It really hurts me to write this review because I love Cheddars. This place is one of my favorites when I come home. This most recent time the service was unthinkable and I cant imagine returning. The manager's behavior is what topped everything off. Party of 8 waited 40 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant. Took 20 minutes for our waiter to come to our table. It took forever for our drinks to come and several were wrong orders. The food was good although several orders were wrong. Bad place to go with a bday group. When I called they failed to tell me that they couldn't accommodate so we'd be at 2 tables. Then when I gave a lousey google review, the manager blamed me, said they couldn't always accommodate a larger group. Would have been nice for them to tell me that when I called. Service is okay once you actually get a server! Everytime we come we always wait 10 mins for a server! By the time we got our server (mind you the server we had got took our table out of her section, which was very appreciated!) we already ate our appetizer that we ordered on the kiosk by the way! I had to beg in the comments section. Last time, I didn't get the bourbon sauce. My mashed potatoes were cold. My husband did not get gravy on his country fried steak or mashed potatoes. They upcharged 99 cents for side caesar salad--didn't get it. When you pay $38 (with 20 percent tip, mind you) you expect to get everything you ordered. Saw the reviews before I ate there. The office went there for lunch. I was open minded about the reviews. I had the Country Fried Chicken which was very crunchy and tasty. The mashed potatoes were good and cole slaw was creamy and tasty. The rolls were outstanding. The service was great. It took a very long to get our food due to the amount of people we had. Hadn't had Cheddars in a while. Probably 4-5 years ago I feel like it fell off and got kinda lame so I stopped going, but had a serious craving for a monte cristo so I had to lol ordered online, it was very easy and prices weren't any different from the main menu like some places do. One star is by far and away much too generous for this abysmally run restaurant! Some of the worst service I've had in years! Our drinks arrived with our entrées! Along with the complementary croissants. Server never came back to the table at all during the rest of the meal, in fact, she didn't even expedite the food. Today we were the second booth seated but two sets of people seated after us had their drinks and appetizers brought to their table before we even got a drink or food order taken. I ordered online at 5:30. My order was supposed to be ready at 6pm. I arrived at 6pm, curbside. I provided the young lady with my tax exempt card. After 15 minutes, I called to see what was going on. My food was cold as ice. She said that she was waiting on a manager to approve the purchase. I asked for a complimentary drink and never got one. Eventually, after over 20 minutes of waiting I asked for my card back and provided the cold food back to her and ordered pick up from Chili's. First time to eat at cheddars today. The menu has enough variety I think so you can find something for everyone. Portions are good sized but it is a little pricey but not too bad since the portions are large. I had a full rack of ribs (about $20) it came with two sides as well. I chose the southern green beans and steamed broccoli. I also got a side salad. The salad was quite large for a side salad. A very good value there. Their ranch was very creamy and nice as well. The ribs were tasty and truly fall of the bone. The bbq sauce on them is a bit sweet which I prefer but I know some people prefer other taste. I absolutely love Cheddar's it's my favorite restaurant, however when I tell you I've had the worst experience at the Midwest City location, it was horrible and I won't be going back to that location I'll be going to Yukon. The tables were covered in dirty dishes and cups and leftover food. Even the bar was nasty. The lady "cleaned" it off but moved everything to the far corner for someone else to get and she had a horrible attitude the entire time. I get it was Easter weekend and it was busy but her attitude was one that you could tell she was having a rough day and she was showing in serving. Drinks were great and she warmed up towards the end, however both my boyfriend and I agreed we won't be coming back for awhile and if we do we're going to Yukon. read more
