We went on a Sunday evening so there was no live band. We walked in to what appeared to be the bar area. We saw a bar and two random people sitting at one of the few tables with beers. We noticed someone coming downstairs with a pizza box so we assumed food was upstairs. Upstairs is Chelsea's Ire Bites. We had the pizza which was good, but not the best ever. Soda came in a can, I'm never a fan of that. Our waitress was great and very attentive. She offered us dessert, but everything on the dessert table appeared to have been sitting for awhile so we passed. Overall a decent experience. Chelsea's is an awesome live music venue/dive bar. It's a no-frills neighborhood bar in an old building with a ton of character. There was a $5 cover when we went, but it ended up being well worth it. The band playing was an excellent local act that put on a great show and played all night. People were dancing and having a great time. The bartenders were pleasant and gave generous pours. The crowd was very mixed, with some tourists paired with college aged kids and older locals, but everyone got along well. We ordered a slice of pizza and were extremely surprised with how good it was; I've had plenty of great New York style pizza in the northeast US (where it actually IS good), and this place was exceptional. Chelsea's is a must hit when in Eureka Springs. It's where all the locals go, and it's where you can see the greatest band's in the area. The pizza is pretty good, and the drinks are strong. You are always bound to run into someone you haven't seen in forever there. They also recently made the bar smoke free which I think is nice. The downside is there is usually a cover; they only accept cash at the bar, and the pizza can take an hour. read more

This place is truly a little dive. The "decor" is local folk artist chic. All the tables are mismatched and look salvaged. There are board games in the corner you can play and a little TV playing. The bathroom door doesn't have a real know, just a bit of wood to pull open. The floors are actually kind of icky looking. BUT, the food was really good. BF and I stopped in here for a late lunch on a weekend trip to Eureka Springs on a recommendation from the front desk at our hotel, who said they had lots of veggie friendly options. They do, from pizzas to calzones to nachos, salads and sandwiches. I had a good veggie gyro and was impressed that it wasn't just tzatziki and lettuce, but included lots of hot and tasty veggies. It came with chips and was generously sized and almost too filled to get a bite of. BF had pork nachos that could have fed about 4 people. He thought they were excellent. Drinks are non-alcoholic, beers or wine. (There's a bar downstairs). Everyone's food that we saw looked amazing and was very generously portioned. You can enter a door and sit on the balcony and listen The the music from the band in the bar. They have lots of games you can play while you wait for your food. This is a fun place. Get ready to let your hair down. My family and I came here after my brothers wedding reception. We all were staying in eureka and was looking to start the night at a family friendly spot. We had a couple minors with us. This place was exactly what we were looking for. The service was pretty good and friendly. The food was pretty good too. Especially the pizza and bread knots. Once the night progressed we ended up outside the restaurant and inside the dancing hall. The bar tenders at the full bar were fun and really nice. (Still need to invest into some top shelf tequila, don Julio was my preference and wasn't there. ) but still accommodated. Upon entering the restaurant were asked to pay a cover for a band that was playing in an adjoining room several hours later. We were not interested in the band and made that clear. I love this place. I've been getting the absolute best service, and the locals are fantastic. This guy single handedly took our order, filled our drinks and cooked our food. Literally. Within a reasonable timeframe also. Every time we had a request to make, it was like he already knew. He came back with our thoughts fulfilled. When we went to ask for juice, he was handmaking the dough for our pizza. There was a time we really liked this place, that is until tonight. It's a busy night, sure. We've been on other busy nights. Never had a problem. Food has always been good. But tonight? Pizza was horrible. We ordered the Athens. It tasted rancid. Something was not right. We took the issue to the server who said it was above her pay grade and took it to her manager. After several minutes the manager comes to the table. We told her how bad the pizza was and her response, "it looks like an Athens. It's my favorite pizza. Maybe it isn't what you're used to." Ok, great. Maybe it is her favorite. And we read the menu. We were aware of what was on the pizza before ordering. I think we'd know if we were used to it. Point being tonight it tastes like shit. We asked if we could swap it for the supreme. She said no. The Athens was $19. The supreme was $22. We assured her we would pay the $3 difference. We were still hungry for fuck's sake. I've decided that if Yelp truly reflects the tastes of it's members, there's no reason not to include ALL the great places you've frequented. Since I travel a lot for work, here I go. When I found myself in Eureka Springs, Arkansas for 2 and a half months last year, I wondered how I was going to entertain myself. It's a picturesque little mountain hippie and biker enclave, with a sprinkling of Jesus freaks and rednecks to amp the freak factor. Well, on my second night in town, I found myself winding halfway down a side street with probably an 80% grade, and found my home away from home: Chelsea's. Chelsea's is split up into a tiny bar area where you can watch TV, hit on the bartenders (some of them like it), play darts, and generally relax. There's a second much larger room with a balcony and a raised stage area where they have some of the best live music in town with an eclectic range of bands. This area has long common tables and benches, and a game area in a corner. This is also where, while sitting and watching a band, some drunk girl upstairs decided to pelt me and my pals with ice cubes and beer. So I'd say that strategically, don't sit directly under the balcony if possible. The other odd part of Chelsea's is the terrace. It was on this terrace on perhaps night 3, that I watched a fire on an adjacent mountain ridge burn an old hotel and neighboring trees in huge leaping flames against a sunset sky. One of the most terrifying, beautiful, and bizarre experiences I've ever had. And I had a beer in my hand at the time. Try the okra, too. It's like crack. read more

So I came here after a wedding to attend an "after party" shall we say. And I do not regret it. I did feel a little weird walking in because it was a locals only kind of spot but we got quick service and the drinks were stiff. We found a table on a Friday night large enough for our big party and proceeded to DEVOUR their pizza and drink their $2 Miller High Life. The pizza was the most delicious thing I have ever had. And I FUCKING LOVE pizza. The crust was a perfect combination of crispy on the bottom of the topping and cheese part and tender and fluffy in the outside crust. For under $20 you got a huge pepperoni pizza. This is the kind of pizza that tastes great cold and in the morning after drinking the Champagne of Beers all night. However, it was anything but! 1st: The doorman did not tell us that in order to eat pizza there was a different entrance even though we said we were there to have the world class pie everyone was gaga about. So, they charged us $10 just to walk through the bar area. 2nd: The pizza was meh, way too cheesy. And they charged extra for tomato sauce. i think they purposefully don't put on enough sauce so that you buy it. I was not falling for those shenanigans. 3rd: TURN DOWN THE SPEAKERS! There was a live band playing that night and it was horrendously loud. We were in the restaurant part and any time the door opened, our ear drums were shattered. I don't know how to explain the atrocity of the volume other than it was throw up worthy. How do the locals frequent this place without going deaf. So. Where does that leave me? Anything nice to say? I think the only cool thing about the establishment is that it is super cool in design. You can tell that this place has probably always been a bar. It resembles an old western saloon, where you see the ladies of the night hanging over the railings out on the upper levels. I may need to do a little research as I am pretty certain the place used to indeed be a saloon. When we first walked in, we were eyed up and down by the local who hung out in the front entryway bar area. These was hillbilly folk all the way! The inner "saloon" area was full of picnic style wooden tables. I kid you not when I say that people were slamming their beer mugs on them and making a raucous! If these people had not been in modern clothing, I seriously would have thought I'd stepped onto the set of an Old Western Film. However, the campiness of this place does not make it a worthwhile place to go to. Sorry Chelsea's. One, you are not a Cafe! Two, you are a bar that has a pizza joint. Three, people like to be able to talk a little bit when at a bar, even those that have live bands. Food: Meh Service: Our server in the pizza place was nice, however, she did nothing to get us our $10 back that we wasted at the front door. Would I go back? When the pizza finally did arrive we don't even know what one of them was it wasn't what we ordered. The pizza crust was over cooked on one of the two pizzas and the chicken was dry. My friends took me Chelsea's during the Blues Festival and the place was rocking! We went there for lunch the first time..I had the most excellent Greek Gyro ($7) with lamb, beef, feta, onion, tomatos and a fantastic tzatziki sauce. But Chelsea's is well-known for their pizzas. They were Best Pizza in Arkansas runner-up last year. Didn't have a chance to try any but my friends always say it's the best and they live there! The music is great, lots of local talent come through..the dance floor is interesting as the original owner, a musician himself, is buried underneath. So one does actually 'dance on his grave' when they get out there! Chelsea's used to be a carriage house for the hotel's horses/carriages and one can imagine it as such. The little eating room upstairs was the livery people's living quarters. A cool place to hang out and meet the locals. Staff is fabulous and efficient..they treated me like I lived there! Such an eclectic little place! A little hole in the wall. You walk in and it is a complete local dive which I don't mind at all. Love conversing with the locals in little towns but we were quickly ushered upstairs to the cafe which should be called a pizzaria. Guess we didn't look like the type to hang out in a dive like that but I honestly was intrigued by the the selection of beers on tap in such an establishment. Once upstairs we were the only ones there which is usually a bad sign when you go to a restaurant but it was a Monday nite. The view was amazing! The pizza was the best we have ever had! The only pizza that I enjoy just as much is a Giordanos pizza in chicago. The sauce was perfect and tasted so fresh. I wanted to hate this place and was already plotting my 2 star review (as I won't 1-star a place unless it's beyond terrible and/or a potential health hazard lying-in-wait). The hubs and I were in Eureka Springs for a friend's wedding; we got there later than had planned, and we missed dinner with the wedding crew; as such, we were starving and wanted not-McDonald's for dinner. So, we found Chelsea's after passing by every other place I wanted to try but not realizing that we had done so b/c it was dark and the roads were confusing (for a first timer in E-S, mind you). So, we walked upstairs and sat inside even though we watched another couple leave before getting food. "Oh god, food is going to take forever," I immediately thought, but we stayed and ordered two pizzas (the gyro and the cordon bleu, we were told they were out of chicken but went with it anyway) and an order of knots. Then those thoughts were confirmed as minutes passed and passed and passed, and our knots appetizer didn't come out for at least 30. The knots are okay; they're big, but I didn't like the excessive amount of herbs on them. And then we waited some more while listening to the staff bicker a bit and listening to some dude in the bar below cover only Zeppelin. Then after more minutes passed and passed and passed, our pizzas arrived. First, they were huge. Second, they managed to have chicken after all, so we got the cordon bleu as it was supposed to be. And let me tell you, both pizzas were delicious. I was only able to eat a piece of both, but they were totally worth it and still good a few days later after being reheated on my pizza stone. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and recommended it to the wedding crew the next day. So, Chelsea's, I'm sorry for almost two-starring you because you totally don't deserve that. Basically, this place is really good if you're willing to wait. And don't worry, dude who only plays Zeppelin may mix it up and play the Animals' House of the Rising Sun 'cuz that's what he was playing on our way out the door. read more

We were told this is one of the best pizzas in Arkansas. AND THEY DELIVER! Yay! It was a rain day on a motorcycle trip, so delivery sounded wonderful... The online menu listed "topings" and "carnation bacon" so we were amused to say the least. But when we called in we were told they don't deliver before 4. (it was 2:15) so call back around 3:30 and they'd deliver at 4... we called at 3:30, we called again at 4:15, it was "on the way", we got our pizza around 4:45. We got the meat lovers and the toppings were great, but the pizza was extremely greasy, even the crust was greasy, the sauce ok, and we paid over 20 for late lunch... that came in time for dinner. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Would it have been better had they delivered when they said? Yes, but even then... it wasn't that good for the price. read more

I would give 5 stars to the restaurant and 2 stars to the bar. I've eaten the pizza here many times, and its by far the best pizza I've ever had. The crust in thin and flaky and crispy, the sauce is perfect, and they dont skimp on cheese and ingredients. I can't find the words to describe how good they are. everything is wonderfully balanced and cooked to perfection. I really like the margherita pizza and anything made with an olive oil base. The pizzas are giant! You will not go home hungry. The bar is another story. I've had good and bad experiences here. Often there is live music (both really good and really bad.) Most of the time it is so loud I can't talk to the person sitting next to me (I guess thats just a bar thing though, but its still annoying.) They dont take credit cards, so you have to use an atm. They don't have any wine glasses, and the bartender didn't know how to open a wine bottle. He didn't take off the foil and destroyed the cork so there were pieces of cork floating in the wine. Then they ran out of wine (I guess I'm the only wine drinking patron they have.) Its still worth coming depending on what kind of night it is. The atmosphere can vary wildly. read more

In the past this restaurant has made us bakery happy. Unfortunately on our most recent visit things appeared to have gone horribly wrong. Very few patrons, dining room almost empty, and yet our pizza took an hour to be brought out. Unfortunately it was a carry out that we did not inspect on location. Once we were home , we were horribly disappointed. Burnt around the edges yet uncooked dough in the middle. In an attempt to report the issue, we immediately called around 8:30 the phone rang incessantly until we tried again only to be greeted by a busy signal call after call, as if purposeful. I'm afraid that Chelsea's can no longer be considered an even mediocre place to eat. It's a shame to see such a downhill slide. read more

This is a review for atmosphere and drinks only. We had a recent visit to Eureka Springs and everyone told us to go here, so we did and we were not disappointed. They are cash only and they have a full bar. My husband had a well rum and coke and I had a well whiskey on the rocks. Their well whiskey is Evan Williams, which I like and thought was a nice option for well (considering some places can really buy some crappy, cheap well whiskey) whiskey. Our two drinks were only $5 dollars a piece and were generous pours. The bartender was really nice and helpful as she told us about the live music they were going to have and offered us menus in case if we were hungry. We sat on the porch (smoking, so be forewarned) and enjoyed the nice weather and our drinks. We left before the music started and will definitely come back if we are ever in town again. read more

Lets talk about customer service. Apparently this place doesn't understand what that is or the employees working on 6/24/18 don't understand it. I made an order for 2 sandwiches and felt like I was bothering the guy with his attitude. Second after an hour I called to find out where my order was because I wasn't given a delivery time table and was put on hold then I had to hang up and call back. Was informed during the second call that the driver didnt have a cell phone and that he had left and should be here soon. Was another 15 minutes I went and got food somewhere else and my wife stayed to wait for the driver she called back and informed the restraunt that we were sending the food back at this point the driver showed up and was promptly sent back just as I arrived with our food from McDonald's. read more

My fiancé and I called twice and both times we were greeted with rudeness. I asked the lady if they were still serving take out and she told me "No, we don't do that anymore."
