On a whim I strolled into MK to try their lamb and beef gyros. It had been many years since I had kebab and I was craving it. The only thing is that some of the kebab places in the Bay Area are a roll of the dice: either good or not good. Luck was in my favor and rolled a 7. The meat was tender and flavorful. I almost forgot how much I like lamb. The rice and salad was a good complement to the lamb and beef. The pita bread was also great and I could have eaten a double order of it (so carby good). Anyway, just a short one for MK. They are definitely on my Kebab List for the Peninsula. I'm not a pyro, but I rock the gyros. Now for the pic.

This place is quick and convenient for takeout, but I think there are better Mediterranean options around here. I got the beef & lamb plate to go. The meat was dry and not that flavorful. The rice was pretty plain as well. The pita bread was cold and not soft. The salad was a generous serving but there were so many tomatoes (hidden at the bottom). Unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

(Brad Pitt voiceover) The vibe is fab restaurant right on Burlingame. Nothing says Cali more than dining al fresco! Chris warmly greeted me! Ran with the Alexander Kebab! Hearty! Empowering! Feel like I could jump over walls while leading an army. Two Turkish coffees. Afterall, one is none. And I now feel my engine rev like an F1. Thanks, Chris! Wouls order everything again! Woohoo!

I drove 40 minutes to eat at Mediterranean kebab and spent $60 for everything to be raw. This is completely unacceptable and extremely dangerous to be serving raw chicken!!!! I could have gotten salmonella

Wouldn't normally give 5 stars for a counter service restaurant (you order at the counter and they bring it to you), but this place is just excellent for its class. Super friendly owner, cook to order and the food is really great. Had the chicken kebab plate which was really luscious and juicy. Hummus was also juicy. Yummy.

Decided to stop in to Mediterranean Kebab with a friend after work. I ordered the lamb & beef gyros warp which comes on lavash bread with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and tahini sauce. The tahini sauce comes in a small container on the side; I could've used more sauce because the meat was a little dry and didn't have much flavor. Parking in downtown Burlingame can be hard because it can get crowded, but there are a few public lots available close by.

Great hole in the wall. Food is good, great portion and reasonable price. I ate everything as I was searching for proteins that evening. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for this kind of plate and proteins.

My family and I love this place and go there often. The food quality is excellent, and the service is top notch: friendly, efficient, and consistent. I always get some sort of kebab plate or gyro. This time I decided to order the tabbouleh salad and I added the seafood combo to it. Result: exxxxcellent!

It was a warm summer night and I was walking my dog with a friend who HIGHLY recommended this place. I didn't expect much from the outside, BUT wow! The french fries? BEST on Burlingame Ave. The hummus? Extra flavorful with extra garlic. The sauté eggplant? Put that on everything- it's delicious. 5/5 If you want a perfectly crispy, lightly fried falafel and french fries? THIS is the spot. You're welcome. ;)

The Mediterranean Combo was good, but it only came with one shish kebab, one kofte kebab, and one piece of lamb. It also came with three pieces of chicken and a decent amount of beef gyros. The tartness of the Tabuleh salad was a good balance with the Mediterranean Combo.

Sauce that comes with 4 Pieces Falafel side order
    Jazmin G.

I ordered the hummus #1 appetizer which was delicious. Super flavorful and the right texture. Comes with pita bread and I ordered an additional pita which was not needed and their portion is a good size. The side of falafel has four pieces in it was good as well. They come with a good dipping sauce. The other item I got was the beef kebab a la cart. This was so flavorful and well cooked. Juice delicious flavors with every bite. The restaurant itself is small inside but clean and ample places to sit. The staff was friendly. Will definitely be back to try other items!

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!…read more Best vegan food I have ever had in any restaurant in the Bay Area. My mom took me to celebrate my birthday and let me say-- it was the best experience. First of all, the building is absolutely GORGEOUS! Very classy and modern and an all around great vibe. Secondly, service was just as amazing. The ladies at the front were SO welcoming and sweet. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name, but she's got beautiful curly hair), was so attentive, gave us great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. Our water and dirty plates were refilled and replaced constantly by other lovely waiters as well. Excellent service!! Now, the FOOD is where it's all at. I am not 100% vegan, but growing up with my mother who is vegan, I've had a fair share of vegan food experiences. I have never eaten vegan food that tasted better than the non-vegan version until now. You will absolutely not miss the dairy and meat at all. My mom and I ate every single thing off of our plates. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! I was so full I could barely walk back to our car! Twelvemonth was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait until I am able to come back and try this place once again.

Incredible vegan brunch and sides, but service was a complete communication disaster…read more Twelvemonth is a beautiful restaurant with an organized, upscale, and luxurious interior feel. I've been here a few times now, and while I usually come for dinner, I recently tried their weekend brunch for the first time; and the food was absolutely delicious! Mimosa: Really good and a great start to the meal. Breakfast Sliders: Perfect ratio; not too much breading, a great amount of sauce, and the vegan meat was packed with flavor. French Toast: Incredibly fluffy, soft, and tasted amazing. Quiche: The texture was spot on, very flavorful, and made even better by the sauce drizzled on top. Dinner Comparison: Having been here for dinner previously, we've realized we vastly prefer their smaller plates over the mains. Their Lumpia Shanghai, Korean Fried Chicken Sliders, Loaded Tater Tots, and Biscuits & Gravy are phenomenal. However, when we tried the main courses like the ramen and risotto, we felt they just weren't as good or flavorful compared to the sides. The Service: Unfortunately, the service on this brunch visit was a complete mess. They sat us at a corner table in an empty area. We waited 10 minutes with no water and no server in sight, so we finally had to wave someone down. The person who helped us wasn't even our assigned server, but she kindly offered to take care of us anyway. After getting our food, we were only visited once; again, by a different worker. Meanwhile, our actual server was actively checking on the table right behind us but completely ignored us until we were practically done eating. Every time we needed plates, the check, or wanted to order more food/drinks, we had to wave down random servers walking past. There was zero communication and it felt like a total disaster. I'm rating Twelvemonth 3 stars after my most recent visit. While their brunch was absolutely amazing; the service this time was a complete disaster. We were sat in the corner booth area and the lack of staff communication was a total mess. This has never happened on my previous two visits, so I'm hoping it was just a one off bad day, but they really need to fix their service coordination over there. Another reason for the 3-star rating is the consistency of the food itself. On past visits, we have found the main courses on their all day dinner menu (like the ramen and risotto) to be totally flavorless. However, their side dishes like the lumpia and Korean fried chicken sliders are great. Stick to the brunch and the dinner sides, skip the dinner mains, and hope you get a better table location than we did. Twelvemonth is a fully vegan restaurant. Everything on the menu is plant based, making it incredibly easy to order without any guesswork.

I was honestly shocked walking into the restaurant and seeing that they expanded into the neighboring brick and mortar space. The ambiance was absolutely divine and felt like dining in a beautiful Italian courtyard. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The staff was incredibly genuine and attentive. Huge credit to the sweet mother to be working the cashier register. I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was so kind and caring toward my fiancé and I while we dined there, especially since I'm expecting as well. The runners and hosts were also wonderful. You can truly tell they have a great team dynamic. Now for the food... one Bay Area term: SCHMACK. Man, did I miss having such a variety of food items made to absolute deliciousness. I ordered the Palermo, hot chocolate, orange juice, and the Siena sweet crepe with no strawberries. My fiancé had the omelette and the French toast order. Everything was perfect for our cravings and tasted so fresh and comforting. We will definitely be returning with our families to celebrate our little blessing to come. Buttermilk pancake and Milano crepe were fine - both were relatively sizable and tasty. New Orleans benedict was a huge miss. I'm not sure how long my plate was sitting out before it was served, but the English muffin was soggy, the egg was very overcooked/not runny at all, and the hollandaise sauce had developed a noticeable skin. The entire dish was lukewarm at best. Our food came out quickly, so it's obvious Crepevine pre-makes everything and nothing is fresh. As we were leaving, we saw a plate in the kitchen with a giant stack of pre-made crepes on it. Lastly, service was a HUGE disappointment. When we were at the cash register placing our order, the employee NEVER looked at us. Instead, she kept looking around and was very distracted, which is probably why she asked us to repeat ourselves 3 times. Then, in the MIDDLE of our ordering, she turned and started talking to a woman behind us in line. They literally proceeded to have an entire conversation while we were standing there, holding menus in our hand, waiting to finish placing our order. We should have walked out right there. After we sat down, no one ever brought us water. Our food arrived and we still didn't have water, so we had to flag someone down. That person didn't bring anything, so we had to ask another person. Everything - from water to napkins to boxes - needed to be requested multiple times. Not gonna come back again.

Both were good, but the ginger flavor in the Ginger Scallion Bowl was a little overpowering for me. I wished there were a couple more ingredients to help balance everything out.
