This place is real hit and miss. Sometimes you get a good waitress, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you get good food, sometimes you don't. Example: Had a great waitress but ordered a patty melt. Order came out on toast. Not buttered and not grilled. Really? Have had breakfast there. Everything seems greasy. Other times have had pretty good food but have had to go hunt up a server just to cash out. Seems like they could use a good floor supervisor to oversee things. Yet, the parking lot is often full. We have enjoyed Cheers in the past however I don't think I'll go back. Our visit on a Wednesday was a disaster. Sally ordered the steak dinner that was featured and I had a Chimmi. It seemed that our waitress was having a hard time handling her section even though it did not seem very busy. Our drink order took so long that I was tempted to go to the bar and pick it up. Staying with the theme of the evening our meals took a very long time to come from the kitchen. Sally's steak was semi-edible. It had an off taste as if it was old or mishandled. My meal was a disappointment as well. (OK how much can you expect from a pub Tex-Mex plate?) When we were asked how our dinners were we answered honestly and the manager, Karen, was very accommodating and adjusted our check and apologized. I've been here a few times before and it wasn't bad. The last time I went, which will be the last, I took my staff out for drinks to show them my appreciation for their hard work. I bought them 4 or 5 rounds of drinks. Each of them got a meal and a few drinks on their own. Our waitress Tracey, brought the bill to us and I tipped the standard 20% for slow service, I wanted to be nice about it since the booze bill was decent. She had the nerve to come back up to us and ask: " Was your service bad or something?? You call this a tip?" She said she gets better tips from the drunks at the bar than from us. Wheelchair bound wife took our 3 kids to lunch to celebrate the last day of school. The oldest boy is autistic and will only eat very specific foods so my wife stopped and got him a 6" sub. They say down then waited 20 minutes for a waitress to get a drink order. They waited 45 minutes for the waitress to take a food order, instead the manager came to my wheelchair bound wife and told her they had to leave because my autistic son had "outside food". The manager finally agreed to let my wife put the sub in a to go box so they could stay, then the waitress took their food order. The waitress brought the kids kiddie cups and when my wife asked for full size refills they charged for both drinks. The hamburger came burnt, the fries were old and greasy. They refused to take the burger off the bill and would only cook a new one. 2 1/2 hours lunch from hell with rude staff and manager, crappy food. I love going to Cheers! I live nearby and the food is SUPER tasty for a reasonable price. Tonight, however, my boyfriend and I had to wait for 25 minutes for our appetizer to come out. I have worked as a server for the past 5 years, so I know how difficult it can be to be out of control (if the kitchen is short staffed and food is taking long). I really wished my server would have said something about how the kitchen was behind or at least apologized for the long wait. For a while, I was thinking she just forgot about us. The best time to go here is during the great deals. My mother and I chose to take advantage of their 2-for-1 burrito night. You can order it inside out or regular, beef or beef/bean. Good portion sizes - fills you up and you'll probably have leftovers. Quality isn't the best. A great place for appetizers and drinks though. My most recent visit we had a nice enough waitress. My first review of this place was a little high. We ate here again last Saturday night. My wife's employer had all of the employees and spouses here for dinner. The service was marginal and the food was just adequate. I had the Captains platter which had 2 shrimp, two small grouper fingers and one other small piece of fish for $14.00. The food was just OK but the quantity was really lacking for the price. We have had a very nondescript breakfast here several months ago and I wouldn't do that again either. Love this place the 2 star reviews don't do it justice. Relaxed atmosphere great bartenders and good bands do it for me. They also have trivia and karaoke on certain nights if your into that. Food has always been great for me. To the people who say service is slow this place does get some pretty busy dinner rushes so you will be waiting a bit that's just the nature of the restaurant game. Ok, have been a regular customer for years, have never been any trouble whatsoever, then to be treated like a second class customer , was pressured to move to another table to accommodate a group, was never asked politely, just short statements about how they needed this table. I asked the bartender if we would have been treated this way were we not regular patrons...she said we were asked three times to move and normally they would offer to buy us a drink, but since we were rude, (we were not), and the other group come in every Wednesday nite to play trivia, it was a no go. Now management are saying to our friends that we are rude and immature for posting a complaint.! read more

My wife and I met her brother and his wife and kids at cheers last night for dinner and after eating we were doing karaoke and our server was leaving around 10 and asked us to cash out and she would assign us another server so we did and the total bill was over $200 So after 30 or 45 minutes of waiting on a server I walked across the room to find him and I asked if he was serving our table and he said "yes" and I asked why we weren't getting service and he replied "I thought you would come find me if you needed something " I told him after spending a substantial amount of money that I didn't think it was my place to to come find anyone and that he needed to do his job and come service our table Shortly after the manager came to the table and told me that she didn't like the way I spoke to her employee and asked us to leave ... it was embarrassing and after spending this kind of money she was way out of line but I gladly left and I will happily never go back nor will I suggest this establishment to anyone read more

Don't know what happened to this place. in the past you could rely on decent fare- nothing fancy but now it seems they have forgotten the basics. Had dinner Sunday and ordered the ham special. There is no way on earth any employee in that building had tasted the ham because it was absolutely without any type of flavor whatsoever. with a blindfold you would not have been able to guess it was ham (or even meat). They credited me half the price because I ate the mashed (which were real potatoes and very good) and corn (canned or frozen but fine) I tipped full 20% because it really wasn't server's fault ( but shame on any server who hasn't tried their own restaurant's food) This is the third time Cheers have fallen short on rudimentary things and I'm done with the place. If a restaurant is able to serve something like that without even being aware of it, they lack the pride and interest of engaging in the most rudimentary aspects of the business. Terrible experience...myself and a group of friends went to enjoy some snacks and karaoke..when we were age discriminated against...our group was mainly 17 year olds...we arrived around 9 and we're about to order when we were told we all "have to order a soda and an appetizers each" which we planned on doing anyway. Shortly after that the manager arrived to tell us it's after 9pm and we should have an adult with us and then told us it would be best if we left. So we left. I placed a to-go order of the Santa Fe Spring Rolls. I picked it up on my way home from work. When I arrived home, 25 miles later, I realized my order had a spicy ranch sauce rather than the sweet and sour pineapple sauce that is advertised on their menu. I called and "Kelly" told me I could come back and get some, that "some people prefer the spicy ranch". I explained that is not what the menu says. I ordered it for the sweet and sour sauce to compliment the spicy rolls. She said I could "come back" and get the other sauce. I said I lived 25 miles away. Then she said they were "all out of the sweet and sour sauce". So then I asked why they didn't explain that when I placed the order, and she stated she "didn't know". When I asked for a corporate phone number, she offered to take my name and number and "someone would call". Typical response, but I doubt it. Save yourself the time or be sure to scrutinize the menu and ASK if they are out of items or will be substituting items at their own will, because they sure as heck won't inform you ahead of time!! Outdoor area is pleasant and inside is a true bar with plenty of room for everyone (even on karokee night!). Barely able to even give this place one star. Started out with a nice waitress. My red wine had no flavor at all. I am sure it was the cheapest wine you could find, yet it was $6.50. My husband and I split the special "shredded steak burrito." We were not able to have "double rice" according to the waitress because the beans and rice "had to be the order because it was the special of the day... No substitutions". Honestly do not know any restaurant these days who have this policy! It took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive to the table. I looked around me, and out of 7 tables, only one had food. The sauce on the burrito was awful. It must have come from a can or flavor packet. Never a good sign when sauces speak louder than the fresh flavors of the food. Meandering molasses!! Nine ladies taking a break from office to celebrate a coworkers birthday with lunch. Had to chase an annoyed waitress into the kitchen to get her to stop long enough to take our order. Simple stuff...salads and wraps. After 30 minutes, we asked for 'to go' containers, then paid for our food that had not yet arrived. When food finally arrived, it was above average and quantity plentiful. We went during an off hour a several weeks ago, after the lunch rush and before dinner, we were the only table there, After waiting 10 minutes to have a waitress acknowledge us, we put in our drink order and waited. And waited. We got there and right away our server took our drink order and they came back pretty fast, we got cokes with grenadine and they were spot on. Then it was time to order our meal. I get chicken alfredo everywhere I go and seen it on the menu and knew right away what I was going to order. My plate arrived and I took a bite right away. At first it wasn't took bad, the sauce had tasted like they had just gone to the store and bought a regular ol' can of alfredo sauce. I figured it would be okay, I'd just throw in some salt and pepper. As I kept eating, it just got worse and worse. I kept biting into these little chewy chunks that I couldn't quite figure out what they were at first, and then it hit me... I was biting into chunks of garlic gloves! The more I ate the more garlicy my food got. There was so much garlic in my food that some bites would literally burn my mouth just like eating raw garlic does. I managed to eat about half of my food before all the garlic literally made me feel sick to my stomach, I was actually worried that I might throw up from it. My boyfriend, had wanted me to eat more considering it was like $13 I'm pretty sure and I just couldn't do it. By the time we walked out of the place, my boyfriend couldn't even stand to have me talk to him because my breath wreaked of garlic so intensely. I will never order this again. It was probably the worst experience I have ever had eating out at a restaurant. On the bright side, I have eaten their chicken tenders and fries, and they have one of the best chicken tenders I have ever had, delicious! read more

My husband and I have been to Cheers twice and both times we were pleased. The atmosphere is unique--a place you could go with your parents or friends. It is older but clean. The menu is vast and they have quite a variety. I would say it ranges from about $8-$12 for most items. We have had the wet burritos, quesadillas and goulash--everything was very good. Make sure to check their specials! For example: Mondays are buy one, get one free wet burritos. They also have a nice big patio if you are looking to eat outside. read more

I'm not sure what it is about this place, but they always take a very long time in the kitchen. A little background to this statement, I've been here many times. Usually it's to eat with some of my older relatives, or to grab some cheap kids meals for my younger cousins. Which is what I think this restaurant is best for. It's got some bland food, and is definitely aimed towards an older audience. But it's main service is to be some nice background noise and eats to sit down with relatives. Especially since the food takes a while. However, this also hinders them. As many dishes are just left in the window for a while and sandwiches come out as soggy in my experience more often than not. It also seems as if some of the staff don't care, and take time to sit down to chat instead of getting cooked food from the window, checking in with guests and more. Overall it's a nice place to sit and eat. However, I wouldn't ever crave it or consciously choose to go to Cheers. I can see the appeal though. read more

I usually have a great time at Cheers, but tonight was not. Took us over an hour to receive our food which were appetizers. The tables around us that came after received their food before us. The manager told us that the kitchen was backed up. We all just ordered nachos. Pretty simple to make. Asked to be comped which she told us she would give us 1 free dessert (there were 3 of us dining). We have ate here several times hoping that it would be good. To put it simply: Don't waste your money. It's been just awful all three times. The servers are nice enough (sometimes inept though) but the food is garbage. A gyro served on a oversized tortilla?? Alfredo sauce seasoned so badly it was not palatable? Frozen preformed burgers?? I love this place. I go regularly for karaoke, and the servers there are all so friendly. I ordered a chicken dish off the menu once, and it really wasn't so great, but anything fried, they have it on lock. They have the best onion rings!!! My husbands family and I were regulars at cheers never had many issues with the staff. We went out last Wednesday and it was seat yourself so we sat at a table and ordered drinks and food to go. One of the managers Rachel came up at 6:00 and said hey guys so this table is reserved at 6:30 so can we slide you to another table? We said well we should be done by then we just ordered one more drink. Not even 10 minutes later she said ok so can I slide you over? We said we are just going to grab our tab. So now we are annoyed bc she was being super pushy but we didn't say anything. The people that were there for the reservation said they had more people coming and Rachel said loudly your table is right there and pointed at our table where we were sitting. I thought this was extremely rude not to mention there was 7 open tables right next to us and they could have easily rearranged it so they didn't have to move us. Then like 5 minutes to 630 the bartender came to us and said can we move you now and said you need to move bc this table is reserved at 630 and someone ordered another drink. My mother in law did order one more drink bc she was going to sit at the bar bc I was leaving and I had my son with me. The bartender moved the high chair to the other table and I left. I can't believe how rude they were especially with the number of open tables you take an open table first over moving customers! Needless to say will not be returning for a very long time if ever. read more

I can't give it a lower rating than one star because the site will not let me. I ordered fish. The first time the fish came out is was hard rubbery and UNCOOKED. I asked the waiteress to have them put it on the fire a little longer and tne next time it came out it was half size and still uncooked. Told them to forget it after that. Went for lunch today and ordered the Sante Fe Chicken Salad. I asked for no chicken on the salad. I received the bill and no deduction for the chicken. I asked the waitress if they could deduct something since there was no chicken on my salad. She spoke with the manager and was told that I would need to pay full price. Hubby and I went to this restaurant last night. We sat in a booth, and we sat, and we sat, and we sat. At least 3 or 4 waitresses entered the room and glanced at us, but nary a one offered us a placemat or a menu. After about 10 minutes, a family of 4 came and sat right in the next booth. Bam! a waitress was there with placemats and menus immediately! We watched as she got their drinks and came back to take their order. Finally, I stood up and approached a waitress at and asked her why these people were offered services immediately while we had been setting there 10 minutes and still hadn't been offered any service at all. Needless to say, we were on our way out the door, because it was obvious our booth was invisible. read more
