I recently had visitors from out of town that want to eat at a crab boil. We researched and found this place. The restaurant was crowded, which was a good sign. They have a good system in place for the wait list, and our wait wasn't bad. The wait staff were courteous, and the service was great. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The food was a serious disappointment -- deeply underwhelming for a place that calls itself a crab boil. The flavors were there, but barely enough to save it. The portions were downright poor -- the crab legs and lobster were thin, and the boil itself was shockingly small for the price. A crab boil lives and dies by its seafood, and this one fell flat.

I recently visited Crab and Spice for their all‑you‑can‑eat seafood and lobster special, and it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. The crab legs were extremely small and so thin that you practically needed tools just to get any meat out of them. The lobster tail I received was even worse -- when I cut it open, it was green inside, filled with green water, and completely overcooked. It was clearly inedible. Despite the obvious issues and the fact that I didn't eat the food, the manager, Ms. Jo, never apologized. She initially tried to charge me full price and only removed $18 after I questioned it, still leaving me with a $30.36 bill for food I could not eat. The only thing that was remotely edible was the corn. The service was just as disappointing. I stood at the front for about 15 minutes waiting to be greeted or seated while the manager spent her time chatting with a table of people she seemed to know. That lack of professionalism should have been my sign to leave. Overall, the quality, quantity, and customer service were unacceptable. I would not recommend this location and will not be returning. Seth, was the only good quality asset to the restaurant. I feel like I was robbed and not even a let us get it right from Manager Jo..

First time last time. Service was great! Just not my style of food. Expensive. $120 with tip for two people. Basically for overeaters. Get your moneys worth. You eat out of a plastic BAG‍

I took my son today for his first seafood boil. We both did the AYCE and added on the AYCE snow crab. The service was quick and they refilled our bags at the right time. The crab clusters were nice n big. The shrimp and scallops were tasty as well. In our first bag we also got corn and sausage which were delicious. The next 3 bags we just got seafood to get our moneys worth. We also tried an order of lemon pepper chicken wings which are some of the best in town. Be sure to bring your appetite when you come here!

We went back to Crab N Spice for probably our 7th visit, and the service is still the best! Our servers, Max and Ray--who I didn't get to mention last time--were absolutely amazing. They were very attentive, made sure we had everything we needed, and never made us feel rushed. Thank you for the outstanding service, and of course, the delicious AYCE seafood! Truly top-notch every time. We will definitely be back again!

I visited the henderson location last night hoping for a standout seafood experience, but the evening was the definition of "just okay." If you're looking for a spectacular night out, this might not be the spot, though it isn't a total disaster either. The service was unfortunately the weakest part of the experience. Throughout the meal, our server seemed overwhelmed or perhaps just uninterested; we had to flag him down a few times just to get more food and had to ask a different server for water. As for the food itself, it was fine, but lacked any "wow" factor. The shrimp and crawfish were cooked well enough and didn't feel rubbery, but the "All In" lacked depth. It felt like a standard grocery store seasoning blend rather than something crafted in-house. Everything tasted fresh enough, but for the price point, you expect a bit more punch and personality in the flavor profile. The vibe of the restaurant is pleasant and the seating is comfortable, which kept the night from being a total wash. It has that classic nautical aesthetic you'd expect, and the music level was decent enough to actually hold a conversation. Crab n Spice is the kind of place you go to if every other restaurant in the area has a two-hour wait. You'll leave full, but between the sluggish service and the mediocre seasoning, it's hard to justify a second trip when there are more attentive options nearby.

So I see an ad on Facebook for this restaurant offering $5 off for locals on the all you can eat. Our son has the night off, let's go! It's about 4:30 and only one other table. Great for us. Seated immediately and Robert is our server! He explains how the menu works and answers questions and I had a lot! Yes, all three of us have to do the all you can eat. Yes, you can share. If I can't finish my initial bag, yes I can take it home. Son gets snow crab unlimited added and managed to finish 3 bags. Husband gets 2 bags down and about half of mine goes home with me. We tried different sauces and the consensus is that while they are good, Hot n Juicy has better. My coconut sauce had only a hint of coconut. Son said the Hawaiian had too much pineapple but I tasted it and I wish I had gotten it. Husband enjoyed the garlic butter blend. The seafood was cooked to perfection. We were very disappointed by the scallops though. First we couldn't find them because they were tiny. There actually was a lot in the bag but they tasted nothing like a scallop. I would never order them again. It would have been better to have less, larger scallops. The sides were all very good. My first time having fried green beans. We enjoyed the decoration of the restaurant and it was very clean. It was also very quiet. After about 40 minutes the radio started to play old school R&B and I could relate! Initially it sounded like hip hop. It's not a large place. It's about mid size. The bottom line is the value of the all you can eat is fantastic! You can order the lobster and eat nothing but all night or till your time expires; lol. Robert! Thank you so very much for a wonderful dinner. You were the cherry on top.

My husband loves seafood, and I wanted to surprise him for Valentine's Day. I took him to this restaurant, and he was so happy! We ordered the all-you-can-eat special for $27.99, and it was absolutely delicious and so worth it. I got shrimp, scallops, and mussels with the Crab N Spice mild seasoning, plus some Cajun fries. The service and the ambience was amazing! We totally recommend this place!!

AYCE come with a cluster or crab legs

Just went in today after hearing some bad news and wanted to eat my sorrows away. 4lb later and I am still stuffed after getting home an hour ago. They have you check in via a QR code before being seated. Which is interesting when you're immediately seated afterwards but I get that it's most likely to mark in their system how many people come in. Tables aren't over crowded, simple decorations and R&B in the background. Service was great. They serve super cold ketchup and tartar sauce. I believe my waitress was Sheila (might have gotten her name wrong); she was super pretty, very nice and patient. She came to check on me a couple of times, made sure I was happy and let me know when/if I wanted more. The food is good but not great. The flavor feels lacking and their spiciest level of assassin wasn't spicy at all. The crab cluster and scallops were overcooked. The crawfish and shrimp were good though, I imagine during crawfish season it's great. The chicken had a nice texture and was cooked perfectly. Felt like it was worth the cost but there are other AYCE boils nearby with better flavor for my personal preference. Altogether not bad and service makes up for the lacking flavor. Would probably rate closer to a 3.5.

Not bad, not bad at all…read more.. By the end of my first night at Great American FoodieFest I was soooo full, and disappointed that I didn't see this food truck in the beginning. I was too full to order anything else, but when I walked by the truck it took a lot of me to not order the Gumbo. The sweet order, offered us samples of the soup from the gumbo and I was like, whoa! I went home dreaming about that damn Gumbo, so much that it's why I returned for again to get some! This isn't like your traditional Gumbo. It's doesn't have seafood pieces, just stripped juicy chicken and flavorful sausage, rice, onions all in a savory broth that isn't too salty. With the overcast weather we have today, this soup truly hit the spot. Be sure to follow them on WTF, "Where's The FoodTruck".

A local truck which is always great! The ladies at Kravin' Kajun were friendly and welcoming. They were proud to be local and their truck was sporting the "Vegas Strong" logo which was cool. My husband went with a Fried Catfish Po Boy, his weakness. The Po Boy was loaded with the fried catfish on a large roll, a good value for $14. Unfortunately, my husband thought one of his favorite foods was just okay. He said the bread wasn't special and the flavors were okay. Again, there wasn't anything wrong with it, but it wasn't something he'd order again. The Chicken & Sausage Gumbo was okay, but not as bold on flavor and seasoning as I expected from a gumbo. The gumbo did have a soupy consistency with plenty of large pieces of chicken and a celery flavor. I felt the same as my husband did about my dish. Good, but not something memorable. Overall, I love to support local business so if I see them around at another event I'd be willing to try some of their other menu options. The Boudin Ball Po Boy and Louisiana Purchase both sounded interesting.

Ample parking, and nestled right in the center. You really can't miss it unless you're trying. When you walk in the door and look to your left, there's the captain and his pet grab ready to greet you. The place definitely has a seafood vibe, nuts on the walls, and just an overall rustic seafood type venue. Lots and lots of seating, tables, and booths, as well as a bar so all the bases are covered. Covered. Plus there are several widescreen TVs all over the place in case you want to look at something other than the amazing food they bring you. I ordered the captain's platter, which came with soft shell, crab, shrimp, fish, and calamari. I will say this, their french fries are top notch! And the sauces that bring out to you are second to none. My friends ordered the fish and chips plate which was huge! As well as the shrimp plate with sweet potato fries. I personally am not a sweet potato fry type person, but she said they were amazing and the shrimp worked perfectly cooked. I got to tell you, a majority of the fish and chips places I go to the fish and the fries can sometimes be greasy. This was definitely not the case here. The fish and all the other fried foods were super crisp and knock greasy at all. Honestly this will be on my list of places to go for sure! The bottom line? Hoist the sail and swab the poop deck because Cap't Loui's is definitely your go-to place for fish and chips. I am looking forward to going for oyster Tuesday and see how that fares.

First TIme Shrimp Boil Here!…read more You have to try this atleast once in your life. I always imagined experiencing this at a picnic table outdoors near a beach but this place came close with the decor. Restaurant had beach vibes all over including a large shark literally on top of their station area. Writing all over walls like you would probably see in some hole in the walls by the beach somewhere. Im sure the seafood is frozen coming in ... I mean we do live in the desert... so with that I crossed my fingers hoping everything was going to taste as fresh as one can possibly hope for. They have a generous menu, you should ask the server about the concept, they will give you the run down. They offer single plate options and of course different styles of boils, including the spice levels. I went all out, diving in with bib and plastic gloves to work for my food LOL. It was a good portion for a single dish with the addition of sausage and we added a side of fries and a glass white wine ( Sutter Home ) dont expect more- this of course is about the seafood and good line of beer. WOW flavor was great! I actually could not finish everything. Food does get cold quickly which takes away from the flavor and heat. By the time I got through cracking on piece of crab, most of the shrimp was lukewarm to cold. Fries were great ( lemon pepper ). Service - mediocre, staff were focused on the basket ball game as they were standing around watching tv. I was out of wine and no offer for another glass, did not get back to us on upcharge, forgot our bill because of game... Hubby and I had to get up for this.... dont expect high quality service from here but our server was friendly.
