Was vegas for the weekend and we decided to try this "all you cat eat" spot. Wait was quite a while, almost an hour maybe? Food must be pretty darn good. We finally got seated and it took them about 15 friggin minutes for anyone to approach our table, hence the 3 stars. Seafood was really good, crab legs, shrimp, and mussels. Any exra sauce is extra $$$ so we tried one of their spicy ones. REALLY GOOD! No complaints on their sea boils. We also ordered some other stuff, fried calamari which was good, some of it was uncooked tho or like the breading was wet or raw cuz it was like curled in a little ball. Their sides were was corn and potatoes SUCKED BAD. Potatoes were really plain and super soft, too soft. Their corn tho, oh man their corn was bad. Totally overcooked almost turned into masa(corn dough) in your mouth. Tasted horrible too. Over all 4 solid stars on their food but I'm giving 3 at the end because like I mentioned earlier, it took them way too long to greet us. Two of the guys kept looking at our table as if wondering who's gona greet us or take our order, instead of taking the initiative and talking to us and give us at least a, " we'll be with you guys in just a minute or can I grab you something to drink while you wait for your server" nah nothing. I've been wanting to try this location since I live closer to here and found out they have ayce. I got the Dungeness crab ayce so if you order that one then you can only get 3 max since it takes 30 mins per order and you have 90 mins to dine. The first time my crab came out good, but the second time it was over cooked and hard to eat. I also got crawfish so that was a separate ayce price and if I knew they were so tiny I wouldn't have gotten any. There are plenty of seats and I did go on a Saturday evening. The waiters are nice!! Just watch out if you have light colored nails because my white nails turned yellow from eating even with gloves on. read more

We did the ayce premium add on and it was worth it! IF you can eat at least 2 whole lobsters. You also have the option of dungeness. We did the crab n spice - medium and it was perfect, just enough heat without being overwhelming. We also tried the garlic butter but that was just okay but then we had it mixed w the crab n spice sauce and it was perfect w a squeeze of lemon. The crab legs were a little overcooked as some others have mentioned, making it hard to pull out of the shell. Lobster was cooked perfectly. I'm giving it 4 stars cause they don't give you the traditional crab leg crackers but they use a scissor cracker - making it a little difficult to use. Crab N Spice is good for what it is, but honestly it can be really hit or miss. Some days I leave thinking, "Oh my God, this might be one of the best bang for ur buck seafood boils in the city," and other days I'm like... yeah, I could've gone somewhere else. They recently changed their all-you-can-eat rules and added a family-style option, but I feel like they're taxing for literally EVERYTHING now and the rules are super strict. Nothing against our server because they were just following the rules, but some of it didn't make sense. If we're doing family style, why can we only get one corn at a time for the whole table? At least let us get two! The ambiance is always good, and we got seated pretty quickly even though it was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday. The biggest issue this last visit was how long the food took. Usually I don't have that problem here, but every bag took forever to come out, they kept getting parts of our order wrong, and then when we finally did get our food, some of the seafood was overcooked and starting to get tough. I'm hoping it was just an off day because I've had plenty of good experiences here before. I'll definitely give it another try, but this most recent visit had me wondering if it's starting to go downhill. Hopefully next time is back to the Crab N Spice I'm used to! read more

I recently visited Crab and Spice for their all‑you‑can‑eat seafood and lobster special, and it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. The crab legs were extremely small and so thin that you practically needed tools just to get any meat out of them. The lobster tail I received was even worse -- when I cut it open, it was green inside, filled with green water, and completely overcooked. It was clearly inedible. Despite the obvious issues and the fact that I didn't eat the food, the manager, Ms. Jo, never apologized. She initially tried to charge me full price and only removed $18 after I questioned it, still leaving me with a $30.36 bill for food I could not eat. The only thing that was remotely edible was the corn. The service was just as disappointing. I stood at the front for about 15 minutes waiting to be greeted or seated while the manager spent her time chatting with a table of people she seemed to know. That lack of professionalism should have been my sign to leave. Overall, the quality, quantity, and customer service were unacceptable. I would not recommend this location and will not be returning. I'm so glad we decided to eat here. From the moment we walked in, I could tell this place is well taken care of. It's well maintained and very clean, not just the dining area, but the restrooms too, which says a lot. Parking is rarely something to get excited about, but here it's genuinely ample. No circling around or parallel parking stress, just pull right in. The staff really stood out. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and super attentive without being overbearing. First time coming to this location. Party if 2 .I've been to the Chinatown location before. Overall, the food was good, and I really like their sauce. Atmospheres was okay , the menu was kinda sticky had old sauce all over ours. However, I did have an issue with our experience. We wanted the AYCE menu 1 with lobster, and the other 1 with snow crab. The server took our order, then came back and told us they had run out of lobster. Okay, that's understandable...things happen. But then we noticed other tables ordering lobster. A family that was seated about 30 minutes after us, on the other side of our booth, ordered lobster without any issue. At that point we were confused. Why were we told there was no more lobster, but other tables were still being served lobster? We tried giving the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe the lobster was only available à la carte. If that was the case, that's completely fine but it should have been explained to us. Instead, we were simply told they were out of lobster after we had already placed our order. A little communication would have gone a long way. If the server had explained the situation, we would have completely understood. Instead, it left us feeling confused and wondering why we were told something different from what we were seeing with other customers. Would I come back to this location probably not. read more

Friendly service and great food. Upon arriving, there is a QR code to check in where you can add your name to the waitlist. I do wish they offered the option to check in before arriving maybe that's possible if you have the QR code saved on your phone. Christy, our server, was very friendly and attentive. She made sure we were taken care of without ever rushing us. She also explained the menu thoroughly and gave great recommendations. I ended up choosing the regular $28 AYCE, which included 2 pounds of shrimp, scallops, and mussels. In addition, I was able to choose 3 add-ons: corn, fries, and sausage. For my first batch, I chose the "All In" sauce, which was my favorite it had a nice, slightly sweet flavor. So I see an ad on Facebook for this restaurant offering $5 off for locals on the all you can eat. Our son has the night off, let's go! It's about 4:30 and only one other table. Great for us. Seated immediately and Robert is our server! He explains how the menu works and answers questions and I had a lot! Yes, all three of us have to do the all you can eat. Yes, you can share. If I can't finish my initial bag, yes I can take it home. Son gets snow crab unlimited added and managed to finish 3 bags. Husband gets 2 bags down and about half of mine goes home with me. We tried different sauces and the consensus is that while they are good, Hot n Juicy has better. My coconut sauce had only a hint of coconut. Son said the Hawaiian had too much pineapple but I tasted it and I wish I had gotten it. Husband enjoyed the garlic butter blend. The seafood was cooked to perfection. We were very disappointed by the scallops though. First we couldn't find them because they were tiny. There actually was a lot in the bag but they tasted nothing like a scallop. I would never order them again. It would have been better to have less, larger scallops. The sides were all very good. My first time having fried green beans. We enjoyed the decoration of the restaurant and it was very clean. It was also very quiet. After about 40 minutes the radio started to play old school R&B and I could relate! Initially it sounded like hip hop. It's not a large place. It's about mid size. The bottom line is the value of the all you can eat is fantastic! Just went in today after hearing some bad news and wanted to eat my sorrows away. 4lb later and I am still stuffed after getting home an hour ago. They have you check in via a QR code before being seated. Which is interesting when you're immediately seated afterwards but I get that it's most likely to mark in their system how many people come in. Tables aren't over crowded, simple decorations and R&B in the background. Service was great. They serve super cold ketchup and tartar sauce. I believe my waitress was Sheila (might have gotten her name wrong); she was super pretty, very nice and patient. She came to check on me a couple of times, made sure I was happy and let me know when/if I wanted more. The food is good but not great. The flavor feels lacking and their spiciest level of assassin wasn't spicy at all. The crab cluster and scallops were overcooked. The crawfish and shrimp were good though, I imagine during crawfish season it's great. The chicken had a nice texture and was cooked perfectly. Felt like it was worth the cost but there are other AYCE boils nearby with better flavor for my personal preference. Altogether not bad and service makes up for the lacking flavor. Would probably rate closer to a 3.5. read more

The atmosphere inside is fun and they have a good amount of seating. The staff were very nice and can assist you in choosing sauce recommendations. We opted for the all you can eat upgrade for snow crab. I really was hoping to splurge and do the King Crab legs upgrade- but they were out of the King Crab. However the snow crab and other items were very tasty! Would definitely go again! Be warned - it's messy! No bibs, but they do give you plastic gloves! We went in hoping for the AYCE but it just actually does not give a decent selection at all you have to choose 3 seafood items but there are only 3 total options because the crawfish (the forth option) isn't even edible quality. On top of that, you have to pay for extra for any crab which also isn't great quality, and the portions for the sides are completely unviable. You get 2 little pieces of sausage per order, and like 700 shrimp for some reason. Also they messed up our wing order and instead of giving us a new order they just threw lemon pepper seasoning onto the ones we had that were already cold (they did not come back to our table for a long time) and bitten into. Overall one of the most subpar seafood experiences. But the sauce and fries were hella good that's why it gets the 1 star. read more
