Been wanting to try butter chicken forever so we decided to order from this place using Door Dash. We ordered the butter chicken, lamb and goat curry and several types of naan (regular, butter, and cheese). Food was ready and delivered quicker than what Door Dash estimated which was great, but after receiving our order, wondered if the rush resulted in us not receiving all of our items. I'm pretty sure we got someone else's order. They ordered almost the same thing we had, but instead of garlic naan, we received Rasmalai? Other than that slight hiccup, the food was really good! My husband had the curry and said it was delicious and that he'd try the restaurant and/or do the curry again. He's not big on bread with his meals, but really liked the cheese naan. The butter chicken was also really good. Flavors were great and the pieces of chicken were big. I couldn't finish it all and ended up eating the rest for lunch the next day. Though the regular naan was good, the cheese was better and honestly, the butter chicken was probably better without it -- just the chicken and rice was enough. Great food, great favors. I ordered takeout from Chef India and overall had a very positive experience. I got the chicken curry with a side of garlic naan, and the food quality was excellent. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the texture of both the curry and naan was spot on. My only critique regarding the food was the size of the chicken pieces--they were quite large and could have been cut down one or two more times for easier eating and better consistency throughout the dish. Even though my order was to go, I did notice the atmosphere inside the restaurant while picking up my food. The Indian rap music was playing loudly and felt a bit unsettling. I have a feeling the restaurant might see more dine-in customers with a less crude style of Indian music played at a lower volume. My husband and I were in the mood to try something we've never tried. We drove almost an hour to Lawton to try this place out and needless to say it was well worth the drive!! We were looking at the menu on the way here and having trouble deciding what to try. To our surprise, there was a lunch buffet! We came on a Sunday afternoon. I believe the sign said buffet Sunday 11-3 but I may be wrong! We tried a little bit of everything and ordered a mango lassi, cheese naan, and garlic naan. Everything was SO delicious! Perfect temperature, flavorful, and appealing presentation overall. My toddler is sensitive with crowds and noise so we hit the jackpot being one of the few families dining in. We love Indian food so whenever we travel, we love to go to different Indian food locations. We happened to stop by Chef India right when they opened at 11am on a Thursday. The location had plenty of free parking and the interior was clean. Some things we tried are: 1. Mango Lassi- it had a thick smoothie consistency which we like and prefer. It was also sweet and tart at the same time. Honestly one of the better mango lassi out there! 2. Garlic Naan- this was okay. I wish they used real garlic bits instead of powdered garlic. 3. Butter Chicken- came with rice. It was good, but I would give it a 4 out of 5. 4. Lamb & Goat Tikka Masala- came with rice. I got a medium spice with this and I would say this was a 5 out of 5 star here. 5. Complimentary chai tea station- I absolutely LOVE chai tea. This station gets you unlimited refills with sugar. If coming here, I would get all of the items we got again. They were all tasty and the portions were a good size. As always, leave tip when you can! read more

First note, I really did not know anything about Indian food except that there are some things I really like that always appeal to me whenever I stepped into an Indian restaurant. The Naan and Buttery Chicken are two of the first things that I usually look for. Most Indian buffets that have been to usually come with Naan except for here it's $2.99 a basket but it's totally worth it. You get a choice of about 3 different Naans and it comes out fresh so you will have to be patient. The buffet is only offered Friday Saturday and Sunday during the day time and it closes up about 3. You might not know about this place until you drive by it and actually see a sign that says Buffet, just had my tires screeching to a halt yesterday unfortunately it was too late. And here I am the next day. The buffet price is about $13 plus Uncle Sam and with the Naan and an iced tea it comes up to just a hair over $19 plus tip. The service here is really attentive. The parking is little and limited up front but they say there is parking in the back. Why are you reaching your meal you will be pleasant it by some subtle Indian music. You also often see the owner which I would assume coming back and forth making sure most of the detail in the buffet is taken care of. That is a good thing since nothing will ever run out and up to par. After your meal, help yourself to a cup of Chai that is in a push button thermos on the left side of the buffet this is probably the only Indian buffet in town but at least it is decent and deserves a visit. After moving to Oklahoma 2 months ago, I've been on the hunt for Indian food. Came a cross this gem of a place. I was craving Indian food since moving here. The Seafood Masala was amazing including their onion and garlic naan. Portion size is pretty good too. We had the chef india royal for two and it was all amazing and flavorful! The dinner for two included a lentil soup, Samoa with two dipping sauces (my favorite was the mint dipping sauce), Lamb Curry Entree, Rogan Josh entree, rice, naan, some of their homemade chips, and gulab jamun for dessert. Everything was delicious and had great spice! We even had some leftover to take home and enjoy tomorrow. Also tried a Taj Mahal beer for the first time which was really good! They have generous portions and I always have lunch for the next day. My only complaint is with the dessert. After a perfectly dreadful excuse for a meal out at Meers in nearby Medicine Park, this place seemed a bit of Heaven. My mint tea was perfectly seasoned and perfectly hot, and neither my Paneer Pakora nor my Chicken Vindaloo could have been more expertly prepared.
