Very mixed review. Was viewing this place for a while and decided to have a date with myself and I. Got AYCE option with snow crab, shrimp and white clams. Service was absolutely great! My server lady was very attentive, everything was fast and tasted pretty good. But!!! When I got home I got food poisoning. And I didn't eat anything other than that. So I know it was from storming crab. I sure wanted to give it 5 stars for service. But food poisoning would get it to 1.

We arrived just after they opened today. We ordered the #3 combination which serves 2-3 diners. It was fresh and delicious (see attached photo). Our server Ana was friendly and attentive answering all our questions. We could not finish the very generous portion and took the remainder home and had it for dinner. The menu is extensive with many dishes. We will return

Fried Shrimp Basket....this was actually really delicious with sweet potato fries

So, this is a place I never knew was here even though I've driven by many times. My son asked me to meet him here for dinner so he could have the AYCE boil, I'm not much into seafood and am severely allergic to both crab and lobster (I know your asking, then why would you go?) I checked on the menu and noticed they had other things to eat. We get there and there's maybe 5 cars out front (this was a Tuesday night about 5:30pm) we walk in and there are only 2 tables occupied and we were the 3rd which makes me a bit Leary trying a new place out but, my kid has had it before and really loved it so, why not? We are seated rather quickly and asked our drink order which comes out quickly and we gave our order my son wanting his delicious seafood boil, she then starts ranting that we both have to have the AYCE ummm...where is this on the menu posted? Maybe I missed it...anywho, I explained I'm allergic to lobster and crab and she then said "oh, that's an exception" and then told me it was ok to order my shrimp basket with sweet potato fries. She was kind and always there (a little too much tbh) checking if my son was ready for more seafood (oh, they were out of hard boiled eggs to add to it which was a bit disappointing he said) and if we needed a refill on our sodas (each time they were only half empty) it's appreciated but, felt we really couldn't enjoy our meal, not sure I will be back here anytime soon. It's a decent place but, if I'm gonna spend that much for 2 people I would rather have a steak dinner imo.

My entire pregnancy I've been craving seafood boil. So I'm kind of upset with myself that it took me this long to realize this place existed?! All the servers were super kind and the vibe of the place was very welcoming. Service was great, never had to worry about not having anything to drink because there was always someone coming to bring us a new soda or water and the food came out fast! We got the AYCE which is $41.95 starting. Started off with clam chowder, shrimp basket with Cajun fries and fried calamari. We got our separate seafood boil bags since my husband can't handle spicy food and my goodness if I can eat here every single day, I would! It was so delicious and just what the doctor ordered which is more protein for my pregnancy hehe. I got snow crabs, mussels, shrimp head off, sausage, corn, potatoes and paid extra for 2 hard boiled eggs. I highly recommend getting the AYCE if you're super hungry and know that you won't have a lot of leftovers because they will charge for leftovers if you have A LOT left. My husband and I ate majority of our food and did not get charged extra. However, they also have a separate menu that isn't AYCE if you feel like you can't eat that much and would want to take food home. Dessert isn't included in AYCE, which is fine because all of the dessert is priced fairly under $10. I highly recommend the tiramisu! Will definitely be back here soon!

This crab place was absolutely amazing. The restaurant was very clean, the seafood was fresh, and the flavors were on point. Every bite was well-seasoned and delicious. From the atmosphere to the food, everything was top-tier. Hands down one of the best seafood spots I've been to, and I'll definitely be returning. Every time I come to this restaurant I always have good service. I have made this my go to place at least once a month.

Storming Crab has a delicious shrimp meal (I mix all 3 and get mild), crispy chicken wings, flavorful seafood bread (taste great heated up in the oven for leftovers), and perfectly cooked potatoes and corn. I've dined in the restaurant, which is very clean, and also often order Uber Eats delivery. My orders are always correct, fresh, taste great, and delivered in a timely manner. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We decided to come try Storming Crab for their Christmas menu. The inside is also super spacious designed to look like a ship. For $48 we got cheese bread, fried shrimp, fries, 1 lb of snow crab, 1 lb of shrimp, two potatoes, and two corns. There was so much food for two people and Sam's spice level with the Cajun sauce was extremely satisfying for us. Not too spicy. Our waitress was super attentive regardless ensuring we always had a full glass of water. We had such a great experience!

Today my husband and I wanted some seafood. I ordered the shrimp fried basket, and it was delicious. Is actually one of the best fried shrimp basket I ever had. I had it with sweet potatoes fries. I was very happy with the choice I made. The service was excellent but make sure to ask for Ana for assistance. She is the best!! The ambience is clean and very pleasant to bring the family or friends.

I've been here a few times already. Every time I'm here the staff is always friendly, on point with their service and making sure I'm not missing anything. The foods always good every time I have ate here and I've never had issues after I leave. I'm always going for the AYCE which personally I feel the price is right for what they offer. It is a bit quiet but I like it and their selection in music is good. Right now they have Christmas music on which of course it is December. Besides that their ambiance is chill and welcoming. I will for sure continue coming to this place.

We got the lunch special at $28 and it was almost 4pm (cut off). I got the lobster tail and shrimp with no head on garlic butter with one corn and potato. It was very scrumptious. The shrimp was very easy to peel. Service was great and quick. Our lady server was always with a smile and refilled our drinks promptly. The whole place was very nicely decorated and very clean. We plan to return and try more. The cheese bread was great!!! We ordered regular French fries and sweet potato fries which were both great. The reason for the last star was - both of us ended up with allergies. Something may not be too fresh in our seafood. We both had shrimps.

We had a good meal and managed to try several different things. I only saw one waitress for several tables but she did a great job. We also received free bread as others have captured. The walk in entrance has projections that respond to your footsteps. Fun for the kids. It was not too loud, you get a bib, gloves, plenty of napkins, and hand wipes for pre or post meal cleanup. I had the 1lb black mussel lunch combo for $26 that included 1/2 corn on the cob and a small potato. The sauce had a good flavor as Storming Signature with "Sam's" for spicy. It was not overpowering spicy but tasty so ymmv. The lobster tail was pretty-cut but quite warm after finishing half of the mussels so it was difficult to remove from the shell and pierced thru the plastic gloves. The oysters were the star of the meal and we enjoyed them. The horseradish was tasty on the raw oysters. Our option two go to is salt and lemon juice makes them even better. We got out of there for a little under $90 with two soft drinks yet had some cod, sweet potato fries, and calamari to take home.

Very large crab boil spot in a great plaza with lots of parking. There was no wait for a table, however only one waitress for the whole place. Service was fast and the waitress was nice. We ordered: Calamari - these were okay, kind of rubbery and was only served w ketchup. Good flavor tho Frog legs - tasted great! well cooked and a big portion for an app Sweet potato fries - would 100% pass on these. Very lackluster (no seasoning, not crispy) Lunch special for $26 was great. We chose the crab legs and shrimp. It came with a red potato and corn! Got mild with the mix all 3 sauce. The mild was spicier than expected but very tasty! The shrimp were huge and the portion of crab legs were good too. I like how they offer to keep it in the bag or to pour it on the platter for easy eats. Overall great bang for your buck. I would skip the apps and go straight for the seafood boil! The lunch special is a great deal, and they have a lot of all day combos as well that are a good price.

I went home dreaming about that damn Gumbo, so much that it's why I returned for again to get some! This isn't like your traditional Gumbo. It's doesn't have seafood pieces, just stripped juicy chicken and flavorful sausage, rice, onions all in a savory broth that isn't too salty. My husband went with a Fried Catfish Po Boy, his weakness. The Po Boy was loaded with the fried catfish on a large roll, a good value for $14. Unfortunately, my husband thought one of his favorite foods was just okay. He said the bread wasn't special and the flavors were okay. Again, there wasn't anything wrong with it, but it wasn't something he'd order again. The Chicken & Sausage Gumbo was okay, but not as bold on flavor and seasoning as I expected from a gumbo. The gumbo did have a soupy consistency with plenty of large pieces of chicken and a celery flavor. I felt the same as my husband did about my dish. Good, but not something memorable. Overall, I love to support local business so if I see them around at another event I'd be willing to try some of their other menu options. The Boudin Ball Po Boy and Louisiana Purchase both sounded interesting.

Our first visit was totally a one-off as this visit made up for all the initial deficiencies. As much as we usually try to avoid fried foods, we threw caution to the wind and ordered fried items for lunch. I have always enjoyed not only the food, location, but the excellent service. So being hungry one evening I thought to go again as I had been there in awhile. It was lovely weather so I sat outside on the tavern side as it was fairly crowded and I didn't have a reservation. I don't care to sit inside as the restaurant side is very noisy. The inside of the tasteful bar side is quieter. I have eaten there in the past and felt very comfortable. I ordered The Herbalist: Prairie organic gin, fresh lime, muddled basil & mint. I had it with vodka, per the waitress's suggestion. It was ok, but the overpowering taste of mint reminded me of a mint mojito with lime overtones, and the basil wasn't even a footnote. If you do like mojitos though, then this would be good if you enjoy a twist of lime as your background notes. It leans to the refreshing versus cloyingly sweet. Stephanie, my waitress, asked how I liked the drink and when she found out I did not care for it, gallantly exchanged it with an Old Fashioned. No complaints on that drink. Great for sipping. I ordered the Blackened Wild Ono (Wahoo) with a Potato bun / cabbage slaw / cilantro / pickled onion / remoulade. I asked her to just put the bun on the side as I wanted to just enjoy the fish as I had not had it in ages. I realized it came with French fries and so I asked if they could make them extra crispy. The fish was blackened and so I expected some saltiness, but it was so overbearing and the fish itself was a bit overcooked. But because I was incredibly hungry, by time the fish came out, I decided I would just eat it. The Frenchfries were perfect, and the bread that came with my drink at the start of evening helped to soak up the saltiness along with my water. When it came time for the check, Stephanie asked me how the Ono was. I let her know that her service was impeccable (it really was, (very patient, professional, and caring), but that in the future maybe to not salt the fish so much and to not grill/sear so long. My only intent was trying to just be helpful for the next customer. When she came back she said she talked to her manager and they would not charge me for the Ono! I was surprised of course as I had eaten it and most of the fries. But she said they just wanted to make things right. I have to say I was very surprised and grateful with the care that they continue to express with their customers. Thank you for making my evening Stephanie and King's Fish House. I will be back.

The pasta, honestly is one of the best I've ever had. I also like their Michelada (with mango cart beer). It is $12 for a small cup which is a bit pricier than other places but I think it's worth it. I'd recommend sticking to the regular menu instead of all you can eat. There are quite a few limitations, you have to order in small portions, finish before ordering more and they charge for leftovers. My experience with the AYCE option hasn't been great, but the regular menu is solid. One small thing I do like is the paper table covers, they replace them for each customer and it's actually nice for kids as they can draw on the table. We usually bring crayons but it would be a nice touch if they provided them too.

We purchased the All-You-Can-Eat option, but we only received one round of food because our server never came back to check on us. We arrived at 6:30 PM, and by 8:27 PM we were still waiting just to place a second order. During that entire time, we watched our server repeatedly check on other tables while completely skipping over ours. What made the situation even more frustrating was that two tables that arrived after us had their orders taken before us and were able to order multiple additional rounds, while we were still waiting just to be acknowledged. When the server finally came back, it was only to ask if we wanted dessert. I explained that I didn't want dessert because it had taken so long just to try to place another order. I then asked if I could speak with a manager. The server told me, "The manager is really busy and works in the kitchen." We waited longer, and the server returned again saying the manager still couldn't come out because he was busy. At that point, after nearly two hours, we still had not been helped or given the opportunity to fully use the all-you-can-eat option we paid for. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. We came expecting good food and service, but the lack of attention and inability to speak with a manager made the situation even worse. I hope management takes customer service more seriously in the future so other guests don't have the same experience. We finally had the chance to speak with the manager and he said that all he can do for us charge us Al a carte or take off one order off.
