I came here early on a Sunday morning and it quickly got packed and busy within the first opening hour or two. Service was great and interior decor was really cute. i ended up ordering the chicken and waffles and shared the ube bread pudding. Food was well portioned and prices very reasonable. Chicken and waffles was perfect with the right amount of crunch and sweetness with every bite. If I wasn't so full, I probably would have enjoyed the ube bread pudding more lol. I also ended up getting their breakfast burrito to go. Didn't eat it myself but my partner who did said it was amazing and wanted to try it fresh sometime in person. I was part of a larger party to celebrate a friend, and the experience here was okay. We were able to reserve a private room and that option is perfect for a larger party. It was a Saturday during peak brunch time, so we completely understood that it was busy, but our server came off as very off-putting and seemed annoyed with the few requests we had. We asked for a quick group photo before our food arrived and her immediate response was "I only have 5 minutes" - we gathered together quickly and the photo took maybe 1 minute to take. We had friends who ordered bottomless mimosas, however their refills seemed limited. Our server also seemed annoyed towards the end when we asked for more to-go boxes as my friend did not receive any for her two entrees; she provided us with two small boxes where the food had to be stuffed in. At the end, we asked a different server to take a photo of our group outside of the restaurant and she did so happilly, and took more than one photo from different angles which was appreciated. The food itself was okay, nothing to write home about. I got the cuban sandwich with truffle fries and the sandwich itself was soggy, the meat was on the dryer side, and it was lacking flavor. After putting salt on it, it tasted better, but I wouldn't order it again. Our group enjoyed the other drinks they got, ranging from coffees to cocktails. The ambiance and service matter to me a lot when going out to eat, and it's disheartening to feel like a server is annoyed with your group from the jump even when we are respectful and tip well. read more

Stopped by for a quick brunch with the family. Nice, simple and modern decor throughout . It got packed really quickly on the weekend so checking in with the host before the whole party is here is recommended. We got seated rather quickly so it wasn't too long of a wait. We got the chicken with syrup, egg Benedict, and breakfast sandwich for our toddler. We also ordered coffee and OJ to go along with our brunch orders. Food came quickly and everything was good for the most part, the scrambled egg was quite hard and the chicken was a little dry. CRAFTkitchen is a true family favorite for us -- we're here a couple times a month, and it never disappoints. In my opinion, it's hands down the best brunch/breakfast/lunch spot on Eastern. I usually come on weekends, so stopping in during the week was such a nice surprise -- no wait, seated right away, and somehow (for the third time in a row!) we ended up at the exact same table with the exact same amazing server... Elizabeth. At this point it feels meant to be. She is truly the best. I believe she bartends in the evenings, but during brunch she takes a few tables and absolutely makes the experience. We started with drinks -- my daughter ordered the hot chocolate (she swears by it, especially made with whole milk), and I had a cappuccino served with their house-made biscotti. That little biscotti is such a nice touch -- not overly sweet, just the perfect bite alongside the coffee. We both decided to branch out this visit instead of ordering our usuals. My daughter went with the seasonal strawberry pancakes, and wow... these are not your average pancakes. Five thick, fluffy pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, a house-made strawberry purée, and whipped cream. They're decadent in the best way -- she made it halfway through and we happily took the rest home. Definitely grab these while they're still on the menu. I ordered the carnitas omelet, which was new for me and recommended by Elizabeth as one of the chef's go-to favorites. It didn't look as massive as some of their other dishes at first, but once I started eating, it was actually the perfect portion. The carnitas are rich and flavorful, balanced with the cream and fresh tomatoes. Super satisfying without being too heavy -- I'll absolutely order it again. The atmosphere here is always on point -- clean, welcoming, and just a great vibe whether you're coming as a couple or with a group. I ordered the Chicken and Waffle with maple syrup, but when it arrived the syrup had already been poured over everything. Because of that, the waffle became soggy and lost its crunch, and the dish ended up much sweeter than I expected. This place was such a cute brunch spot away from the strip craziness. They had bottomless mimosas which came in three flavors: prickly pear, classic, and mango. After about four rounds, everybody was feeling good! and they had a mix of classic brunch food as well as Mexican brunch food(think huevos rancheros and Chilaquiles) This would've been five star review, but I can't ignore that while we were there we did see a bug on the wall crawling and my food experience was done at that point . For May brunch the bitches were out early this month! One of our OG bitches is back in town visiting so we took the chance to revisit a previous favorite. DRINKS (5STARS) $19 Bottemless Mimosa (Mango, Prickly Pear, Orange): These were fantastic, made just the way I like them. Champagne and the "fragrance" of juice, you know for color and all. Could you taste the champagne? Yes, but it did not overpower the mimosa. You could taste the juice as well, but once again it was just enough. A great balance of the two, such a great balance that I was feeling it after 2...so I had 2 more, just to make sure. FOOD (4.5STARS) We had the Monkey Bread, Chicken&Waffles and the CK Special. The monkey bread is made to order. I liked it but my friend did not. This is not the soft texture monkey bread, it's more of a crunchy bread, I don't know if its flash fried or it's crunchy because of the boiler, but either is crunchy, buttery and sweet. It is crunch on the outside, but nice and soft inside. Chicken&Waffles: Not chicken wings, but chicken tenders. At first, I was kind of side eyeing the tenders, but when I tasted it, it was moist and savory. Chicken had like a savory type of seasoning, lightly breaded and fried. Unfortunately it does not come with sides, it is just the dish. That's ok, the sides are very reasonably priced, so I added smashed potatoes and a fried egg to my order. Perfect pairing, I stacked my fork with the perfect bite; waffle, egg, potato, dab of ketchup, chicken. Just thinking about it has my eyes rolling to the back of my head, the -ish was DELICIOUS! CK Special: Eggs, Potatoes and bacon OR Portuguese sausage OR turkey bacon. Super easy, super simple. I will be going back, I gotta try the Short Rib Hash and the Creme Brulee Stuffed French Toast. Our food came out fast and it was still nice and hot!! It is a super cute trendy little brunch scene vibe going on. Our server guessed we were from San Diego and he was right, he grew up like 10-15 min from where we live. He was easy going and made us feel at home. Definitely my favorite part of the experience was our waiter! Only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is two things actually. I asked for over medium eggs and I got a fried egg with no yolk at all. The worst part was the size of my plate! I was trying to cut my steak and my food kept falling on the table because the plate was so small. Overall a great place to eat! We have been here before but it's been a while. In fact it's been so long that I don't remember a bar being here inside. Either way, a great addition and a beautiful space! Since we're here mid-afternoon on a Monday, we had no such problems getting seated quickly. What did we love here? That's easy - the drinks. Excellent for both the blood orange and regular orange vodka cocktails. The Korean fried Chicken Sammy had great flavor, very crispy, and on a Ube bun - super fun sandwich. Now I've had so many short rib grilled cheese sandwiches in my life that I feel I am one with that sandwich! Like when I see lobster bisque, a short rib grilled cheese is gonna be ordered when it's on the menu. Unfortunately a miss on this dish as there may have been just a slice of cheese on the bread not crispy, or lathered in butter, or enough cheese on it to break a window if thrown. Everyone is different, but I love a gooey, buttery, crispy grilled cheese. The short rib filling was also just ok. Even when it's almost 110 degrees outside like today. The garlic Parmesan fries were ok, good flavor however just barely warm when served. Will we return? Absolutely, it's a beautiful place and the drinks are a star here. Today was my second time visiting CRAFT Kitchen. I knew it would be busy since it's Valentine's Day, but I've been craving that crème brûlée stuffed French toast since my visit in December-and we wanted to take the kids out for a Valentine's Day treat! Our experience today was just as great as the first time, and we even had the same server, Christian. Both visits, the service was phenomenal, and even with the Valentine's Day crowd, his service never wavered. The food is absolutely delicious. My personal favorite is the Crème Brûlée Stuffed French Toast-the custard filling is so creamy and the perfect consistency. I'm a HUGE French toast fan, and it's always my go-to breakfast choice. This one is definitely in my top three. My daughter ordered the "mini" chocolate chip pancakes, which were definitely not mini-they were pretty big, and she even brought home leftovers! My husband and son both ordered the CK Breakfast Burrito, and my son devoured his breakfast with portion because he loved it so much. And I can't forget the Portuguese sausage-I really enjoyed it, especially with a little maple syrup. The only recommendation I have is for the restaurant to add some booster seats. The host mentioned they only carry high chairs, but my daughter has outgrown those and is still too small to sit comfortably at the table without struggling to reach, which makes it harder for her to eat without making a mess. This didn't affect our overall experience, though. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great, and the prices were right in line with other nice brunch spots. South of LAS, it is worth the drive! We were in town for a family gathering and rented a vehicle for the weekend, so why not branch way off the strip? I had their Potato Cake and smoked Salmon Benedict, and this rendition of a Benedict is the best I've had. The potato cake was made from scalloped potatoes and then fried. It was the perfect vessel; I did not miss the English muffin at all. The yolk from the poached egg, plus the hollandaise sauce, was balanced. I enjoyed the fried capers and cherry tomatoes, which added salinity and umami. Their strawberry tres leches pancakes were the perfect sweet note to end the meal. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The tres leches sauce wasn't too sweet, and the sliced strawberries added some freshness. The service was top-notch, and our coffee cups were always full. There was hardly any waiting, from being seated to receiving our food. The place is spacious, great for groups or a date. Parking was free. I highly recommend this place! read more
