We ventured here from a referral from someone over at SUU. We went on Thursday and went again today (Saturday). On Thursday, we ordered Nonna's salad, the Pollo Bianco pizza, and the Nutella Piegato. The salad is large enough to feed 4 people. The pizza was good (our server recommended adding grapes, and it's a great idea). The Nutella Piegato was amazing. The ends were kind of tough, but we made our way through. Our guests had the Dolce Diavola Pizza and the Pollo Rustico Pizza. My husband tried and really liked the Dolce Diavola pizza and couldn't wait to return. Our server was wonderful, thorough, and knowledgeable. Saturday, we ordered the Cesar Salad, Dolce Diavola Pizza, a Margherita Pizza, and the Nutella Piegato. Our guests ordered the House Rustic Bread, Nonna's Famous Meatballs, and a Cheese and half chicken pizza. It's not as smooth of a visit this time around. Our guest had to wait some time for their pizza after we all got our food. Then our dessert was taking so long that we almost canceled it. I'm not as impressed today. I guess I'm more busy due to being a weekend, maybe, not sure. The food was good. My husband was happy to have the pizza he wanted and said it was amazing! The dining experience was nice, not too bright, and not too loud. And I'd like to add - a server should never assume one or the other in a party is paying. The check was given directly to my husband, to which he replied, "She's paying for it," and he handed it to me. That's not a good look!

Dinner here was delicious! We loved the modern rustic atmosphere, which felt warm and inviting. The staff were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. We started with the burrata, followed by the fennel sausage pizza and the Dolce Diavola pizza, and everything was fantastic. A thoughtful touch was that they brought our kids cheese and grapes on the house while we waited for our food, which was greatly appreciated and helped keep them happy. They enjoyed their kids cheese pizza as well. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere--we'll definitely be back.

This place was absolutely phenomenal!! I highly suggest it to anyone in the area. The wait time for two people on a Friday night was about an hour which was not bad at all we both went in expecting a longer wait time. The staff is so friendly! Our server was Remy and she was fantastic!!!!!!! she even took the time to give us some activity suggestions in the area since we are traveling so look out for her!. The food itself was delicious the meatballs were soft and moist and the sauce was smooth, well seasoned and just wonderful. The pizza was one of the best ive ever had the chicken was still moist even having been cooked and the bread of the pizza was cooked perfectly. After being seating we waited no more than 10 minutes for the starter to come out and the pizza came out shortly after. Overall just amazing. The food The service and the area!!!!! also I recommend the apple beer!!!

    Fennel Sausage Pizza

This was one of the best places I dined during my visit to Cedar City, Utah. I came with a group of friends and we ordered two wood fired pizzas and two large salads with several adult beverages. I ordered the Fennel Sausage Pizza, which came with "Hand crushed tomato sauce, house made fennel sausage, aged and smoked mozzarella, parmigiano-reggiano." (Centro Woodfired Pizzeria, 2026). It was a delicious pizza. The crust was very well made with a light crispiness and a good chew. The sauce offered a great balance between acidity and sweetness. The fennel sausage was good, but it was noticeably missing that great fennel flavor. It was very subtle and missing the actual fennel seeds in the sausage, that I am accustomed too. Overall, it was a great pizza and I would order it again. The arugula salad that I ordered was on point. It came with a generous amount of fresh arugula, shaved Parmesan cheese, sliced prosciutto, and a delicious house made lemon basil vinaigrette. All the flavors played well together. I liked that they did not over dress the salad, which allowed the other flavors to independently shine. I would certainly order this salad again. My friends ordered the Gorgonzola Salad, which was also great. They certainly did not hold back on the cheese and bacon. They also ordered a custom pie. They loved it. The service was quite welcoming and amiable. I liked the conversation and positive attitudes of the employees. They offer comfortable inside seating. This place is definitely worth the visit when one is in town.

Centro Woodfired Pizzeria is an absolute must-stop in Cedar City -- and yes, they're dog friendly! We started with the bruschetta and the arugula salad, both fresh and perfectly done. But the highlight of the night was the Dolce Diavola pizza. Our server steered us toward it and they could not have been more right -- it was delicious from the first bite to the last. You can taste the difference that their woodfired oven and handcrafted dough make. Light, flavorful, and nothing like the heavy chain pizza you might be used to. Whether you're coming for the pizza, the starters, or the salads, Centro delivers on all fronts. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff clearly takes pride in what they put on the table. Do yourself a favor and stop in -- you won't regret it!

Great meatballs, Apricot salad and thin crust pizzas. We had the spicy pizza with thinly sliced chilli peppers and lightly drizzled with honey. The artichoke pizza was my least favorite. Did not think artichoke was a good topping. Freshly baked pies and brought to the table. Can't go much wrong with pizzas.

While traveling from Springdale to Brian Head this past week, I started scouring Yelp for a spot to stop for lunch and came across Centro Woodfired Pizzeria. I wasn't even particularly in the mood for pizza but the reviews were so good and pizza is near the top of our 6-year-old's personal food pyramid so we decided to give it a go. We were greeted and seated straight away. It was midweek and fairly early, not quite lunchtime, so the dining room was quiet. Conner was our server and right off the bat he set the tone for a great lunch - he was super friendly, offered drink and food suggestions and starting bringing everything out promptly. Being from San Diego we're not used to the local beers being strictly 5% ABV and under, but they also had some canned options from other places with ABV's that exceed the state limitations (yay!). We ordered our drinks and Conner gave us the rundown on the menu, offering his recommendations, some of which we ran with - the Artichoke Rosso, as well as a Pancetta & Grape, and small kid's pepperoni pizza. The pizzas came out quickly, hot and freshly fired. I personally don't mind the char spots on the crust, but they do offer a "blonde" option for those option for a lesser charred crust, which I thought was cool. As far as the pizzas go, 10/10 no notes. Our daughter polished off her personal pizza with nothing left but some of the crust. We ate at least half of both pizzas we ordered - the Artichoke Rosso (Conner's #1 recommendation) had dollops of seriously some of the best pizza sauce I'd ever tasted. It wasn't too acidic or "tomato-y," but had the perfect balanced blend of ripened tomatoes and spices. I probably could've drank a side of it. The Pancetta & Grape pizza was also good, a nice blend of salty and sweet. I wasn't sure how grapes would fare in a wood fired oven but they maintained their crisp "snap" and lent a sweet finish to the salty pancetta and cheese. Since it was still pretty quiet, Conner was nice enough to engage with us while I asked him questions about the area, places to see and things to do, etc. We left with at least a combined 3/4 of a pizza for the next day, and our bill was reasonable. My husband doesn't usually like to be a repeat visitor to eateries when we travel, he'd rather try someplace new each time, but we both agreed we would definitely stop in again should we be back in the Cedar City area. Worth a stop, for sure!

Wonderful service and knowledgeable staff. Hand-made pizza dough and delicious wood fried pizza - you can customize your topping. Or half and half - Strongly recommended

Another beautiful restaurant in Cedar city, UT. There was some wait time for people who came in groups but it was not too long. Since it's just me, I got in real quick. I tried their wood fired pizza. I want to try couple of different style pizzas so I went with 1/2 Margherita & 1/2 Dolce Diavola. I really enjoyed Dolce Diavola. It was spicy (because of jalapeños) and it tasted very unique. Margherita one was okay imo. Staffs were very helpful.

Dropped in as a solo diner while passing through the area and was very impressed by this find. Casual yet upscale vibe with impeccable service and quality menu. My waiter was named Christian, and he really took the time to have a friendly chat and to give me all the details about my order. I went with the artichoke pizza which was pretty great except I did regret adding chicken as it was a tad dry. The crust, sauce, cheese, and artichoke were all delicious, however. They say their pizzas are made for one person, however it's 6 generous slices, so I couldn't finish it solo. They have a bar with a solid wine list, which isn't always easy to find in Utah. If ever in Cedar City again, I would not hesitate to come back!

Great food, nice ambiance, excellent service. The artichoke pizza and Nonnie's salad were excellent. I highly recommend this place.

We have been stopping here for 8 years on our way to Mesa Arizona from Montana! Not only is it good service, EVERY TIME, the food and our favorite Gorgonzola salad is top notch each time we order it! We really like the bar side ambiance which is perfect for a nice evening! Stop in and try it!! Best of the Best!!

This place is awesome! We ordered half Brooklyn Cheese, and half Dolce Diavola. My friend wanted cheese and I wanted the spice. Kieran was great with the food and beverage recommendations and the patio was awesome! I'm absolutely coming back the next time I'm driving through Cedar. And a freaking tank drove by!

    Nonna's salad is so bomb!

Are reservations necessary for lunch? Thank you. We live in StG and want to take out-of-town guests up for lunch

No. They accommodate all walk-ins. Lunch time is less busy than dinner time anyway. Order the Nutella piegato -- you won't be sorry!

Are there gluten free and dairy free options?

They have a plant-based cheese option and it's really good. Can't tell you about the gluten-free though.

    Are dogs allowed?

Dog are allowed on the patio and sidewalk seating areas :)

    Are there any vegan options?

Yes!! They have vegan cheese and you can substitute any meat for any veggie! And original crusts are even vegan!

Has anyone had their gluten free pizza? Is it good?

Yes, we have only eaten their gluten free pizza at Centro. It's not bad, better than the typical gluten free. And they will make it with any of the toppings you want. I've never experienced cross-contamination symptoms.

Is there a gluten free crust?

    Yes, and it's delicious!

    Open on sunday?

Centro IS open on Sundays now!!

We wanted to be on the window side but all were taken except the bigger tables at the end on each side. There were quite a lot of varieties on the menu. Since we were not too hungry, we decided to skip appetizers and salads or soups. My husband ordered Vongole pasta with white wine sauce and at my husband's prodding, I went for lamb chops as he knows I love it. The lady server brought us some toasted focaccia slices while we waited for our orders to arrive. It did not take long. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the white wine sauce with clams were fresh with added chopped canned clams. Since this is one of our favorite pasta dishes, our standard is quite high. It was missing some flavor and more wine should have been added. As for the lamb chops, I ordered medium but no blood "pink" which was done right. I did not want to say medium rare as there's always a mishap when I do that. Despite of medium rare, the chops were tough and disappointingly bland. Without the brown gravy, it would have been a total tasteless piece of ordinary meat. It came with 4 ribs and sides of mashed potatoes and 2 fat sticks of asparagus. I ordered lava chocolate cake with ice cream on top for dessert and it was gratifying but would have lovelier if the lava was warmer enough. It arrived too quickly so it must be pre-made. Their lamb chops definitely needs some improvements on taste. I did not have the heart to complain and send my chops back to the kitchen. The server was efficient and sweet. I only ate 2 pieces of the chops and left 2 pcs. For foodies, it's not a place that you go back to. My rating would be 5 for the service, 4 for the pasta, 3 for the lamb chops and 4 for dessert. So, 4 stars overall and it is quite generous.

I've been working my way through Cedar City's gyro offerings this year. This is #4 I've tried. He reported that his pizza was perfect and tasted exactly as expected (& anticipated). My Gyro pizza naturally tasted just like a gyro should. It comes with all the standard gyro ingredients: spiced gyro meat, red onion on a pizza crust coated with red sauce and light mozzarella. The pizza-y sauce and mozzarella stayed in the background and let the greek side takeover. The feta cheese, tzatziki sauce and fresh tomatoes are added on top after baking. I asked for no tomatoes (don't like them fresh/uncooked). After 2 pieces I had my fill of the gyro pizza. I was losing track of the individual gyro flavors by that time. (I think I had the same flavor overload while trying the Greek pizza). Hope it will reheat well tomorrow but there might be a culinary reason they wait to put the tzatziki sauce & feta on after baking. The pizza crust here is as good as a pita to carry the greek gyro fixings to my mouth. Always have encountered friendly staff here and Kenedy P at the counter was efficient in taking our order. Love the little outdoor patio since we usually bring our dog. Wow they are ready to cook a lot of pizzas with all the firewood that's stacked up there! Yum yum. The only "service" was them bringing the food to our table and ringing us up. That's it.
