It's kind of hidden but, it's before the stop light just before grove st.

This is one of the only places I come for my carne preparada or pollo preparado. If your trying to make an authentic Mexican dish don't waste your time going to a commercial grocery market. You have it all here.

His description of the marinade tempted me enough to buy it.

I stopped at Trang's Seafood first but they were sold out on Saturday. The owner directed me to Vien Dong, which was incredibly kind of her. I called first to ensure they were in stock before I made the trip across town. This parking lot is kinda a mess. It's shared between all the shops in the plaza. Patrons can't seem to park responsibly. There was a plethora of seafood specials promoted for the Memorial Day weekend. These crawdaddies were chilling in a tub next to the blue crab. I asked the kind seafood attendant for a plastic bag. I grabbed the tongs and picked out the most lively crawdads to bring home. My eyes were different larger than my belly because I picked out 60 bad boys roughly 4lbs which is significantly more than 3 of us needed. They were on sale for a reasonably priced $5.48lb, As I was headed to register when my little eye spied fresh water head-on jumbo shrimp. So I had to grab some 1lbs of those too. The store is mostly organized and clean. I don't like how narrow all the aisles are but it very on par for all Asian Markets. In pinch if I was in the area I should here because it's closer to home, but I prefer a different Asian Market due to familiarity and ease of navigating the store layout.

All Asian essentials can be found here. Decent prices. Plenty of parking but I feel like the lot is a bit crammed.

They print their menus on paper created with giant kelp (SO COOL) and list where they source from. Favorites - chowda fries, clam chowder on fries and this was so good, piping hot and delicious. Crab cake was yummy but too much garnish on top for me. The fresh catch was a sea bass and we got swordfish tacos that came with housemade chips. Overall 5/5, their drink menu looked good too but we opted out today. Street parking in PB and I'd definitely come back. Easy reservations on OpenTable.

Also, it's very clean and the means the world to me. The staff is amazing. Ian greeted us, walked us through the drink menu, and vividly described several food options. He was friendly, attentive, and quick, it was a breath of fresh air. Top-notch service from Ian. He definitely added to the experience. Now for the food... The food was excellent. I ordered the clam chowder. I loves me some clam. Nothing's better than a fresh, clean clam for you to eat! I also ordered the crab cakes and calamari. The crab cakes came with a delicious sauce, and you could tell they were made with real crab, not imitation. The calamari was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. For my entrées, I ordered the halibut and chips and the ahi smash burger. The halibut was juicy and thick. I'm talking Mexican booty thick. My jaw was on the floor staring at that fish. The batter was crispy, the fish stayed moist, the fries were fresh, and the portion was huge. The ahi smash burger is amazing! It was so big I almost slapped it on the butt and said, "Good girl." The first bite was like the first time I stared into Zac Efron's eyes. The world stopped, and I heard angels singing. A truly amazing experience. I also ordered a margarita. Cheers to the bartender, because that baby was strong and tasted exactly how a margarita should. Overall, this joint is dope. I highly recommend giving it a try if you get the chance because it exceeded my expectations for a seafood restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, the service is outstanding, and the food is beyond dope. The Fishery sets the standard for a coastal seafood experience.
