Sweet and sour pork - also served with a huge plate of rice. So good!!

Ordered the sweet and sour pork (korean-style) and the "char chang mien" or jjajangmyun (I've seen it romanized the latter way) Jjajangmyun for those not familiar is a Korean-Chinese dish - it has thick noodles with a black bean sauce (the sauce for the basic version has stir-fried pork, zucchini, and onions and sometimes potatoes, but no in this one). IT'S SO CARBY AND ONIONY AND DELICIOUS. I used to get cravings for it when I lived in VA, and the place up there is on par with the one here (which surprised me, because Columbus). The sweet and sour pork "korean-style" is small pieces of pork fried in a delicious crunchy batter. I've had it before a few times and never really cared for it, but I wanted to give it another chance because I've heard that it's really good. The sweet and sour pork here was the best I've ever had. The only con was that the pork was a little dry, but the sauce was so delicious. It was sweet, but not without flavor (you could taste the ginger) and it was a good portion. Next on the list to try is the jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup). I hope it's as good as the other dishes I've tried from here!

My husband and have been on the search for a good Chinese place since moving to the area. I think we can stop the search. We dined in. The plates were served 'Family' style. That makes it pleasant to share different items. We got the General Tso's Chicken and the Mongolian Beef. Along with the House fried rice. The rice didn't have veggies in it, just egg, but it was fine. The Chicken was very good. Not so spicy at first but it creeps up on you. Yummy. It was the first time I've had Mongolian Beef but I will definitely look forward to it again. The Crab Rangoon was good and the vegetable egg rolls were good as well. I'm getting a to-go menu as I leave. .. If you like veggies in your rice, then get shrimp, pork or chicken and it will have veggies. Moderately priced. I felt it was worth it.

I've been here for lunch 4 times now. I waited to see if it was consistent before giving a review. It has been very consistent in every aspect from the first visit. When you walk in (at lunch) you will be greeted by one of two Asian women who tell you to sit where you like. They will promptly take your order. Drink service is relatively quick. The sweet tea is delicious if you are looking for that after lunch sugar coma! If you order the lunch special just be warned you cannot substitute anything! It comes with rice. You cannot get LoMein unless you want to pay $8 more. The egg drop soup is the only thing that has varied on each visit. Two times I've had it and it had peas and carrots in it. One time it was watery and the other had what appeared to be uncooked white of the egg. The egg roll seems to be hand rolled and has good flavor. I have ordered the General Tso's chicken everytime and I LOVE IT!!! It is HOT and the chicken is cooked perfectly! The rice that is served with lunch is very bland and leaves much to be desired. The service is acceptable but don't expect any over the top service for sure. The price for lunch is $9.40 which is about average in this area. Today, I walked in at 12:05 and walked out at 12:30. Service speed is excellent for lunch rush.
