I came into Cheesecake Dreamations expecting dessert. I left questioning whether I had briefly ascended into a higher plane of existence. The cheesecake was so good I had to sit in silence for a minute and reevaluate every life choice that led me to lesser cheesecakes. Creamy, rich, perfectly balanced, and somehow emotionally supportive. I'm pretty sure one bite repaired my credit score. The staff were unbelievably kind too. They treated me like I was a long-lost cousin returning from war with important cheesecake-related news. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and smelled like happiness and butter. At this point I don't even think this place is a bakery. I think it's a public service. If Cheesecake Dreamations ever starts a loyalty program, I will accidentally achieve platinum status by Thursday. read more

Was visiting the area and the search engine gods from reddit/google said that this was a dessert spot that was not to be missed. I was so happy they were open on NYE because it was a good stop along the way back up to SF. They had reduced hours, but they posted it on Yelp and IG - so I didn't have that "will they, won't they" anxiety of whether they'd actually be open on a holiday. The cheesecake selection was pretty good - about 12 different flavors. The cheesecake texture is softer and more of a whipped consistency rather than a dense cheesecake, which I definitely prefer. This is a grab and go counter, though you could technically stay and eat it there since there was some seating. I grabbed a dozen and took them to a NYE potluck that day and folks said they really enjoyed it. Would recommend getting the plain, ube, and pass on the key lime (but thats just IMO). read more

OMG these cheesecakes are delish!!! I can't believe this is my first time trying these. My daughter brought some home twice but never had a chance to try them until now. Sweetness level and added flavoring was perfect. Too perfect that one piece leaves you wanting for more! So far I've tried the original and caramel pecan and both were just perfect! We got lemon, chocolate, caramel, Oreo, original with raspberry, and original with raspberry with an Oreo base. The lemon and raspberry with Oreo base were my favorites and my husband's was the caramel. You can tell they are fresh and have amazing flavor. I have been there a handful of times at this point - and I love the workers there. I remember one time I had Door dashed a grilled cheese from this place for some reason and I got a call from them checking in when I was late for pickup since the food was getting cold. I really appreciate the detail to customer service. I have ordered a couple custom orders of Ube cheesecake from them, both minis and a 6 inch cake. It was a smooth process and I love their Ube flavor personally. One of the few places here that I feel does Ube justice. I have also tried their fried cheesecake...egg rolls? I'm not sure what they are called but basically imagine an egg roll casing filled with delicious cheesecake filling. I would highly recommend them! I have also tried and recommend the following mini flavors: Caramel Pecan Pumpkin Oreo Snickerdoodle Raspberry Swirl on Graham Crust Lemon They also have keto options - I always see them but haven't tried them personally. I feel like the minis are the most flavorful compared to getting a large cake but both are good in general. Still waiting to try more of their savory food but I'm sure they are great. On the location, it's really cute inside, a good amount of seating, and a big Connect 4 for people to play - I feel like it would be a good place for a hangout but I'm always doing a pick up and run. read more

Apparently the cake wasn't made by Cheesecake Dreamations? I don't know. The owner messaged me instructing me to remove my review because they didn't make that particular dessert. But the cake was sold in their storefront, it was presented by the hostess as another one of their offerings. It was never mentioned that some desserts in the same store are sold by different companies, no signage, no nothing, that's deception. So if nothing else, Cheesecake Dreamations gets a negative review for deceiving their customers, and for that, I won't be back. Good little spot for cheesecake lovers that want a quick bite. The mini cheesecakes are a bit expensive for the size at $3/each, but they taste good and will satisfy any craving you might have. We got three flavors and would have gotten four if they hadn't run our of the their key lime pie. We ended up with a caramel pecan, lemon, and raspberry swirl on graham cracker crusts. Fav was the caramel pecan as it had the greatest depth of flavor. Lemon wasn't very tart and the color looked a bit artificial. I have been meaning to come here for years, literally years... I just don't come out to Marina too often. Staff was very friendly and helpful. She was patient with me while I kept adding to my order. Seems like they get a lot of regulars, fun environment. Though the music was not family friendly at all, every other word was cussing. I didn't say anything, thinking my kids didn't notice... but they said something after we left. Ordered a baked potato, just with cheese and bacon. It was HUGE! My family loved it, was a perfect size to share. Now we ordered a few ahead of time, but they have the minis in the window, staring at you, just forcing you to order more... Raspberry swirl and Oreo were probably the favorites! Dreamsicle gets a high score too for being unique! I also ordered a gluten free teaser 4" cake. I wouldn't order it again. With the additional gf up costs (I get it, gf is more expensive) it ended up being too expensive for what you get. The crust isn't very good... it wasn't graham cracker, I think it was almond. It just lacked flavor, I ended up just eating the cheesecake part on top, which was amazing! I think in the future I'd ask for a crustless cake if that was an option. Snickerdoodle was very very cinnamon-y, lil heavy handed on cinnamon. Confetti one tasted very odd and fake flavor. My daughter said it tasted like it wasn't fresh like it's been sitting for a while. All very tasty, and luckily not too sweet! I will say these are more on the creamier side and should be either eaten right away or brought home to be chilled.
