I love coming here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is spacious, with a big bar right in the middle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is delicious, packed with flavor, and served in generous portions. Even the plates are huge. The staff are all friendly, though you may have to wait a bit for the food depending on how busy it gets, but it's definitely worth it. You'll leave feeling full -- I had to walk off the food afterward and ended up strolling around a few blocks.

A restaurant serving South and North Indian food along with Nepali food. I would have never guessed that the food would be this good. We were in a large group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. I was a little wary when I went in since the guy at the front seemed brusque. Thankfully, our waiter (long hair) was awesome. Very friendly and helped us through our order and checked up on us multiple times. He shared that the cook and owner had been to India to learn the different cuisines. It clearly showed. They do a great job. Note that street parking in the front is challenging but they have a large lot in the back.

Thank you for your response. First, the order was placed through DoorDash, not Uber Eats. Regardless of which delivery platform was used, the restaurant is responsible for preparing, packaging, and verifying that the order is complete before handing it to the delivery driver. I received an order with half the naan appearing tampered with and one samosa missing. From my perspective as the customer, I received incomplete food in unacceptable condition. I also disagree with your statement about our phone conversation. My first call ended after about 34 seconds, and I had to call back immediately. The second call lasted about 3 minutes. My review reflects my actual experience, and I stand by it. Order was delivered at 3:.07 pm I called restaurant at 3:08PM I called the restaurant to report the issue, but it was difficult to communicate because there appeared to be a language barrier. Then employee hang up the phone. Second time I called restaurant at 3:09PM I tried to explain that half of the naan appeared tampered with and one samosa was missing, but instead of taking responsibility or offering a solution, I was told it was the delivery driver's fault. There was also a communication barrier that made it difficult to discuss the issue. My review is based on my actual experience, and I stand by it. I hope the restaurant improves both its customer service and quality control.

After having many wonderful meals here, we had an ok meal here. The chef must have changed. We often order the same items: chicken korma, butter chicken, lamb biryani and butter nan. This time we also had chicken momoes. The three chicken dishes were very good. The lamb biryani had meat that lacked flavor and there was less meat. The ingredients have also changed and I had hives after eating it. The butter nan was only two halves. Disappointing because this was my favorite for Indian food. We will try another day and hope it was just a temporary chef change.

Wow. I've been trying all sorts of Indian restaurants and this one is my new favorite. Aloo paratha - BEST I've ever had Garlic naan - good, but not memorable Paneer tikka masala - hmm it was a bit bland and needed more spice. The texture was nice. The sauce reminded me of a vodka sauce Dal makhani - HELL YEAH. I get this dish whenever it is available at any restaurant and this version is delicious. I rationed the leftovers. Raita and pickles - good and huge portions [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will say they should have better openers--the doors didn't open on time and there were still chairs stacked on top of tables when I entered[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Fun mural on the entry wall behind the bar.

Beautiful restaurant with great variety of options, with all Your favorites. We were greeted and seated right away and had their samosas, butter chicken, spinach with garbanzos and garlic naan. The butter chicken was so tender and the sauce perfect with spice and cream. Great for dipping the naan breads, which were these impressive long strips of buttered and sprinkled garlic breads. The spinach dish rounded it all out with just the right spices and tender garbanzos. This was a great place to eat dinner when you are craving Indian flavors. Lots to choose from and service was quick!

    Naan galore.

Wow! Was s fantastic meal all around. Went with two Indians, got medium spice, and it was perfect. I went mixed vegetables korma and was quite happy. Others were happy with their neat options. Would recommend! Seating was simple and service effective.

Food was delicious. Servers were welcoming and seems like a place that has plenty of locals. Hands down out of the items we ordered the chicken breast served on a sizzling platter was so flavorful, even the onions on the bottom were so delicious. I'm not sure when I will return but when I'm in the area I will for sure be back! Was my first time trying the shrimp korma and omg that was so bomb. The curry was on point and a 10 out of 10 must try again lol. I'll be back!

This is an excellent restaurant with great staff. The chicken momos were absolutely incredible I actually enjoyed them more than the curries. Papadum is complimentary if you ask for it, which is a nice touch. This is definitely a spot worth checking out, and I'll be returning for sure. Parking is decent, but it can be a bit challenging during peak hours. I'd recommend the chicken momos!

Reasonable prices because they give you a lot of meat in each meat dish! As in they could give you less and I'd be happy. Great service which is a nice plus. Really made us feel welcome. The space is large and they have a cool bar, neat artwork, and multiple TVs playing sports games. There's two main rooms for seating and there were Indian people so it's authentic. Lamb biryani is a must-get--also recommend the chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, saag gosh, and naan. They're open late until 11:45pm, have an extensive bar and alcohol selection, and do a pretty good takeout business. Lots of parking in the back.

I've lived in Millbrae for 5 years now and never knew this place was here! Went for a stroll through downtown to see what options I had for dinner and ended up walking into Sugandh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place looks fairly new. Nice clean floors. Decorated well with nice bench seats across the wall as well as chairs with backings across the table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was greeted upon entering and welcomed to take any available table. I sat down and immediately ordered appetizers. Samosas, naan, raita and the tandoori chicken wings. Everything was delicious! Especially the wings! Then for my main course, I ordered rice and the chicken vindaloo. Again, absolutely delicious! I got everything medium spicy as they offer it all mild, medium or spicy. It was the perfect amount of heat in my opinion. Not too spicy but added a little kick to each bite. Washed it all down with a cucumber cilantro margarita which was new to me, and again very delicious. Overall a great first experience here and I'm glad to have this place in my neighborhood. I recommend anyone in the mood for Indian food and in the Millbrae area to come check this place out.

Do they have a buffet lunch?

No, they don't. They have one menu, which is an all day menu. The prices, however, are reasonable and the portions huge--terrific for leftovers :-) I'm Indian and my standards for Indian food are beyond high. If you go, do not miss their bindhi…

When will the maintenance be completed?

I believe construction is ongoing for the rest of the month of September.

It takes a little bit of time for the food to be prepared and ready but in the mean time you can always take pictures with their various photo ops (such as the dino eating Putin and King Neptune on the roof) there or go into their anti- animal cruelty gas station shop. There's a couple small picnic table seating outside, but it was raining at the time and already some people there so decided to take our food to go. Definitely do need a table to eat the food since it's a lot to share though or at least be careful if you're eating it in a car. We got the: 1) Mobba'q Spaghetti: -This is their impossible spaghetti with impossible ground beef meat and a hint of bbq sauce. -Reminds me of sweet Filipino spaghetti from Jollibee's but of course vegan and you get more spaghetti and not as drowned in sauce, which is a good thing. As a simple spaghetti enjoyer, this was probably my favorite dish of what we ordered. 2) Louisiana Fried Chicken Plate: -We can choose up to 3 sides and we got the Southern style collard greens (hey, my beardie eats this), smackeroni (mac n cheese, contains gluten, but soy free), and potato salad (contains soy, but is gluten free). -You get a HUGE amount of sides. You can probably get full on the sides by themselves. They do NOT skimp out on the portions. -Delicious mac n cheese. Sauce is a bit more "fluid" and gooey and less dense and cheesy which makes it much easier to eat. Solid potato salad with the perfect sour and creamy taste. Big chunks of potatoes and other veggies in included. -You get several HUGE pieces of their Louisiana fried chicken. No bones since it's vegan so another plus for me. Nice and crispy on the outside and not too dry on the inside. Super dense protein bits that go great with their sauce. Definitely can get full from this and it's easily shareable. 3) Vegan Rib Tips: -It has like that Asian pork floss texture but super condensed and obviously vegan. -Went great with their bbq sauce, completely different texture but a delicious protein snack on the side. If I'm visiting my chuckwallas again, I don't mind stopping by for another visit.

We went on Yelp and searched for Vegan food and found this interesting food truck with great reviews. We were excited as this truck was parked in a gas station with a vegan yes completely vegan food mart and a giant statue of a rooster outside. This was the most fun part of this experience. The prices on the food truck did not match what the young lady - new employee " I'm sorry I don't know this is my 6th day" - rang up ( $1.60 more per item). When I asked her and her colleague( Caucasian lady about 5 ft 4 inches tall), the latter just shrugged her shoulders, walked out of the truck and passed us without responding on her way to the gas station rest room where she stayed for the next 12 minutes( till we left. I asked our first contact about the hours posted on the sign on the truck as in open for breakfast and she stated nope, maybe 11 or so. It was sad because the new employee was trying so hard to push the taco meal deal combo for an additional $11 on us. The tacos had two tiny pieces of soy. ( photo). We got the food to go and unwrapped everything at the hotel. The burrito was not bad. We were starving and just woofed it down. I was tempted to call the number on the side of the truck and run a check on the owner who has a different truck in San Francisco but decided against it. Sometimes you just got to let it go.

Customary at most Vietnamese restaurants, you get your food with minimal check ins and not even a plate clearing until the bill comes. This was NOT the case here. There service was definitely in the A/A+ range! I ordered on my phone via QR code, but there was an option to order in person from a server. I ordered many items to try out. I ordered spring rolls, crispy salt and pepper wings, grilled pork banh mi, beef dac beit pho, and a Thai iced tea. Thai Iced Tea was pretty good. Grade: A I thought the Spring Rolls were decent, but what made them even better was the peanut sauce! I always hate when the peanut sauce is watery and this was far from that! An excellent gooey peanut sauce and maybe one of the best I've had fpr consistency. Grade: A- Crispy salt and pepper wings definitely had an incredible crunch. They were up there in crunchiness. The drumettes were meaty which I appreciated. They were well seasoned also. I think I need to try their other wings before crowning these, but some of the cruncheist wings I've had for sure. Grade: A- Beef Dac Biet Pho had some real high quality meat in it. I had options in noodle and my go-to for any pho spot is the egg noodles. I wish it had more bo vien in it, but I appreciated the combo of meats. The broth seemed authentic, but I wanted a tad more flavor out of it without adding sauces. Overall, the pho grade was a B+ bordering an A-. The star of the show was the grilled pork banh mi. The meat was tender and saucy. In fairness I asked for extra pickles and mayo, but I was very impressed. The bread had the crispy crunch we all look for but minus the stale bread. The breads soft yet crispness made it seem as if it just came out of the oven! I'm going to dub this as the best I've had in the Bay Area! There I said it! Grade: A+ Everyone who ordered the sampler seemed very pleased at other tables, I would definitely try that. Also, want to try the other banh mis and noodle options for the pho. There was a nice vibe at this place. I didn't feel rushed although they do close fairly early at 8pm. The server's mom is the one cooking in the kitchen and I appreciated the family feeling at this place. They do have a newer location in San Francisco that has a DJ Friday nights that I may check out. I believe the server said that they are open til 2am on most nights, but I may have misheard her. Feel free to Yelp that location. My only disappointment was that I really love papaya salad and it was not an option. I may make this my go-to spot from now on, but as a Yelper, we all know we will keep trying new places. This will be the one I continue to frequent. Well done Pho de Nguyen!

"Great hole-in-the-wall Mexican near SFO airport"…read more Came here for dinner at 6pm on a Monday night, based on good Yelp reviews. The place is unassuming-- has a thin stretch of outdoor seating and a handful of tables inside. Not super bright in lighting, and a TV inside was showing a baseball game. Seemed like a lot of the business was takeout, as people would come, hover, get food, and leave. I was GOING to order the fish tacos or a fish quesadilla, but I was swayed by the picture of a breaded fish plate special. My son got the carne asada quesadilla, and others at the table got a veggie burrito and a chicken bowl. Food came out pretty quick-- maybe around or just over 10 minutes (the fish plate and veggie burrito came out slightly after the other two). I was very impressed that the fish plate looked even BETTER than the photo (see photos of both). The fish was HUGE. There was a generous helping of guacamole, lots of fresh avocado slides, some onion and cabbage, etc. There was a nice bed of lettuce on the side with sour cream over it, and the rice & beans (covered with a thin layer of cheese) on another side. The fish plate was just delicious. The batter wasn't overpowering or too heavy, and the fish was excellent inside (and very flat). I really liked the sauce in a little cup on the fish, or having it with avocado or guacamole, or even straight. The rice and beans were yummy too. Such a great dish, and it was under $20 before tax and tip. My dining companions all liked their food, though my son said the carne asada meat was "just good" (he had a bite of the chicken and said that was better). The person at the register was friendly. And as mentioned, the prices were very reasonable. I'd happily eat here again if in the area. Great portion size, great quality, good value, etc. Enjoy!
