Chef K is a wonderful Chinese takeout located conveniently off the 215 freeway. I've been here several times and the food is always fantastic. The absolute best part is almost everything can be made gluten free here which was a great surprise on my first visit. They even have gluten free Orange Chicken! The service is always great. The staff is extremely friendly, especially the woman & gentleman that owns the restaurant. There are seats to dine in, but this place is known for takeout so don't expect a fine dining room/experience. Overall, if you're looking for some great Chinese food in the Murrieta area, this is a fantastic choice.

Thought I'd already made a review for this place. First off, I love em! Love the food. Omg. From the food, the flavor and portions *chef's kiss* Sidenote-I've only ever ordered delivery. Can't speak on the actual place and dine-in experience. My issue? The vegan options seem to often have some meat in them. My mapo tofu will often have some stray/scrap beef and what not in it, which makes it hard to recommend to vegans and hard to enjoy if you're not looking to eat meat.

I came here with my mom because we love Chef K in Temecula but this place just didn't hit. We got 2 plates and the food just tasted so sweet. Like they added several tablespoons of sugar in the sauces. We could barely finish our portion. The original location in Temecula is superior. The beef and broccoli sauce was too sweet. The fried rice was bland and tasted like MSG. The noodles was the "best" part but somewhat bland overall. The service was nice and the lady at the desk was sweet. But the food isn't worth coming back to this location unfortunately.

Beef with vegetables and fried rice. $12.99 lunch special. Comes with soup and one appetizer

Had to make a stop at the Los Alamos Post Office, and came across this little gem in the same complex. It was almost noon so we were lucky enough to catch their lunch specials for $12.99 Each entree comes with a soup ( sour or egg drop) and an appetizer (wonton with cream cheese, chicken wing or egg roll) And rice or noodles or half of each. I have to say, we got a lot of food, for that $12.99 and everything came steaming hot and fresh. I don't know of anyplace similar to this. It's definitely Chinese. The gal at the counter was smiling the whole time. She was very happy to be here. Overall 5 stars for Chef K. My daughter, husband and I enjoyed your place. Keep up the smiles and good food!

We ordered for a Birthday Day lunch for 15 people. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Service was excellent and the staff provided everything we needed.

Warmly greeted as soon as we stepped in, very quick, attentive and friendly service. I love walking into establishments where you feel welcomed. We loved the Temecula location so much, we decided to try this express version for lunch and we were not disappointed. Their servings are extremely generous and they did not skimp on the meats with big servings of jumbo shrimp in the soft noodles and big chunks of bbq pork in the fried rice. My husband, myself and two of our children thoroughly enjoyed the food and we highly recommend this place! Not sure if they have more options besides just Ala Carte which gets pricey, they did have a lunch special, but maybe it would be nice to offer more options like a fast food Panda's like bowls or multiple choice plates.

Chef K is my go-to Chinese food spot, and honestly, it slaps!! I used to be loyal to their Chongqing Chicken (spicy, crispy, and addictive), but then I met their lo mein noodles.... and wow, game changer!! These noods are perfectly seasoned, beautifully al dente, and not a soggy disappointment like some other joints I won't name (but you know who you are). This specific location was intended for takeout so they only have a few tables for dine in. Everything here is bomb, so if you're in town and not eating Chek K, you're doing it wrong!!

I wanted to share my recent experience at a new Chinese eatery I discovered through TikTok. I figured it was worth trying since finding authentic Chinese cuisine in our area can be quite a challenge. Firstly, I should mention that it's not really set up for dining in, as they only have about four tables and no public restroom available. They do have a kiosk for ordering, but I highly recommend placing your order online since everything is made fresh to order. - **General Tso's Chicken**: This dish was very tasty, fresh, and not spicy at all, which I appreciated. - **Crispy Beef**: I was a bit surprised; it didn't resemble the picture I saw on Yelp. It was extremely crispy--almost too crunchy to enjoy comfortably. - **Shrimp Fried Rice**: This was a highlight! Very enjoyable and flavorful. - **House Special Noodles**: Good overall but a tad dry in the middle. I think if you're looking for a quick bite of authentic Chinese food, it's worth checking out!!

Having just moved to the area, finding a good Chinese restaurant is very important. I ran into this place on Yelp, because of it's decent reviews. Instead of Doordashing, we drove there. Chinese food is better straight from the kitchen rather than after a 30 minute car ride on someone's floorboard. Anyway, I ordered my usual dish, the Mongolian Beef. My wife got the Dry Fried String Beans dish. We also had the Crispy Cream Cheese Wontons and a side of Fried Rice. You only get white rice with their dishes. Anyway, the place was very friendly and clean. We both loved our respective dishes. We ordered too much food, but it was delicious. We finished everything off the next day for lunch. We will definitely come here again!

We were craving Chinese food and hadn't really tried anything in the area, so we decided to give this place a shot since it was only one exit away. When we arrived, we were greeted right away by two employees who were busy packing pickup orders, which was nice to see. We browsed the menu and I didn't initially see egg drop soup, so I asked the lady at the counter and she assured me they did have it. We ended up ordering the sticky orange chicken, pork soft noodles, wontons (8 pieces), and a small egg drop soup to go. She also asked us to choose a spice level for the chicken (1-5), and we went with a 3. Our food was ready in about 10 minutes, which was super convenient. Everything was incredibly tasty and exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food was amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. The pork soft noodles were some of the best I've had in a long time. This will definitely be our go-to spot for Chinese food from now on.

BEEF KUNG PAO !!! I thought the chicken kung Pao was delicious but the beef was AMAZING!!! The beef was so tender and large pieces combined with just the right amount of veg and spice. Fast, friendly service- as usual. Small dining area but clean and enjoyable

I ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings and was disappointed. For $12, I only received six wings, which felt overpriced for the portion. The wings also lacked seasoning, and the batter was much thicker than expected. Instead of the light, crispy texture you typically expect from traditional salt and pepper wings, they were coated in a heavy batter that reminded me more of fried chicken from a fast-food restaurant. The staff and ambiance were great, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. I hope they consider improving the seasoning and batter because the service deserves food that matches the quality of the hospitality.

I ordered the beef egg foo young, and it's my fav but I'm very picky about it. Here it's made fresh when you order. And boom, you can taste the difference. It was spot on. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and honestly one of the best I've had. We also had the veggie egg rolls, and you could taste how clean the oil was. No heaviness, no lingering grease. Just crisp, fresh, and really well done. Even the jasmine tea was really good. Smooth, fragrant, and clearly not an afterthought. The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. And hearing the Chinese chatter coming from the kitchen said everything about the authenticity without needing to say a word. Fresh food, great flavors, and a genuine feel. We'll definitely be back.

On our first visit, we ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, shrimp lo mein, and the rock cod fillet in black bean sauce. The fresh fish was absolutely delicious and a great recommendation from our server. The wings were perfectly fried and seasoned, and the portions were generous enough for the two of us to share comfortably. Our server was fantastic--super friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout the meal. We were very grateful for her. For our second visit, we ordered many of the same dishes but decided to try the salt and pepper fish instead of the rock cod. It was moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Another great choice! The service on our second visit was a bit slower, but it seemed to be a much busier day. We had to ask for our rice, and we never received a water refill. Thankfully, my husband wasn't drinking much of his water, so I was able to finish his. Even with those minor service issues, the food was excellent and more than enough reason for us to return. I'm confident it was simply an unusually busy day. Overall, great food, generous portions, and a restaurant we'll definitely be back to visit again.
