I ordered the kabuli pulao and a Coke for pickup through DoorDash, planning a tidy lunch to enjoy near the bay once I got off work. When I arrived at the food truck, the gentleman working there unfortunately informed me that the items I had just ordered were sold out. He kindly suggested an alternative of tikka kabob, which I gladly accepted. The tikka kabob was tasty and well-seasoned, delivering a satisfying depth of flavor with each bite. The rice was fragrant with softly shredded carrots and raisins, adding subtle sweetness and texture that complemented the smoky kabob nicely. A generous addition on top of my order were complimentary Watani fries, drizzled with a sauce reminiscent of a tangy chimichurri. The food truck itself sits in the same lot as the mosque in Burlingame, which is a convenient spot to park. It's also just a couple of blocks away from the bay shore as well, making the entire experience easy to fit into a pleasant outing for lunch by the water: While I initially sought kabuli pulao, the recommended tikka kabob turned out to be a great alternative. The flavors were strong, the rice provided a nice counterpoint, and the chimichurri-like sauce on the fries was a standout touch. Service was friendly and kind. Definitely open to trying the original kabuli pulao on a future trip, but I'd gladly rely on the team's thoughtful substitutions again. Overall, this place was lovely and definitely will return again.

Every single item was nothing short of amazing, full of flavor, and perfectly served. They do big portions here. They make the fries fresh here and you can taste it. They put alot of tlc into their food which is why it can take a bit. Only thing forgotten yesterday was chutney, and we missed it with every item. We will have to go back and try more again soon.

It's in a pretty busy shopping plaza and so parking might be tough. But you walk in and the line is wrapped around with a bunch of sandwich makers that make your order fresh. I ended up getting the lucca's ultimate (turkey, ham, bacon and cheese) on dutch crunch. The sandwich is huge btw so you can definitely split one with someone else. Everything tasted fresh and the garlic sauce is incredible. I will say that the bread isn't toasted and pretty thick so the bite that you get can sometimes be a bit hard to bite through. It might even borderline on being a bit dry because of that. Maybe if it was hallowed out a bit and then toasted, that would be my preference. Overall though, a good sandwich spot

This visit, we ordered the "Double Beef," packed with pastrami, corned beef, coleslaw, and Russian dressing on sourdough. Sooo good. The sandwich is loaded with flavor, and they're incredibly generous with the meat. It's huge -- definitely made to share... or not! The original Little Lucca's in South San Francisco is legendary, so we're so happy they opened another location in Burlingame. It absolutely lives up to the hype. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking, making it an easy stop. The staff is efficient, friendly, and clearly knows their sandwiches. Already looking forward to our next visit to try another menu item!

Having said that, Mingalaba is probably the most authentic Asian restaurant I've eaten at so far. You can there that there's no shortcuts with the dishes, nothing is watered down, everything is just real. The coconut chicken soup is something out of this world. It's not spicy at all. I can't describe it but it was really delicious, as with all the other dishes. The service was amazing and they even amended some of our dishes so that we could feed it to our kid (non-spicy). I really like this restaurant. Only such a shame we live so far now and only just discovered it. I'd visit again if I'm around.

While there are a few highlights, several dishes don't quite justify the premium pricing. The Burmese beef and lamb curries are really good--the meat is consistently tender and the flavors are deep and well-developed. We also really enjoyed the rainbow salad and the paratha with curry sauce, though both felt overpriced for what they are. Other menu items have been disappointing: * Catfish Chowder: This was fairly average and bore a strange resemblance to pea soup. * Walnut Broccoli Chicken: Another mediocre dish that failed to leave an impression.

Standout was definitely the Peking duck - super tasty, generous portions, and they prepared the duck 3 ways, including a delicious soup with the bones. Price was very reasonable given quality and quantity. Service was friendly and prompt despite the restaurant being absolutely packed for dinner. It did get pretty loud inside, but that's to be expected given how full it was. Lots of large tables and families eating together.

You need to check in and let them know you arrived so they can put you in the queue to be seated. Even though we arrived at 6:45 we didn't get seated until 7:15 (aka no point in arriving early if you have a reservation). The Peking Duck is what they are famous for and deservedly so. It is so so good and the presentation is beautiful. Skin is crispy, meat is tender, wrappers are thin. They give you an option to have the Duck remains (bones and left over meat) to be made into a soup or stir fry and we opted for the soup. It was so clean and healthy tasting. One of the best places for Peking duck in the bay. A must try
