Greetings Yelpers, Happy Holiday season to all... Needed a late night dinner and passed this venue and ordered takeaway.. First of all, Dana at the counter was upbeat, pleasant & on point.. She made sure that since I ordered off the menu preparation that all was attended to.. I forgot to ask for extra spicy on the Singapore Chow-Fun and, although it wasn't spicy enough for me it still had a pleasant kick and all instructions were followed. The Chicken Vegetable soup was equally good. Not watery bland nor salty. The place was very busy yet Dai was still on point and made the wait fun!! Give it a try & be sure to tip Dana!!! read more

Born and raised here on long island. Moved down south 8 years ago and this is the first time I've had New York Chinese take out since, so I may be a bit bias. Ordered house fried rice, shrimp toast, bbq ribs on the bone and mixed egg drop wonton soup. God do I miss New York Chinese take out. House fried rice, LOADED with veggies & meats, fried with soy sauce to perfection, exactly what I wanted. Shrimp toast, never had it before but my girlfriend suggested it. Absolutely delicious with no fishy taste at all. Awesome with sweet and sour sauce. BBQ Ribs, not very meaty and not as juicy as I wanted, a bit dry. Only disappointment of the order. Mixed egg drop & wonton soup, 8/10, my mother thought it was a little "slimy" but she didn't realize it was the egg that they crack into the soup which cooks in it. Depending how long it's in the soup depends on how it comes out but I loved it. B+ - A overall on food and service. Only took them 15-20 mins to deliver and they actually called me because I didn't want sesame seeds on the peanut cold noodles that we also ordered. She said the cook already had put them on, and asked if I wanted a new one without the seeds or if it was ok to send them as is. sorry but noooo bueno. I'm a white Jewish lady and I believe that automatically makes me a Chinese food maven. I'm trying so hard to figure out why this place got good reviews, it was even given high marks from people who live in the area. Why why why? I ordered moo shoo veg and dumplings. The dumplings were giant and the dough was really really thick, the filling not very tasty. Moo shoo was no better. The other people in my household who ordered did not give any positive feedback either so I won't be ordering from there again. read more

This is one of the best local Chinese places around! A total greasy spoon, but a divine guilty pleasure. Everyone on Long Island must check them out. The employees are super accommodating, and most of them speak English pretty well. Very nice staff. They make you feel welcome. Delivery is offered, and they are speedy and reasonable. I wish I could still get delivery from them (sigh). They offer free soups, fried rice and beverages when you order. Prices are very reasonable. Food is always served hot and fresh. The fried cheese wontons are amazing. No one else can make them as great. The Szechuan Beef chef's special is also soooo good. Their Lo Mein is perfectly made as well. They will accomodate special orders and dietary needs. Parking is minimal, but service is fast. You can always use street parking if need be. A small place, so don't miss it. Nope. The good: the woman at the counter is extremely nice. 3 dinner dishes and one appetizer cost $39.50. The bad: the rest. Ordered 4 of the worst Chinese dishes I've ever had last night. Easy stuff too. 1) The General Tso's Chicken was not crispy at all and had bits of yellow chicken fat inside it. I realize this is not high end Chinese, but obv the chicken is lowest quality and untrimmed. Also asked for no broccoli and got plenty of broccoli (forgiveable, not a big deal). 2) Moo Shu Pork was extremely SALTY. Needed a lot of water to choke it down, and this was the best item of the meal. Pancakes were crummy as well, clearly bought in bulk, wrapped in plastic wrap and forgotten about until my order came in. 3) Chicken with Cashews is supposed to be thin slices of white meat, but several pieces had thick rubbery blubbery bits of chicken skin on them. The sauce was thin and flavorless too. 4) steamed dumplings were extremely DOUGHY. 75% dough, all of them were stuck together by the time I arrived at home ten minutes later. And separately they we're virtually formless. Didn't have the nice crimping/pleating one would be used to. I would have given them another chance IF one item passed any standards. Hands down the best Chinese food in a 3 town radius and I've tried them all so I'm not just saying it. I took the other Yelper's advice and ordered the General Tso's chicken with the thin sliced white meat and it was soooo soooo good (amongst many other things). I wish I had the time to review every place I eat at because I rely heavily on reviews myself, but since I don't I only make the effort if a place is amazing or terrible. This place is tiny, easy to miss and the lack of reviews may make someone overlook or pass it by and inadvertently miss out on some of the areas ABSOLUTE BEST CHINESE FOOD. This is a Huntington Station local, inexpensive and consistent, exceptionally good Chinese take out restaurant that delivers. It is very clean inside and the owner is a sweetheart who is very warm and welcoming and will do the extra things u ask like fry ur wings extra crispy and then go the extra mile to poke holes in the container so ur wings don't get soggy. Places SHOULD always honor requests for their paying customers, but let's face it, most don't and will yes you to death then send you some soggy wings in a container dripping wet from the steam. The other counter girl (who may be an owner too, I'm not sure) is also very attentive to requests and speaks fluent Spanish which is pretty awesome given the area demographic; a mom and pop establishment that gets to know their customers and connects with the community is an added bonus. BEST Chinese food around. I'm VERY PICKY when it comes to my Chinese food. Not every Chinese food place makes GOOD sesame chicken or general tso's chicken or chicken and broccoli. But THIS PLACE, DOES!! 1st, their chicken and broccoli sauce is REALLY good. Very flavorful. 2nd, I always ask Chinese food places to make my sesame & general tso's chicken with white meat chicken only. But when I ask them to make it with the thin, sliced chicken that they use for chicken and broccoli, they get very confused and either mess it up or won't do it at all. NO OTHER PLACE will do it, but THIS PLACE will! Other places will use the thin, sliced chicken but will sauté it and not make it crispy. Who wants sautéed sesame chicken?! This is THE ONLY place that will use the thin, sliced chicken and fry it so it's crispy. It's SO DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend getting your sesame &/or general tso's chicken this way!! It's totally worth the extra charge! Flavors are really good here! I don't live nearby anymore but when I did live nearby, I came all the time.
