Had an enjoyable lunch at the Cheddars in Midwest City. Started with cheese bites. They were good and I would order them again but they were not as light an airy as I like them and the cheese was not as soft and smooth as I like. I ordered chicken strips and they were excellent. The green beans were a little too sweet. Cheadders has an American themed menu with a lot of variety. The food is good and the prices moderate. My daughter order the shrimp Alfredo. I ordered the Chicken Fried chicken. The single portion and also ordered a classic Margarita. The service was really good. He came and brought our drinks. Went here for lunch Tuesday. It's was awesome. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive. The food was fantastic. I had blackened fish with broccoli & cheese casserole and loaded baked potato. The fish was served over a flavorful yellow rice. The fish was cooked great and flavorful. The broccoli casserole is always a hit and the loaded potato was good too. The complimentary honey butter croissants are always sweet and fluffy. My were celebrating my aunt's birthday and she enjoyed everything. The painkiller , ribs and shrimp combo, with broccoli casserole, and a baked potato. My mom had a steak with baked potato and steamed broccoli. The steak was just okay. It was tough (that because my mom orders well done ‍) it also lacked seasoning. Other than that it was a great experience. The vibes are good and definitely a family friendly place. We went in at 1:04pm with a group of 8. We were told there was an hour wait, perfectly fine. We went and shopped a little and came back an hour later. Table still wasn't ready, so we waited an additional 30 minutes. They weren't visibly busy. When we finally got sat down, the host was coughing trying to talk to us. Then drinks were brought to us and there was a solid something in the bottom of my sweet tea. Then our steaks came out. 2 out of the 3 steaks ordered were WAY under cooked (temped at 125 & yes I bring my thermometer with me everywhere, me and my lady are chefs). They put mine back on the grill, brought back and it was still under cooked & tasted like iron in a rusty bucket. They took it off the bill because I only took a few bites out of it & I wasn't going to pay for a meal I couldn't enjoy. Our friend who had the other steak didn't want to say anything about hers so she ate her potato and put her steak in a box. I will say our server, Kasie , was very nice & rolled with the kitchens mistakes. Our appetizers (cheese curds, onion rings & spinach dip) were really good also. Overall, it was a terrible experience. And we will likely never return to this location. Edit to add: it was also super cold inside and we were all wearing jackets the whole time. Food was meh. Wished we had not wasted $50 on our meal for 3. Plenty of other similarly priced restaurants with same type food. Service was average at best, not really attentive, friendly enough but certainly didn't seem super interested in serving us. Food service was VERY slow too. I was excited to have a business meeting in Midwest City! I don't have a cheddars near me, today was a good day. The food is very delicious, today I shared the ribs and chicken tenders with my partner. The ribs were falling off the bone. Chicken tenders fried perfectly, nice and juicy. Loaded mashed potatoes and green beans cooked as if I made them at home! the only place I can get my broccoli casserole. Cheddars never disappoint! It always taste the same. The balance of rice, broccoli, cheese and breadcrumbs will have you wanting more. The service was a bit slow, nothing against our waitress she was very good with communicating. The kitchen was getting tickets mixed up. BUMMER food was coming that wasn't ours. Made me wonder what and where was that food going after they picked it back up. Went to the MWC Chedder's to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday (party of 7 people). Got there at about 2:30 in the afternoon. Was told there were no tables available and it would be a 20-minute wait. After 30 minutes we went down the road to Logan's Roadhouse and were seated without any wait. The last three times we've been there have been issues. First time my order was 'lost' and then I was told they didn't have the ingredients for it. Second time we were told our order would be delayed because they had to change the oil in the fryer. Off hours job. Third time there were 11 of us and they sat us in three different booths, we found out a bit later we found out they had a table for 12 they could have put us at. We never got our appetizers and we had to wait 2 hours for our food. Changes definitely need to be made before we will come back and we love Cheddars. read more

Of the five of us that dined for lunch today, no one was happy or satisfied with the food. Three of us ordered the fried fish--the mushy mess inside, the lack of crisp on the outside. The fried shrimp with one of those orders came tasting ok but with the poop veins still in the shrimp--a nasty detail. The burger was described as poorly textured and came out with pickles although the order was for no pickles. The pecan chicken salad had half a handful of the pecans, the only tasty part of the salad. I will say that the service was great. I don't complain about that at all because people are out here working hard. But we work hard too and when we sit down to eat a nice meal, we want it to be nice. I am a Cheddars girl. I love this place to take family and friends because it offers everything and it tastes homemade. Today, wasn't the day for this store. Took my dad for a quick lunch of fish and chips and a crispy chicken sandwich. We were seated immediately and our drink order and food order was taken at the same time. We seen the waiter several times and he continued to tell us about a large party that came in before us that they were taking care of that's why things were running behind. We asked about the bread and he said it would be right out it never came. He eventually told us that he was or that the store was out of the croissants. Once our meal did arrive 38 minutes later as we sat there with nothing in front of us no bread no salad just a water and a tea our plates came out. My father's order was wrong. He ordered fish and chips. They gave him shrimp and fish not only that but the fish and shrimp, We're both cold. He ordered a side of coleslaw. They apparently ran out and never asked us if we wanted something different, so they gave him a side of mashed potatoes and a side of french fries both of which were also cold. My sandwich was fine other than the fact that my side which was also coleslaw came out as french fries I was never asked if I wanted any other type of side nor that they were out of coleslaw until after my plate arrived not even the waiter knew then he told us that that the store was out of several items including the croissants, ranch dressing, coleslaw, and a few other items, I heard him mention. He continued to appologize. I asked for mustard 3x that never came either. He didn't come back, were were done and needed to go boxes. I looked around and found 2,packed up what was left, I figured a hungry kid would get in the boxes later. Paid at the Kiosk, and left him a $2 tip. He completely forgot about our order. We were watching other tables with larger groups, seated after us coming out right with ours. Like it had been sitting for a longtime. Father's also allergic to shellfish so he would have never ordered shrimp. Luckily were always prepared with medications if needed but he didn't touch them and the breading on the fish was not crisp. It was soggy and doughy. Horrible lunch, horrendous service and a great disappointment. To the girl in the kitchen that yelled at me, I'm sorry but i was tired of dealing with the entire lunch service at that time. I saw the to go containers and took two. We arrived for dinner around 3:25 this afternoon. We were seated in bar area in a booth. My boyfriend and I sat there for 15 minutes with no one coming to the table, no drink, just the menu and us. I went to the front desk thinking maybe we needed to order on the tablet they had on the table. The lady at the desk told me no that she would get someone to take care of us. On August 3rd 2025, I went to cheddars cause I haven't been there in sometime, went to the one in midwest city, okla off 29th. Placed my order of $ 69.34 dollars and I waited an hour for my to go order, and it was the nastiest food I have had in a long time from there, my two steaks was very, very, salty and not the size that I upgraded to, the broccoli casserole was dried out. The croissants was hard and so is the chicken fried steak hard the gravy was water down nasty very very nasty. VERY VERY UNSATISFIED. I DON'T RECOMMEND. read more

Place with good prices but alot of changes in last year. We got seated fast. Waitress was nice but eyelashes and overall appearance was a little much for a family place like Cheddars. We ordered several different things. But ,first the paper menu , not showing my favorite anymore. I loved the honey mustard chicken dinner with mushrooms. Then She said they were not serving frozen drinks. Machine had been broke for months. I always loved the strawberry swirl. We ordered steak but came alittle fatty and hard to cut. On the good note.... Potato soup is good. The broccoli rice side is good. Sweet cob corn is good. Best thing always is the cresent rolls with butter all over them and a touch of honey, I believe. This week has been hectic. I was happy and surprised to find a birthday gift card to Cheddar's. It's been awhile. Lucky for us it wasn't crowded and we where seated quickly. I must admit our waiter was a bit off, not mean or anything but just distracted. You could totally tell he wanted to be somewhere else. He was very attentive. I was also pleasantly surprised to get comp honey butter crossiants, (we ate these before I could take a pic) they were delicious our food was delivered timely and hot. Overall a good meal. Not sure what was worse, the service or the food. Had to ask our server for drink refills and server never asked how our meals were. The "fall of the bone" ribs were far from that. Croissants dry and cold. Not a single person in our group of 7 finished their meal and it wasn't because of large portions. Never saw a manager. Will not return. read more
