The restaurant (Roma Kitchen) is located at 10420 S Decatur Blvd #100 Las Vegas, NV 89141. The layout is quite simple here. This is a very locals type of place. They and have a Happy Hour from 4-6. They start us out with a couple "house" ice waters. For my first drink, I'm having a Negroni. This is made with Still Gin, Campari and sweet vermouth. The server is actually making the drinks! This is perfect! It's well balanced and garnished! They use a large ice cube! It does have a straw in it which is odd. Still, it tastes very good! I'm impressed! I love the oldies music in here. Decent volume too. For our appetizers, we are having the warm olives made with olive oil, garlic and red chili flakes and meatballs with pomodoro sauce. That bowl (with the meatballs) is huge! That's a lot of sauce! That meatball is good! I love that sauce too! Add some parmigiano cheese! I had hot pepper flakes too (self provided). Yummy! The olives are served in olive oil and are warm and delicious! This is an open kitchen so you can see chefs hard at work. There's a decent crowd in here. There's not a lot of decor in here but it's very clean in this place. For his entree, my friend is having the Chicken Parmigiana made with mozzarella and pomodoro sauce. I am having the Spicy Sausage Penne Alls Vodka. This is made with pomodoro sauce, cream, red pepper and Italian sausage. It's nice and hot! Good portion! I live the crunchy outside of the sausage! This is great! The chicken parmigiano entree includes vegetables (broccoli) and potatoes (or penne pasta). The broccoli is really good with a peppery flavor. He loved those potatoes too! It's hot and steamy! For my second drink, I'm having the Whistle Pig Manhattan made with Whistle Pig (6 Year) whiskey, sweet vermouth and Amarena cherries as a garnish. This is good! It's well balanced and nicely garnished. I like the use of the large ice cube too. They fill your water regularly too. Mike says his chicken parm is moist and tender. It's the best he's had since moving out here 15 years ago. The server is unbelievably attentive and incredibly nice! For my dessert, I'm having the [Jon] Taffer's Brown Buttered Bourbon Affogato. I've been watching Bar Rescue all week (I'm on vacation). An affogato is a simple Italian dessert made by pouring a shot of hot espresso over a scoop of cold vanilla gelato or ice cream. The name "affogato" means "drowned" in Italian, referring to the way the hot coffee melts the ice cream. It is a quick and easy dessert that can be enjoyed immediately, with optional additions like liqueurs, chocolate shavings, or nuts. I am a huge fan of Bar Rescue. I'm dying to try this! OMG! Look at this! You can pour the espresso and bourbon on the dessert as desired! This is the best dessert I've ever had in my life. It's so easy to eat. This music is the bomb! Oldies (60's and up to the 70's) all night! What a fantastic meal here! You can't go wrong!

Solid 4.5 stars. Good food, service was good too. Half a star for interior, clashes a bit with the food and romantic atmosphere this restaurant is trying to creat. Maybe if to close front windows, so it feels more secluded from the parking lot. We got peppers with burrata, stuffed artichoke (must try), gnocchi and eggplant Parmesan. My least favorite was eggplant Parmesan. It was dry. Overall, great experience. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. I believe her name was Lori. Price is reasonable. Will definitely come back to try more things from the menu

It's not bad. Had an InKind reward to use, there was a couple Italian places nearby, ended up here. Went on a Friday night, and it was pretty busy. One room had tables near the door (not great when it's chilly), and one room was very loud. We chose the chilly room. Lara was our server, she was great. She was knowledgeable, kind and attentive. We started with the calamari. It was served with a spicy sauce. If you can't handle spice, this isn't the sauce for you. I asked for a non spicy pomodoro. It was kinda flat, mixing them helped dull the kick. The calamari was cooked well and tasty. I did chicken parm w pasta instead of veggie and potatoes, woman did the lemon chicken after talking through some options with Lara. I kept asking if things were house made. There wasn't a heartwarming story or boasting about things made in house (I mean who wants to go to a place that just serves premade food, in any economy, not me!) they made the sauce, but not the pasta itself, and they have bread and butter you can order, bread also not made in house. The music isn't what I'd expect in a place that looks so old school Italian. It was a lot of 80's hair band type stuff. Which I love, just didn't expect. Things took a while to come, but Lara was good about checking in. They do have generous portions, I'll give them that. The chicken boob took the whole plate, the pasta came in a bowl. It took some getting into to experience the acidity of the tomato the way I wanted to, the cheesiness was there though. The lemon chicken was pretty acidic, and that's coming from someone who adores acidic things. The parm grew on me but it still wasn't spectacular. We decided to do dessert. We were torn between cheesecake and tiramisu. The cheesecake said homemade, tiramisu did not. Lara said both were. We did the tiramisu, it's not something I usually order, lotta chocolate on the plate, but I liked it. Woman eats it out more than I do and said it didn't compare to an Italian place she really enjoyed it at. With them being so close to butchers block it would've been cool to see if they got their meats there. Alas I'm not sure if I'd go back. I think they have happy hour, I'd be up for that, it's just hard to find a reason to go back when there are places that make more of the menu in house and the food is amazing from first bite.

The food here was absolutely delicious. One of my favorite things to order any Italian restaurant is the meatballs. These were phenomenal, very tender very juicy. The Caprice was delicious. The carpaccio was amazing. The service here was great. Everybody was very friendly. And this ambience here made you feel very welcomed. Such a great spot.

It's been about two years since I've been here which is two years too long. The food here is authentic and amazing. We started with the bread with fresh garlic on it which is thick slices of bread and so yummy. With that we had the stuffed artichoke which sits in a chicken broth that tastes like an authentic Jewish chicken soup. (Don't tell mom)...Take the garlic bread and use it to soak up the soup and omg!!! The artichoke and bread were amazing. I've never had an artichoke in broth. I recommend both of these. The avocado bacon salad was superb. They split the salad for us which was very nice and the taste of this combination was really good. I added fresh Parmesan to mine which enhanced the combination in this salad. I had the meat lasagna which was ok in my opinion. It was very heavy on the ricotta and did not taste like your typical lasagna. It had a good amount of meat and the sauce was good but unfortunately the cheese in this dish over powered the pasta which was hard to find as the pasta was so soft is just mixed in with the cheese. It's a shame as I was really looking forward to a good lasagna. For me personally, I would not recommend this or order this again as it was challenging to eat because of taste was pure cheese, heavy and just was not what I expected or liked. It was like a smothered mess with not a great taste. My friend had the branzino with vegetables and said it was really good. It looked amazing. Our server Tom was awesome. Our glasses were never empty and he was always checking on us but never asked how we enjoyed the main course as I would have told him the lasagna was not good. Again, the food here is good just this lasagna was not. I will be back and I'll stick with the eggplant or a chicken dish. I highly recommend this place as it's the highest quality of food off the strip with decent local prices. They expanded and added a full bar. It's a great looking place and adding more seating and a bar shows how well this place is doing. I would order everything again except the lasagna. It's a shame because everything else here has always been amazing.

Excellent service and food. We have been ordering from here on Uber Eats and decided we wanted to dine in. The Chicken Francese reminds us of food we had when we lived in NYC. Our waitress, Michelle, was very friendly and a great server. The restaurant is great for any dinner, date night, or just having food with friends. I'm so happy we found this place - the food is excellent and won't disappoint. The portion sizes are great; I always have leftovers. Parking is available right in front.

The best food in Vegas is off the strip and this place is some of the best Italian food in the state!! From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with great service and feel like you are at home. Michelle did a great job making our party feel like family and we will be back soon for sure!!

Let me preface this review by advising I'm grading on a major curve due to this restaurant being located in Green Valley (epicenter of chain restaurants and geriatric clientele). We dined on a Saturday night, table for four. The interior is nicely decorated with an open kitchen and well-spaced tables. Our server Amy was very sweet and accommodated a few special requests with no issues. After we were seated she immediately placed salt and pepper shakers on the table in front of me, tacitly acknowledging the fact that most of the Green Valley residents who dine here are vehemently allergic to properly seasoned food. We started with both bread options - plain and garlic which were both fresh and served with both butter and oil/vinegar options. We also shared an order of meatballs in a marinara sauce. Once I added a copious amount of salt they were quite tasty and clearly housemade. Great start! For my entree I ordered the branzino and it was an excellent choice - I was really impressed with the preparation as it was perfectly cooked with a flaky tender inside and delicious crispy skin (I'm a crispy fish skin fanatic and that's a difficult result to achieve without overcooking the inside). It was in a flavorful lemon butter sauce and was very well seasoned. I didn't even have to add salt! Everyone else at the table enjoyed their food. I won't comment on those entrees here as I did not taste them myself. I can report that the portions are VERY generous - even rivaling the Cheesecake Factory portions being served down the road (a restaurant with a line out the door on any given Saturday night - welcome to Green Valley!) Dinner for four came to exactly $200 before tax and tip which, considering the quality of the food and epic portions was a great deal. That also includes two large glasses of delicious Sauvignon Blanc (really nice wine selection here too for a neighborhood restaurant!) Overall I'm glad to have a neighborhood option like this one close to my home and I would definitely return just for that crispy skin branzino!

Consistently amazing food and exceptional service (Tom was great). Always a very enjoyable time with great music and a very friendly clientele. We will be back.

Stopped in for Happy Hour. Found out they are adding Gaming to the bar, not overjoyed about this. There was some construction commotion going on but whatever. We were approached right away and our drinks came out swiftly. Happy Hours of course and decent prices. The food; Meatballs are real good but felt the Marinara was lacking some of the usual flavor. The Clams are very sandy The Marsala was a bit well it was not as good as last time in that the sauce needed to reduce more to get that nice brown color and sweet flavor that we usually love about this dish! No photos but if you like Garlic then the Garlic Bread is for you as it's Loaded! Yummy! Alfredo was in the bar doing his as usual great job!

We stumbled across this place when looking for new Italian restaurants to try. My husband is a NY Italian, so he has high standards for food. The ambiance was inviting when we walked in. We were immediately seated for our reservation when we arrived. The waiter was attentive and personable. He answered our questions, gave suggestions, and even modified a dish to include both a sauce and pasta preference for my husband. The food was absolutely delicious, and portions were more than ample. My husband said it was the best Italian food he's had in a long while, and that is saying a lot.

There were people sitting at the bar watching something, I am guessing basketball. Friendly atmosphete.there were a few table also.

    How are the clams?

    Absolutely Fabulous...

They have a sign out front stating "now serving lunch". But on their website they only have dinner hours listed?

They are now open for lunch. We enjoyed a terrific lunch there a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully they'll update their website soon.

Do they have gluten free pasta?

When he returned we asked which were which he said "we only had one kind so they're all the same." I feel he should have told us before serving them since they were $4 each! I ordered coippino which at $46 was expensive but I wanted a treat. Hubby ordered large clam chowder in bread bowl and Caesar salad. Cioppino lists first ingredient as crab. What I was served had no crab, 2 overcooked shrimp and rubbery calamari. The sauce was flavorful but so disappointing otherwise. I asked about the crab and was told "no crab" and I was offered additional scallops as compensation. He brought three small scallops on a plate. Hubby was served two small bread bowls of chowder with the explanation of "we are out of large bowls". Again, it should have been discussed prior to serving that there was a substitution. Who wants two big loaves of bread bowl??? The salad adequate-- a big bowl of romaine with croutons with a side of dressing. All in all not worth the over $150 it cost. Not in the least! I saw some reviews saying that a lot of the positive reviews are just from family and friends, but I wanted to say I'm just a regular customer who randomly discovered this spot and it truly deserves the hype. Their lunch special is such an amazing deal and honestly one of the reasons I keep coming back. It runs from 2-5 PM, which I love because so many places end their lunch specials way too early. It comes with shrimp (or your choice of seafood), rice, corn, potatoes, and sausage. For the price and the amount of food you get, you really can't beat it. And don't even get me started on the flavor. The seasoning is incredible. I usually get the mix with all three flavors, but this past weekend I tried the Louisiana Cajun flavor and it was SO GOOD. I'm genuinely surprised this place isn't packed every time I come because in my opinion it beats Hot N Juicy, Boiling Crab, and other seafood boil spots EVERY time. The service has also been amazing every single visit. The owner Will (I believe that's his name) is honestly one of the nicest and most welcoming owners I've met.
