These guys are absolutely legit, and no, they are not the same folks who opened Kokoro Ramen. This family is making some of the best Japanese fare in the Spokane/Cd'A metro, and that just makes me want to come back and try their Indonesian menu items even more. Flavors were spot on with the Hibachi meals ordered; and, my Bakso Soup (meatball) was delicious on it's own, but made spectacular with the house made hot sauces they brought me to mix in. A simple thing that is not-so-simple to make is Tempura Vegetables. As with everything else, it was excellent. Real nice family running this petite, strip mall resto. And look out, the place fills up fast. What a great lunch with my gals...

The food here is fantastic. My sashimi was fresh and beautiful, with big portions. My two friends I…read morewas with each got rolls and loved the portions and flavor-- we've gone to several sushi places in Spokane and this is our favorite for the deliciousness of everything we tried. So, as far as the basics of quality ingredients and crafted sushi/sashimi, Sushi Blossom is tops. The reason for only four stars is the service. It was busy (we were there at 6 pm on a Tuesday, so also a great nod to how good it is here that the place was bustling on a weeknight). But our service was really pretty poor. I have no desire to put a young lady working as a server on blast, so I'll just say we waited an extra-long time, and felt as a table like we were irritating or inconveniencing our server, though we ordered right away, had no adjustments to what we ordered, and just sat waiting a long time patiently. We didn't complain, and thanked our server when she brought our food. But if I'd been with someone who didn't already love Sushi Blossom and was my guest, this would have felt pretty embarrassing, like we were doing something wrong by being customers. However, that was just one young lady on one night out of LOTS of dining experiences at Sushi Blossom, most of which have been excellent. So we'll happily be back, and put this one experience behind us. The food, once again, is so, so good. If you're looking for great sushi in Spokane, this is a fantastic place to try!

He was such a light and so easygoing which made me feel comfortable to be there. I'm assuming the owner was the person who also came often to check on us. She was so nice and explained everything. I let them know I needed gluten free. They only add $2 to your bill, which blew my mind. That's the least I've ever been charged which made me feel special. If you are celiac, you'd want to ask the table to be gotten free, otherwise you will get cross contamination. If you'd like, there's a cute outfit you wear for when the staff come out to sing with you. It's a plastic wig with the hairstyle and a pretty shawl, which is great for photos. Some with the entrance area. It's just so beautiful and great for taking photos. The owner is Korean, who also does Korean cooking classes. The amount goes towards the class and everyone eats and hangs out a bit afterwards. My niece is really considering it. Their staff is small in number, so def give them grace in coming to give you service. We did wait 10-20 min between ordering and the cooking actually starting but to us that's fine. You don't get your food after ordering when going to any restaurant that isn't fast food. The cocktail drink took some time, too, but I was so distracted by the good times, it was also fine. Overall, great experience. Great food. The place looks great. Will definitely be coming back.

Okay for the prices I was expecting great portions but they were just not there…read more We got two starters, bao buns and the lucky budda rolls. The lucky budda rolls were delicious! It was vegetables and herbs and pork wrapped in rice paper. It was really refreshing and the sauces; peanut, sambal, and chili were so good! But they were 14 dollars and barely had any pork... The bao buns were good, the pork belly being really great. The bun itself was not great, but the sauce in the bao made up for it. But it was 12 DOLLARS for TWO small sized bao buns! The kalbi was tender and really nicely charred. The flavors were nice with a sweetness that paired well with the smoky flavor and was probably the best dish over all. The bombay chicken also had a really nice flavor, but was so dry it was nearly impossible to eat. I got the ko moo yang which is a marinated pork dish. The flavor wasn't exceptional - it was also dry. We did get sides; marinated greens, egg, radish, and noodles but the portions sizes for them were comically small. I swear there were 6 macaroni noodles. The Thai tea was overly sweet and this was mentioned-! they only had coconut milk and told us that but it was so chunky, a sort of curdle milke texture, it was hard to suck through the straw. Our service was very slow and a member of my party had mentioned that she didn't eat spicy food and so the server didn't bring over hot sauce for the rest of the party who do eat spicy? Plus it was very slow moving which was strange because there was no one there, like it took ten minutes for two drinks which were sodas. We arrived there around 3pm and left around 5pm. It didn't have interesting decor but the windows did allow a lot of natural light out. While I didn't pay attention two members of my party noticed that while the lobby was clean - the kitchen wasn't.

Short ribs made me slap my mom. The end.
