Our adventure starts with an tour of the school my husband and I attended, a bit of fishing, a bit of shopping and lunch, before dinner that evening at 6. We decided to pick up a couple of vegetable plates for a light lunch, knowing what we were going to have later in the day. It made for a nice place to unwind. Even though we got the same dish(vegetable plate) ot was like night and day. Original my drink was gonna be a strawberry margarita, but they did not have the stuff for it, so I ended up with water and a strawberry mimosa( which was just as yummy). My husband got sweet tea for his beverage. My vegetable plate was fresh fruit(pineapple, strawberry and blueberry), hashbrown casserole with ketchup, coleslaw and fried apples. My husband's plate was baby carrots, fried apples, Mac n cheese and fresh fruit. There were biscuits and cornbread on the side. While hubby finished up his lunch and waited for the check, I excused myself and went to freshen up and went back to the table and we went and did some shopping, and then headed off to pick up a few things before heading to meet up with friends at 6. Our waitress was very nice, but not trained in how to check id's for alcoholic beverages, she had to go get someone that had their "license" to complete that portion of the order. After seeing the commercials I talked my wife into taking me to here this morning for breakfast. It was very busy but the wait time really wasn't that bad. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. They were extremely tasty and I highly recommend them. The fresh strawberries were excellent and not tart at all. I did have trouble getting refills for my water but that was my only complaint. read more

Brunch date with the hubby around 11:00. Not too busy we were seated right away. We ordered hash brown bowl, side of pancakes ( bc who doesn't eat pancakes at CB) and steak breakfast plates. Both were okay. Steak was sent back bc it was way too overcooked when we ordered medium. Hash brown bowl was okay it does need more gravy or sauce or extra sausage in it. My husband and I eat here often as we love a good consistent brunch! Service here has definitely improved over the past year so we will continue to visit often! We love the ambiance especially in the winter when it's cold and they have the large fireplace blazing! The country store is a nice place to find unique gifts for people who are hard to buy for also! The absolute worst Cracker Barrel Ive been to, although I'm not a Cracker Barrel conniseur. Went for breakfast two days ago and while I've never had anything mind-blowing at Cracker Barrel, I've not ever had anything that was terrible, until now. One star for the server and one for the eggs. I'm feeling generous. I ordered the chicken fried steak with two over easy eggs and hash brown casserole. Menu said it came with biscuits and gravy. Service was fine. Biscuits arrived in a basket with no gravy. Server asked if I wanted jelly. Well I wanted gravy but apparently that's off the table, and no gravy, do I want jelly? No I'll just eat these dry biscuits with nothing on them. The chicken fried steak was the sorriest excuse for chicken fried steak I've ever had. Zero crispy breading, just some watered down soggy "breading". And the steak itself had zero flavor. And gravy? Hardly any and it was watered down and runny too. The hash brown casserole was room temperature and soggy. The eggs, I will say were cooked to perfection thankfully but even they were a bit flavorless. Honestly I'm an easy person to please despite what this review may imply and you can see that by my other yelp reviews. But this honestly was one of the worst restaraunt meals I can remember. I wouldn't come back to this location if I had to. I'd rather have a frozen Tyson fritter cooked in the air fryer and potato chips. read more

The best thing about this place is the cornbread muffin! I wish they would give us more than one per person. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mac and cheese, hash brown casserole, and house salad with ranch. I've been to Cracker Barrel lots of times throughout my life but it's never a consistent patronage . I normally go during breakfast hours because I love the pancakes with crispy edges. Anyway the meal I had this time was mid. The breading on the steak was mushy so there was no crunch to the fried steak at all. The flavor was decent, the gravy was really thick too. I couldn't remember if I liked the hash brown casserole or not, after this visit I can say that I will not be ordering this again. The mac and cheese is just like generic restaurant macaroni. The salad was okay, it's pretty hard to mess up salad. It would've been better if it came with eggs or I was even offered some crackers. Our waitress was pleasant, even though she wasn't the best with refilling water. Our food came out fast. It was fairly mild inside the restaurant since it was later on a Sunday evening. So-- have not been here in a while, and unfortunately after tonight, I don't think I'll come back. Cracker Barrel used to have some of the best food in Oklahoma City, everything used to come out hot and fresh. My families meal tonight was not great. We all got the Country fried steak, mashed potatoes (with gravy) and fried okra. The steak had the least amount of gravy about the size of a quarter. The mashed potatoes were cold. And the okra was chewy ( like it had been fried earlier in the day) The pandemic has clearly not done them any favors. There are better restaurants in okc that serve similar items. read more

Horrible experience. Absolutely horrible. We arrived at 1:49pm and it's now 3:19. Food was cold and we still never got all of it even after an hour wait. All the manager, Mike, offered was to make me something else and took off what I sent back because it was super cold. No thanks Mike, I don't have another hour and half of my life to give you. Took zero accountability. I paid $27 for food no one wants to eat. My son ate his because he felt bad for me having to pay for it and didn't tell me u til after we left. This is my review. My husband would give a better rating. We are on 2 weeks driving trip from Southern California to Oklahoma and we are going home now. This is the 3rd Cracker Barrel on this trip. My husband ordered a chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy and he ate every bit of it. I'm tired of those typical breakfast, so I wanted something soupy. They didn't have much of soup selection but I saw Chicken Potpie. I immediately thought of Marie Calendar's chicken potpie. Wrong! Marie Calendar's frozen potpie is even much better than this. Crust was not good at all. I just peeled it off. Creamy part was just salty, yucky texture felt like eating running nose. I had to force myself to eat it cuz I was hungry. I barely ate half of it. Once we were ready to order our waitress Sharon took our order and someone from my party asked for a recommendation and she had gave us a good recommendation and someone from my party took that. I personally ordered the sweet and honey glazed chicken tenders with loaded steaks fries and Mac N' Cheese I thought the food was fabulous the chicken was cooked to perfection and the Mac N Cheese was to die for. Honestly I wouldn't mind coming back to this place . To add to it for 6 people it was only $100.98 which isn't to bad at all Sharon has been very polite during our stay here at the restaurant. I ordered my holiday meal l last week, got a text at 9:45 they were working on my order and to click the link when I got there for pick up. I got there, clicked the link which tells you to tell them where you're parked and vehicle info and they'll be right out. 15 minutes later I'm still waiting so I go in and they tell me oh you have to go around to the back of the building. Drive around to the back and there's a huge line of cars waiting. 20 more minutes later and this line hasn't moved. Ridiculous!! I really can't complain about this Cracker Barrel we had Tim who was the four stars server in a maroon apron which is the highest that you can get! Maroon servers train other servers. I ordered the meatloaf meal. I got the macaroni and cheese, the cucumber onion and tomato salad, and the fried okra. I kind of wish that I could have gotten a smaller helping of each and tried even more, but that's just being picky and liking to try everything on their menu. I don't think that anyone took leftovers home because there wasn't any to take home! We were able to eat as many rolls as we wanted. I had to, they were so delicious. Tim brought plenty of apple butter, as well as any sides or dressings that anyone wanted. The hashbrown casserole is so dry. They were out of mimosas . Eggs, bacon, sausage were okay. I'd choose any other place any day than have dry casserole and limited items. My wife and I visited recently and had a great experience! The host was prompt in greeting and seating us... Our drink order was promptly taken. I ordered ham biscuits with blackberry jelly and a cold apple cider. The biscuits were perfectly fluffy and the ham, salt cured to perfection. You can also choose from sweet ham. Oh Cracker Barrel!!! How I longed to love you. The food has been on a consistent decline but it's the service for me. My most recent visit did me in though. Our sweet waitress looked like she was in a fog as she took our order. When our food came she told us she forgot a few of our items, giggled and then just never returned with them. In fact, I had to ask a manager for the forgotten items which didn't come for another several minutes. When our server came by to ask if we were ready for our check we explained that we were still waiting for our missing items she just laughed and walked away. I don't normally mind waiting when business is especially busy but that was not the case here. Friends, when I tell you this was an unpleasant experience, that is putting it lightly. Darlene delivered excellent service tonight- we were three starving travelers and she noticed no had come by our table after a few minutes and offered to start our drinks. When we told her we were actually ready (and super hungry) she took our order and took care of us all night, checked on us a few times, gave us extra biscuits. All very appreciated! The food itself was superior to the Arizona Cracker Barrel restaurants.
