We had a wonderful dinner at Chef Lu's! The service is friendly and kind. The restaurant is spacious and beautiful paintings. The food was delicious! We had chicken fried rice and kung pao chicken! I highly recommend Chef Lu's for a flavorful meal!

Service was wonderful! The lady helped us was extremely pleasant! We later figured out that she must be the owner too. The dishes came out as we expected, which was a good thing. Overall we had a good experience.

Delicious and authentic! I had a sushi roll called the Cowboy Roll. Over never had anything like it and it was so good! It had seared Ribeye on the top. Brilliant! The owner who was also our server was the sweetest lady. I'm assuming she's Lu. We'll be back again when we visit from Missoula!

I wish I could do a 3.5 stars because the service was good and 2 out of 4 items were nice. The general tso's chicken was tasty and so was sashimi(salmon, tuna and octopus). I did not enjoy the rainbow roll or the royal roll. My wife said the ginger beer was awesome. Overall I do want to go back to try other items besides sushi.

Pork Chow Mein and General Tso's Chicken Combo

We've been hearing good things about this spot and finally stopped by for takeout. We got the crispy fish with prickly ash oil and orange sauce + pork chow mein combination dinner w/ general tso's chicken. I loved that the fish came with perfectly cooked broccoli and that the orange sauce wasn't too sweet. My husband really enjoyed the combination dinner. I stole more than a few bites of noodles! Service was fast and friendly. :)

Great food and have the best Hot and Sour soup great if you have a cold. Haven't tried the sushi but the food was spot on.

Take out General Tsos was mushy and tasteless. Would not chance ordering a full meal here. Very expensive.

We received 2 orders & were charged for both. This is a misleading website. It's not easy to use.

We came in and put our name down, got a table after about 40 minute wait. We were seated at the sushi bar which we didn't mind, got to see the sushi being made! I ordered a drink, the coconut mojito. It was so delicious. Perfectly sweet, tart, tropical, I can come here just for the drinks because they are perfect every single time. We knew what sushi rolls we wanted to we got our personal favorite, the Las Vegas roll. Then got the Godzilla roll and the Fresh roll. All were so so good, my favorite is still the Las Vegas roll but the fresh roll was delicious with the fresh lemon on top! I will return again and again for the sushi and drinks, it's top tier! I will say the service was lacking. I understand it was very busy but we didn't get checked up on once and we ran out of water at the beginning of the meal and never got a refill on water. I also wanted to try a drink from the specials menu but opted not to because our waitress never came around so I can order anything else. Maybe next time. Food was outstanding but on a busy day, the service was very disappointing.

My grandmother ordered a dish that she ended up not liking. She is disabled and sometimes has a hard time picking dishes. We asked if we could order something else for her. Our server, Julia, kindly brought us a menu for my grandmother to pick something else. The new manager of the store ended up coming to our table and very rudely and aggressively told us off for sending the food back and refused to take it off the bill. i told her we were fine paying for it and i would take it home. She was extremely rude and unprofessional and told us we have done this multiple times in the 3 months she has been there. We have not been into this restaurant since March and did not send any food back that time. This is actually the first time we have ever sent anything back. Our server Julia was amazing. The food was great as always. The new manager needs to learn some manners and be more professional. Very disappointed and upset, we usually have a great experience here. I am now weary of coming back.

All 3 courses were not good at all start 1st with the shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to tough. They were stuck on the skewers and were not easy to remove. The shrimp also was not cleaned and deveined properly. I would rate it a 1 out of 10. The blackened salmon was decent but the risotto that came with it was salty and had hard pieces of rice mixed that were not thoroughly cooked. I'd give it a 3 out 10 just cause the salmon was decent. The jalapeno cilantro infused fettuccini Alfredo sounds like it would be excellent but it was lacking flavor and the plate presentation was sloppy. The dish could have been good but it was lacking flavor and I'd rate it a 3 out of 10. The huckleberry berry shortcake was not good at all the biscuits say they were made from scratch but the tasted store bought and old and the lemon sorbet with the Rosina amaro pairing tasted like medicine. The two 3rd course desserts were the icing on a horrible dinner for restaurant week. Not sure if I'll ever go back to this restaurant.

Our server Larry took us on a tour of the restaurant and gave us the history. Just when we thought it couldn't get better, we tasted the food! Side note, the cocktails were delicious also! The food was beautifully plated and the beautifully paired flavors, sang on our tongues! The inside decor is dark with low lighting giving it a cozy , romantic , upscale feel. Unique decor and decorated cool. The first thing you see when you walk in is a glass floor that you can walk on and can see a table of people Dining in the basement. It's pretty cool. Our server was extremely attentive. Every time he walked by he would check our drinks or ask us if we needed anything... top notch ! The food - it's on the pricier side but worth the experience. We started off with the baked Brie and the blue cheese wedge. The baked Brie was unique. The Brie was wrapped in a house made phyllo dough and covered in caramel sauce. Accompanied by Some fruit and bread. Unique and well executed. The wedge was wonderful. Very tasty house made blue cheese dressing and bacon (I think adding some tomato or onion would have broken up the saltiness) but was still great tasting We ordered the sweet pork chop. I was impressed how moist and tender they cooked the pork.. I have to admit that it was too sweet. Even for me, who has a crazy sweet tooth. It was a unique pairing, but left no room for savory. We also ordered the seafood fettuccini. I believe they house make their pasta and Alfredo sauce. It didn't come with a ton of seafood (a couple large prawns and a few bacon wrapped scallops) but hit the spot. Their house bread they serve with your meal is the highlight! A little loaf of breast drenched in a garlic butter sauce! I'm salivating just thinking about it! I' have to admit, I have high expectations, and this place is probably the better of the many other local eateries I've tried . A little spendy- 2 people , no drinks with tip $130 ish Ambiance - 5 Food- 5 Service -5

The food here is fantastic. My sashimi was fresh and beautiful, with big portions. My two friends I…read morewas with each got rolls and loved the portions and flavor-- we've gone to several sushi places in Spokane and this is our favorite for the deliciousness of everything we tried. So, as far as the basics of quality ingredients and crafted sushi/sashimi, Sushi Blossom is tops. The reason for only four stars is the service. It was busy (we were there at 6 pm on a Tuesday, so also a great nod to how good it is here that the place was bustling on a weeknight). But our service was really pretty poor. I have no desire to put a young lady working as a server on blast, so I'll just say we waited an extra-long time, and felt as a table like we were irritating or inconveniencing our server, though we ordered right away, had no adjustments to what we ordered, and just sat waiting a long time patiently. We didn't complain, and thanked our server when she brought our food. But if I'd been with someone who didn't already love Sushi Blossom and was my guest, this would have felt pretty embarrassing, like we were doing something wrong by being customers. However, that was just one young lady on one night out of LOTS of dining experiences at Sushi Blossom, most of which have been excellent. So we'll happily be back, and put this one experience behind us. The food, once again, is so, so good. If you're looking for great sushi in Spokane, this is a fantastic place to try!
