I love Chemical Guys marketing. They make some nice products that smell nice. However, as others have attested, they don't always seem to stand by their products. I went to the Torrance HQ Retail store ~ 4-5 weeks ago on a Sun. I needed a polishing pad and I had an issue with their Mr. Sprayer product since it stopped making pressure so it doesn't work at all. I went there to see if I just needed to buy a new seal or something, but the 2 employees I met said that if I could find a receipt- they would just swap it out all together. I thought- amazing! Fast forward today- I went back to the store with the receipt (purchased from the Chemical Guys Store on Amazon), but the same 2 employees were not there. The solo employee was busy with other customers so I waited patiently. When he was free, I told him the reason and he looked at the receipt from Amazon. He said he CANNOT help me since it wasn't purchased from retail. He directed me to Amazon. (After 30 days, there's nothing Amazon can do and they direct customers to the mfg). We went back and forth in front of other customers and it was going no where. I point blankly asked if the item was a Chemical Guys product. He agreed it was, but he said that he CANNOT help me. I reached out to Amazon this evening and the supervisor said that he could not assist and would direct me back to the mfg. All I was hoping for was a functioning Sprayer so that I could get some foam to safely wash my cars as the weather warms up. I wasn't expecting a replacement, but when the 2 employees offered it up- CG started to emerge into a 1st rate company. Sadly, I can't recommend their products since they don't last and the company doesn't want to take care of it's customers. It was only $20 when I purchased it- now $29. Now, it's just a big plastic and metal paper weight. read more

Destroyed my cloth seats using their brush and following direct step by step instructions. I reached out to them and after almost a month of delay, Their response was to gaslight me. Their customer service team is cheeks. I'm beside myself. Don't expect this company to stand behind their product whatsoever. Sad. read more

i always wondered where the entrance of this place was well, after getting some stuff on amazon, saw chemical guys were hosting their tiktok shop super brand day over the wknd we strolled in after 8am a pretty good turnout they had a donut truck and coffee a bunch of different cars in their show we were able to visit the store its def much bigger than it looks! it very organized the entire staff were all so friendly and approachable picked up some towels on this visit i love how they have products for pet owners! parking: tons of parking so never will be an issue read more

Can't believe how well this came out on these Quartz Countertops. There were fabrication marks and suction cup carrier circles and they all disappeared! First applied the Hydro View Ceramic Cleaner and Protectant, then followed up with Hydro Slick for a hydrophobic and slick like glass finish. Water just balls up on the surface. AMAZING HELP BY EDDIE!! i've never experienced this type of customer service before. my husband and i came in because we just got a brand new car.. and it's black! so very dirty very fast. we came in because my husband has never used chemical guys, but we have heard so many great things from so many people. I thought this place was just like a corporate office or something. but lo and behold it's an actual store! when we walked in we were immediately greeted by eddie, he asked what we were looking for and working in. we didn't know what we were looking for, just that we wanted to our car to look nice... he was SO patient with us. he walked us through a plethora of products that we might like. he answered all our questions in detail and left us feeling knowledgeable and educated by the time we left. he helped us stick to our budget and even signed us up for the rewards program. he was kind enough to even demonstrate the products for us! he showed us how they worked and recommended the order to use them in. we spent about an hour with him and it feels like we were talking to an old friend. you can tell he wasn't just trying to make a sale but also make a genuine connection. this is what customer service is all about. this is only our first visit but i already know we're going to be lifelong customers. thank you to chemical guys and eddie!! i would give ten stars if i could!! read more

Dissatisfaction That Needs to Be Addressed by Corporate If it were one or two negative reviews, consumers could weigh the facts. But when there are three consecutive Yelp reviews--Aaron G. (10‑08‑25), Norm (11‑11‑25), Brent G. (11‑18‑25)--and now my own review today, this should raise alarms at the Corporate office. On November 25, 2025 at 2:15 P.M., I spoke with customer service representative Robert regarding two issues: 1. Email Promotions Abuse After five attempts to have my email removed, the promotions briefly stopped but have resumed in recent days. 2. Product Failures and Returns Mr. Sprayer Full Function Atomizer Sprayer: Tested with water, it failed to mist or jet as described. I purchased two, and one remains unopened. Tolco Gold Standard Heavy Duty Acid Resistant Sprayer (head): All three failed after use with P & S Brake Buster Wheel Cleaner. I explained the manner of use both at purchase and during my call. Despite assurances from customer support that these products would meet professional detailing standards, they did not. The 30‑day return policy had expired, leaving me with unusable products. Larger Concerns I operate a detailing business in Oregon and rely on products that meet professional standards. Other companies across multiple states have never failed me in this way. Each Yelp review highlights the same issue: customer service is consistently poor, and Corporate leadership fails to stand behind products. Four negative ratings in a single month should force Corporate to rethink its approach. Loyalty and Trust My travels take me to shows across the country in search of superior products. Loyalty is golden to me, but Chemical Guys has abandoned the gold standard. When I was first introduced to Chemical Guys at the Sepulveda Blvd store in Torrance, CA, I purchased over $200 worth of products. One item--a spray bottle marketed as acid‑resistant--failed immediately. When I called the store, staff claimed they were unaware of the product, even though it was displayed on an end cap. That should have been my first warning. Final Point Aaron, Norm, Brent, and I hope our voices are heard. Corporate leadership must recognize that repeated failures in product quality and customer service erode trust and loyalty. Here they have a team that will help you determine what you do or don't need. They came to look at my car in the parking lot and made recommendations. Saved us some money by offering a cheaper solution. They even have a hood in the shop and show you step by step now to use the products. All of the products there have QR codes on the back that show how to use it. I used my kit on my 2012 scion and it made a huge difference. Buyer Beware -- Terrible Experience I've spent over $1,000 with Chemical Guys, and I'm beyond disappointed. Their 16-piece Arsenal kit claims pressure washer compatibility -- but only works with their proprietary unit. I tried returning it at Buena Park, but was turned away and told to call corporate, as they couldn't "verify" my purchase. Insulting. I caved and bought their pressure washer -- another mistake. After a few uses, the hose failed. Tried to get help again, same story: "Call corporate." I bought the Foam Blaster 6 Pro next, and when I finally reached someone, they already knew the issue. Clearly, poor quality is a known problem. Buena Park can't help with returns, Santa Ana might -- but after relentless promo texts, I gave them one last shot. Never again. Bad products, worse service.
