a broken AC, and we're all drinking. Give me a break. And the kicker? They complained because they didn't want their child around our "foul language"... oh you mean the "child" that was outside smoking earlier? Cute. At the very least, the manager was nice about it, but it was just a bad ending to a bad night. The food was nothing special, certainly not enough to redeem Cheddar's in my eyes. The only thing they have that's unique is their croissants. Absolutely the worst. Arrived with party of 6 (which included 2 small children) to celebrate my husband's birthday. Place was not busy. Waitress was Crystalbel. From the start, she wasn't very helpful or friendly. We ordered our drinks, meals, and cheese dip with chips. Cheese arrived hard and cold. We scooped it and tried to mash it so kids could try to eat. Drinks came 15 minutes later. As meals were taking forever and kids were getting hungry, we requested more chips which took over 30 minutes to arrive. Horrible experience! The chicken platter arrived incomplete. It did not bring the roll or bread. My daughter's meal was made incorrectly and it was never remade, so she did not eat. The rolls did not arrive and the waitress said they had burned and were being remade. Waitress was nowhere to be found. My husband went to speak to Mgr Lorie. Explained all that was going on. Lorie was extremely dismissive and kept on minimizing what was happening. She came to the table and proceeded to have a discussion in front of the kids who by now were upset about seeing their grandfather upset, their mom not eating and seeing the "Manager" continue with her conversation in front of them. This lady is very hostile and impersonal. She felt by giving Free Cheese cards, she was fixing the situation. Her lack of empathy, understanding, and respect for the customers spoke volumes. I asked for District Mngr and she gave me Guest Relations. When I told her I would be complaining she smiled and said, "I'm not worried about it, go ahead and call". I grew up in Texas and have eaten at Ceddar's quite often so I was overly excited to finally try the new one in Fayetteville. Let's just say that it is nothing like the other Cheddar's I have been to. The food was a hit or miss with our group, the ribs had no sauce and were cold when we recieved it. My husband enjoyed his bacon cheddar burger, but my son's was too rare and when they brougt it back after cooking it more they put it back on the red soggy bun. My pot roast meal was piping hot and good, but what really turned me off was the lack of service. Our server was absolutely not interested in making sure that our food was to our liking and could care less if we had napkins, silverware, or refills. My daughter waited 10 minutes for a side of ranch and we had to ask 3 times before she finally brought silverware to my son. Before we were even done eating she dropped off the check without seeing if we wanted dessert or anything else but that was fine with us because we were done with being there at that point. They may have great prices that appeal to a family such as ours, but we will not be back. read more

I would like to recognize Robin, the manager at Cheddar's in Fayetteville, for providing outstanding customer service. During a recent visit, an error was made with my order. Instead of dismissing the situation, Robin took the time to listen, understand my concerns, and personally ensure that everything was corrected. What stood out most was Robin's professionalism, patience, and willingness to make things right. I also want to acknowledge that the restaurant was extremely busy at the time. With graduation celebrations taking place, there were large to-go orders and a packed dining room, yet Robin remained calm, attentive, and focused on providing excellent service. I completely understood that mistakes can happen, especially during such a busy rush, and I truly appreciated the care and effort that went into resolving the issue. We normally try to go to Cheddars at least once a month for lunch. On this evening my grand kids wanted to take me there for my birthday. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Service was terrible, took for ever to get served just the appetizer. Dinks came after we were about done with the appetizer. The cheese dip they brung us you can tell was old, lumpy. The manager said it's made earlier in the day. Told her you can't serve somethping at dinner that you made earlier for lunch. Not good !!! The croissant breads we were supposed to get before the meal, came at the end of the meal. after an hour and a half wait they messed up all the orders. Waited an additional 20 minutes and still nothing. The worst was tried to speak to the manager about it and basically she was non caring with her reply. Not happy at all. Did not get drinks when we got there. Had to wait for waitress. It was so cold could not even eat our food. We told three different employees that we were really cold. Nothing was done about it. All they did was agree that it was really cold. If they would have looked around the restaurant the would have noticed that not a single customer took off there jacket!!!! Went to Cheddar's to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was excited as this was a restaurant that I recognized from Ohio. The service was excellent, food was awesome and very reasonable. I agree the waiting area was not big enough but I could say that about 90% of the restaurants in Fayetteville have that problem. I would definitely go back and recommend this restaurant. read more

The only complaint i have is that there are sooo many good items to choose from on the menu that its overwhelming! We always get the hot honey croissants and they are soooo warm and yummy. And the montecristo is also very very good! My son loves their chicken tenders because they're actually real chicken and not that fluffy processed junk. read more

My wife and I walked in the restaurant and was pleased that it was not crowded. The greeter placed us at a booth near others. 20 minutes went by and no one came to our table.
