The ladies were so nice here at Porter Ranch Optometry! A lady attempted and tried but it was a fail because i need to go back to Louis Vuitton store to get the glasses replaced. However, the service was phenomenal the lady that helped me was very sweet and personable. The store is very neat as well ! They have many brands of glasses here! I will come back here to order prescription glasses that I need!! I highly recommend here if you need glasses!! 5/5 for me!! -Marshay D.

I was seen 10-15 minutes after my appointment time. The first examination room could be cleaner. The machine was also a tad bit high so I wish they had an adjustable height chair or machine. Dr. Kh. was good, but she was very much focused on directing the conversation in a way to sell more services. She told me that everything was alright, but she would like to watch this and that and for that I needed that...in a tone that made me wonder if there is something wrong with my eyes. I also didn't know that people of my nationality have different optical nerves. I hope that is not a bad thing.

When Avant opened at The Vineyards, a friend recommended I give Dr. Kataria a try and I'm so glad I did!! She is incredibly thorough. Not only did she explain everything clearly, but she also showed me detailed images of my eyes, helping me for the first time truly understand what was going on. It's true what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Best part is the office is spotless and equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. I was so impressed by Dr. Kataria's knowledge and kind bedside manner that I now bring my two kids as well. I'm grateful to have such a high quality, locally owned practice right here in the community. I love being able to support a small business that genuinely cares.

I've been recommending him to family or friends and they're happy with the service. One feedback is that front staff doesn't introduce themselves prior assistance. Easy to find and Plenty of parking since it's located with other businesses. Thank you, Lenscrafter-Nordhoff location(outside Northridge mall).

Jessica sold me a pair of bifocal glasses and was very pleasant/professional. I chose to try the progressive type of lenses where going from long distance to short distance is invisible from an onlooker viewing the glasses (rather than seeing a small area in the lower portion of the lens). It's new for me, not cheap, so having the 30-day trial period was critical should the lens approach not be for me. Well, a week or so later, I arrived at the store after getting the text msg that my glasses were ready, explained that I was traveling in a few weeks and asked that the 30-day trial be extended a couple of days as I would be out of town when it expired. They couldn't do that. I had to go back to the store later to pick them up in order that the clock on the 30 days start later. (It's about 30 minutes roundtrip for me.) While the store manager was very gracious, attentive and fluid in explaining matters when I came by again for the second pick up, it makes little sense for a manager to be unable to override the system when warranted, especially for a long-time customer. Corporate needs to address this sort of thing, I feel, as it motivates me to try a competitor next time I need optical wear.

I have had near sightedness for a long time, and she found the perfect lenses for me in only 5 minutes of looking at letters! She also gave me eye drops that will help my redness in my eye go away. And it is already working! She knows more about my or even your eye than you do yourself. I did not even know my eye had a freckle in it! But this is only for dr park. Hence the 5 stars. The employees, and basically everyone else is very slow. Kid tried on a pair of glasses and it took 20 minutes for them to say they were too big. Overall literally took double the amount of time getting glasses than the appointment. Dr Park is the reason this place isn't shut down. Keep up the good work, and thank you for the service!

The front desk workers are absolutely awkward and unhelpful (except for Heather, white young lady with black hair), the doctors are just rushing their appointments/giving out incorrect prescriptions, & the manager (maybe Jenn? Older white lady with blonde curly hair) has the most horribleeee attitude. I've spent 4 weeks back and forth due to being give the wrong prescription, scratched glasses, and only to come out with "you should've bought the protection plan I don't know what to say". Will be emailing corporate as well to make sure this is known about this location.
