Prisoners at Guantanamo Bay get better service than we received. I'll preface this by saying it was a packed house for a Seahawks playoff game--so yes, it was busy. That was entirely expected, especially for a rival game against the 49ers. Any competent business plans and staffs accordingly. We arrived and were seated at one of the last tables we had called ahead to reserve. After 30 minutes of watching our section server walk around taking orders and delivering food and drinks to other tables, I finally had to stop her just to ask for water and a menu. Her response was simply that it was really busy. Obviously. But even in a rush, checking in or dropping waters is the bare minimum. As a former server myself, a quick "Hey folks, we're running about X minutes on food, but I can grab drinks" goes a long way in managing expectations. After another 30 minutes, I gave up and went to the bar myself to get drinks. Once halftime hit, I decided to order food to go. That still took an hour, and we didn't receive it until there were about 10 minutes left in the game. To her credit, the server who took the to-go order (a different server) did let me know the kitchen was backed up and followed through--communication that was genuinely appreciated. Throughout the game, I had to return to the bar multiple times to refill our sodas and waters. Our assigned server continued to take orders and deliver food throughout the section, yet not once during the entire game did she stop at our table. Not once. Great menu but the food is not. Prime rib dip was not prime rib it was deli style meat and the amount of meat was so small. For the same price at the top of Tacoma there same sandwich has so much meat on it you can't even finish it. The service was great though. My husband turned 35 and we celebrated his birthday here last night. There was a group of 7 of us and they did an awesome job serving us. Everyone drank long islands and ordered food. I got a chicken Caesar salad which was very good. It overall was a very fun atmosphere and we will be returning in the future. read more

I really do like this place, everyone is so friendly, and those potato skins are the best! However, when I come and sit in the "bar" section, and bring my adult kids, and the server says, can I see your ID and then proceeds to say "we're going to need you to sit in the family section", what??? I said, okay, but why? She said, because they're under age. Uuuhhhh, they're 23, you literally just looked at their ID's! Seriously? Then we asked for a particular beer, she said... what is that? Awful experience. If this place was run right it could be a fun time. Our waitress was extremely over worked and exhausted. The food came out undercooked. We were then man-splained that the way Cheers does it. Basically stating we didn't know how to order a burger. They brought the starter with the main dish. Well that isn't going to work. If you like being over-charged, talked to disrespectfully, and told that if you have a 'problem' - to call the liquor control board, this is your place!! What this place has been, is friendly, attentive, affordable and overall decent. Music is a variety which I love, I don't want to feel that they cater to a particular group of people. Sometimes I hear country other times I hear Spanish music or maybe hip hop. I see a diverse group of people drinking together, watching sports on their many screens and guzzling some yummy drinks their friendly bartenders make for them. So we stopped in the other day after a round of golf, armed with a two for one burgers or sandwiches ad from the local paper, (the ad was the reason we chose this place out of all the other options in the area) and we were STARVING. After sitting down and ordering beverages from our very attentive and friendly server, we started to peruse the menu. Many of the items sounded good, and I was thinking I'd have to come back to give them a taste. However, I settled on a Chicken Mushroom Swiss burger and my golfing buddy decided he wanted a Prime Rib w/Swiss melt. He asked the waitress if he could have au jus to dip the sandwich, and she said it wouldn't be a problem. Off she went to put in the order... While waiting for our food, I surveyed the place, which was almost empty except for the staff, and some people repairing one of the pool tables. The place was clean, comfortable, and they had tons of flat screens playing different sports and programming. I surveyed the bar, and noticed they had quite a bit of high end liquor that I like. I was thinking I'd have to come back in the very near future and imbibe. About this same time, our food came out, and we prepared to eat. My burger was moist, perfectly cooked, and delicious. My amigo's dip was outstanding as well. The fries that came with out meals were piping hot, perfectly salted, and plentiful. I hoovered down my burger without haste, even the waitress commented on how fast I ate everything. It was that good. After a couple more drinks, we were finished, and the waitress came back and asked if we'd like split checks, or just one for the table. We said we have a coupon/ad for BOGO burgers or sandwich, and one check would be fine. This dining experience just turned... After saying that, she informed us the coupon wouldn't be valid in this case because we didn't order the EXACT same sandwich, and you had to do that in order for the coupon to be valid as per the owner's policy. I'll take this time to point out that NOWHERE on the coupon/ad or in the restaurant does it say that. Not in the fine print, not in large print, not with smoke signals, it doesn't say it ANYWHERE. We both sat there in stunned silence, while the waitress apologized profusely for the policy. What kind of owner does that to his employees? Just allows them to blindside the customer with this information and then suffer their wrath? You stay classy. After picking my jaw up off the floor, and contemplating whether or not i wanted to scorch earth this place, I calmly ordered another Chicken Mushroom Swiss burger to go (I came in because of that coupon, and I'll be damned if I wasn't going to use it) the waitress smiled like a Cheshire cat because she knew EXACTLY what I was doing. After we got the to go order, we settled our bill and left. I give this place four stars for the food, but dock it three, and would dock it four if possible, for the shady business practices of the owner. I would've been back time and time again to spend money here, but I refuse to ever step foot in there again, and am posting this review to let all you out there know how the owner operates his business. Stick to Cheers the show and NOT this establishment. This place is only getting one star and the only redeeming quality was our server who was super apologetic and sweet! We walked in and the music (like other reviews state) was like a nightclub. Wicked loud and just so obnoxious as were most of the people in there. It was clearly a real townie spot and since we aren't local to the area we weren't greeted too nicely. We stood in the doorway for a while before anyone said anything to us, then were seated and waited almost thirty minutes before we saw our server again. The table we were at was right by this back door (and a cool fireplace which was what drew us back to that table) where people go in and out to smoke (real nice flavor it adds to your food...gross) so we ended up moving. We grabbed a few apps and a flatbread, the wings were inedible and over seasoned and the flatbread was out of the oven about 20 minutes too early.
