This lovely little spot is off the beaten track, and in stealth mode on the internet, apparently due to a dispute with a former employee, who did all of the social media. I assure you, Google, Rocky's is still open, and was peopled today by a colourful cast of regulars. I just stopped in today for a beer, and a couple of points told me I have found my new second home. 1. Traditional on tap. 2. Really nice folks as regulars. 3. The bartender/proprietress is charming, friendly and a Babe of the highest order. I will be back, and will provide more details as I assimilate. I was in there for about an hour, and by the time I left, everybody knew my name.

The service was adequate. The table was sticky. They should put closed captioning on the television. Since the horrible music is the priority, I'd at least like to "read" whats going on in sports. I was first drawn here by the promise of reasonably priced pizza, and was won over at first taste. I have ordered several personal size 8" pizzas here, and each was delicious. I also tried the baked spaghetti, which did not delight me. But the pizza... also, cheap beer which is never a bad thing. The House Special and the Chicken Special are both really good. The vegetarian was also good, but not brilliant. I tend to eat in, and be warned that the restaurant and pub are pretty much the same space. This is not a family environment in the evenings, as the regulars tend to use language better suited to a machine shop than a family restaurant. They have a pool table and VLT's for those feeling lucky, and a couple of big screens for the sports fans. I have been going back weekly for my pizza fix, and will continue for a while. Anytime I can get a pizza and a beer for $16.00, I am a happy guy.
