BREAKING NEWS from Peaches Corner in Myrtle Beach , South Carolina ! The Bruiser is coming back. The Bruiser is a Bacon Wrapped Footlong Hotdog deep fried with Chili and Cheese on a Hotdog Bun. It was removed from the menu about 5 years ago and will be returning soon due to so many asking for it. I got to sample one of the test runs. We all gave some suggestions and they will be trying a few variations to see what will be added to the menu. They are also looking at a Breakfast Sandwich that I'm sure would be a hit. Also a new Hamburger that I think will be a great seller. None of these are on the menu just yet , so keep an eye out. They are also looking at adding a few other items to the menu. Peaches Corner has been in business since 1937 before Myrtle Beach was even incorporated in 1938. Wow ! If you check out the counter top you will see pictures of the history of Myrtle Beach covering it. The Pavilion , Magic Attic , Amusement Rides , Beauty Contests , Sun Fun Festival , Alabama , old Cars , Old Buildings , a step back in time. Peaches Corner is known for its World Famous Footlong Hotdogs and Hamburger Baskets. Service was TERRIBLE. We came in on a Tuesday late afternoon. Sat in the first booth. Some lady that's been working there 40 years (she said) was waiting on people. She got to at least 3 other tables and the people that came in with us (other half of our group) was waited on, had food, and a refill before we even had our order taken. Also overly expensive too. $60 for 3 sodas, one foot long coney, a cheeseburger, and side order of fries for our kid. read more

I'm sorry but I can't say much nice stuff except their fries are good and servers are nice. Not enough for me to give a higher rating than this because ilI think it's a click bait for tourists. You think you're saving but you're not. Rather go in a fast food chain and save 200%. It's located nicely near the boardwalk and the sign says "world famous" food basket and footlong. That got us. I can say they're not true. Food not good for a high price, walk less than 5 minutes mall at the nearest high rise hotel you see, they have much better food there. It's a closed building but the doors are always open like al fresco, so you have to shooo some flies away while eating. Decided to take a walk down the Myrtle Beach strip. At the last minute wanted to get a funnel cake late at night. To our delight, Peaches Corner was still open and had funnel cake fries. They were piping hot and delicious! The cashier was super nice. The place is a really cute counter top style restaurant with open doors. This is the first time going to Peaches. The draw for me to go was that it is a long standing restaurant in Myrtle Beach. I found the food to be average along with the service and restaurant. I will say that the food although average is somewhat expensive. If you're looking to be a part of the old Myrtle Beach this is a must but not much more than that. read more

Food was terrible. The hot dogs were - off color- the chili was legit cold. We waited over 30 minutes in a not busy restaurant. Cheese fries were hot and okay. The kids liked the funnel fries. My friend wanted to go to this place and it was not worth it. The place is small and empty so that should have been a sign not to eat there. The menu was very limited and the service was not helpful. Also, they did not let us order free water they only had water despite them having a drink fountain. The burger itself was just ok and the fries were good. The food is expensive and not worth seeing how other places around you can get more for your buck. If anything it is convenient but not good so I would not go back. read more

We sat down and we ordered 2 separate things, The chicken tender basket and a hotdog, somehow the total came out to be $27.98, and that's without drinks. The tenders were alright but could have been better, the fry's were good but the cheese makes them soggy pretty quickly. Unfortunately there were three different type of tax added to the bill, Local/State/random tax. And that's without tip. Good place to eat alone but with a few people it gets expensive real quick. Additional cost for fries and onion rings. Location was on the corner off the boardwalk without an ocean view, which was okay since it's a cute, vintage style snack restaurant. Good food, good service, but I will NEVER go back. Walking around seeing all types of cute little shops and places to eat. We decided to stop here. Everything was great, except... After we placed our order, the young lady tells us, OK before anything you have to pay for the order in full (on her little tablet). To make this insult worse, she then points to the tipping area says feel free to choose any of these 18, 20, 22, or of course, no tip. I was frustrating being put on the spot there in front of the young lady who is just trying to do her job. I've gotten a little to no service at this time. No food yet. I'm supposed to send a tip ahead of time. Basically even if I get bad service, I always tip usually 20%. So I chose my usual 20% out of frustration, and I mentioned to her this is Not right, because great service deserves great tips and I'm just gonna give you my minimum at this point. It was hot and I downed my first beer with no hesitation. But guess what, I never ordered another one, I was already frustrated. Thankfully, the iced tea my wife was having had free refills so we finished the meal on that. Like I said food was good. Service was good. But I will never go back. If I would've known this to begin with, I would've kept walking. Maybe this doesn't bother you so go right ahead. But it bothers me. Awesome burger, juicy and thin double beef patties with melty cheese and seasoned fries! My wife got a barbecue plate that was also great. Service was nice and reasonably fast considering the other customers in the shop were rude and difficult for our server and the cook. I rain storm hit while my group was at the beach and everyone was a bit hungry once we got inside mid Afternoon. I volunteered to go to Peaches to pick up some nourishment. The woman who took my order was friendly and very patient as I read through our group's order and handled last minute substitutions when they were out of something (apparently, some of the online menus are outdated). Our order for 7 was ready in less than 10 minutes. Very impressive. Our order broke down like this: Hot dogs - Footlong and "short" were all good. Their chili has a strong tomato flavor and the hot dog itself has good flavor Burgers - Well-received Fries - Tasty and well-seasoned Fried pickles - Very good. With ranch, even better! Onion Rings - The super star! Our group loved the onion rings. Crispy and flavorful. I'd definitely recommend Peaches Corner as a stop for a bite to eat while at Myrtle Beach. read more

My fellow yelpers, I got ya covered. I cannot recommend this spot unless you're leaving an after hrs spot and just need to fuel up. We had the spicy chicken, burger, short hot dog, and corn dog. The menu could use some updating. The food was very very underwhelming. They also forgot two of our party's food, and they don't have refills on drinks (fyi). Sorry, just wasn't good. Also, the manager was very rude to his staff who was on their first day. They shouldn't be treating staff like that in front of the whole restaurant or at all, pull them to the side. read more

Too much sugar. We used a spoon to scrape off the sugar. At the end, the small tray had a pile of pink sugar in it. They were tasty without all the sugar. What can you say, it's Peaches. The food? Frozen, low end bar food. Whether it's the meat, ketchup or bun, it will be the lowest/cheapest quality off the Monarch truck. Good?No. Edible? Yes. The service? Well, it's hit or miss. Our waitress, a younger woman, was grossly overwhelmed with just the handful of patrons in Nov. She was very pleasant, but was quite verbal she was exhausted at just 1pm and "was doing the best she can". Makes me really wonder for the younger generation when having 4-5 tables has maxed out their working capacity two hours from opening. You do pay and have to "guilt tip" when you order. I guess this "is what it is". The food is pricey for the quality, but not out of the norm for the location. Ambience, this is what keeps me going. It's the perfect view of the main strip. It's classic. You question the likely millions of people that have been thru their doors in the 80 years. If the walls could talk. I visited as a kid, now at almost 50, I still feel like a kid when I sit in a booth. I wax poetic. I saw this place driving by in my way to photograph Pier 14. I saw the sign that said "world famous foot long hotdog", and had to try it. They have a typical American menu; hotdogs, burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. Service was great. The young lady that helped me was extremely nice and kept up with me several times during my time there. The place is rather small. If you're sitting at the bar, there not much room for someone else to walk behind you. If you're like me and don't like people touching you, sit at one of the small booths. As for the hot dog??? The ambiance is like an old diner. They only get two stars. One for the food and one for the customer service. The waitress was nice enough. The menu is deceiving. We went in specifically to get the hand dipped corn dog. It is clearly not hand dipped, and the hot dog was cold. The flavor was ok if you wanted a frozen corn dog.
