It could use a little more variation of vegetable but when I make it at home I like lots of veggies. The Thai Fried Rice was good, spicy, and I am not sure if it was on purpose but the great variation of bell peppers (red, orange, yellow, grean) allowed each bite to be distinctive based on what the pepper added. This is a cute little place tucked away in the target center off Ynez and Rancho. It welcomes you with lots of plants outside like a mini garden. The inside is a little older but kept clean. I did notice some cool art pieces that look pretty authentic. This is my usual Thai spot as it is close by. The staff are always very nice. I always order by phone or online and pick it up. This time I ordered Thai tea with boba and it forced me to add coconut milk for an extra dollar. That was weird and not sure if I would get that again. The boba was soft but a little mushy. But I drank it all so it wasn't horrible. I always have to wait a little before my order is ready but not very long. They offered me water last time and this time they checked in with me. I got pad Thai my go to. It's not greasy which is great and it tastes great! It looks like a small portion but it can feed two people easily in my opinion. The wontons are also a favorite. Hidden in the target shopping center on rancho cal, next to the old UFC gym! We walked in, place is clean and tidy, staff is warm and welcoming. The vibe is cute, I love the fresh rose on each table. The menu is big, lots of tasty options to choose from! The thai tea with Boba is the best I've had! We went with the drunken noodles add chicken and the pad see ew added beef. It's tucked away in a corner of the Target shopping center, in a mini jungle they've created around the entrance. Just look for all the plants. The interior has nice ambiance, mostly booths and not too large, not too small. It's family owned and the employees are friendly. The food is yummy, some of my faves are the pad see ew and the fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls are the uncooked kind, larger with rice wrappers and full of fresh veggies and good stuff. I usually get the drunken noodle w/ chicken, level 5 spicy (on a scale of 1-5) and a side of Thai Milk Tea. I've also tried the yellow curry and tom yum soup - also fantastic. Prices are fair too - I think around $26 for chicken drunken noodle + thai iced tea. Portions are huge too! Level 5 spice is at the level of regular Thai spice, so it is spicy, but I love the flavor. I wouldn't say it's unbearably hot, as their Level 5 spicy is definitely not as spicy as buldak (iykyk). A few levels under that spice level for sure, so feel free to go wild. They also have vegetarian/vegan-friendly options too, just make sure to ask :) The thai milk tea is also delicious and pairs so well with whatever I get. They take phone-in orders so you can also do pick-up, which is sometimes what I do.
