To start the service was very great, nice and friendly, the place was clean. The cheesesteak 1st of all had a very lightly toasted Amorosa Roll that was toasted to perfection, just a little crunch, the onions were cut very thin and transparent and the steak had excellent flavor!! I had a cheesesteak and it was just ok. For $14 (combo meal) there was way more bread than meat. Not a good value for the $.

We walked in and had already decided what we wanted. We got the buffalo chicken cheesesteak it was 9.95 plus the 2.50 for the combo already at 12 dollars for the meal. The man keep pushing on us to get extra things on our cheesesteaks and to get chili cheese fries. He was very pushy and persistent on what he thought us to get. During the order on the screen on the register you could not see how much it adds for every little extra thing you get. Our order ended up being 40 dollars for two people. I was greatly dissappointed with a very rude response I received from the owner. I complained about pricing issues, she assured me that this was not correct. I mentioned a zealous amount of salt used on my sandwich, she quickly advised, with fever that they do not use salt. I was attempting to help her as a business owner and, she was apparently NOT having it. I always attempt to support local, small business.But when an owner refuses to at least acknowledge advise, they are doomed! Hope things improve. $9.95 for a Philly Cheesesteak with "Angus beef". That was not angus beef unless it's the cheapest on the market. Tasted like the old school steakums that 2 thin slices & the wax paper between them . $2.95 for combo option plus $1.50 up charge for onion rings to be added. Then $2.25 for a side of fries. Fries not golden as all the pictures. Onion rings are like the box you get from Sam's Wholesale. Nothing special about them. I guess I will continue to make my own Cheesesteak until I go up North and get a real one. They should take the Philly name off of the name. Nothing like a Philly Cheesesteak. There food is really good, and they go above and beyond. We recently ordered from there and a few things were missing from our sandwiches, and our drinks was a little flat. After leaving feedback on their online order not only did we get a call from the owner, but the store manager and they remade our order and brought it to us. They both genuinely apologized and although they didnt have to remake our order we greatly appreciate it. Its nice to know that they strive on satisfied customers. I hate to even give a bad review because the two times I have eaten there the food was good. However, this last time I visited, one of the cooks came into the restroom and used the stall beside me. As I was washing my hands he then spoke as he walked out - without washing his own hands before returning to the kitchen. I would have said something to the girl upfront but she was busy with customers. I then called up there to let them know but I believe it was that same guy that answered the phone. Now, it is possible there is a sink in the kitchen that they use to wash their hands or they may wear gloves before handling the food- that part I do not know. read more

I usually go into the restaurant for my food and it is pretty good but tonight I decided to get delivery. Big mistake. After waiting a vary long time and no delivery I called the restaurant to inquire what was happening to my order. The girl who answered had no idea where my food was but said if it didn't arrive in ten minutes to call her back. After about ten minutes someone called and wanted to get my address. Apparently the driver they used didn't have a cell phone or GPS and went to the wrong address. By the time he arrived at my home the food was cold. I refused delivery and called the restaurant to complain they only said they would credit my charge back. I would not recommend you use their delivery service it's awful. read more

It took almost 45 minutes for them and they were mediocre at best, I inquired after about 20 minutes and was told they would be right out. Another 10 minutes go by and then I was told that they had a large order and it was almost ready. It still took another 15 minutes for my order, when it finally came I got no apologies or anything. Would not order from them again. The food is decent, but I ordered a simple burger and a salad and it took close to 3 hours to be delivered to me (I live two intersections away). The delivery person was rude, and inquired if I called the store because she was taking too long as if she was offended and annoyed. Then proceeded to ask me how much change I needed back, as if I wanted to tip her for such poor service. My food was cold and my order was wrong. I called the next day & asked to speak to a manager and was told there is no manager, and a front desk person told me she guess she's the manager. This was my last straw with Cheesecake U.
