Still 5 stars. My family and I have been eating here for a very long time and it's still excellent. The bakery has really carved out it's spot here in Columbus and Geri will be opening another location in Cypress of Cincinnati soon as well. We are excited to visit. Pour over coffee and baked goods are still amazing and the quality is still top notch. Still made with farm fresh eggs and farm butter from happy grass grazing cows. Something husband and I both appreciate. An added bonus is a couple of years ago she made it competley dye free as well. So no gluten, nuts, or dyes but still all the taste and texture you would expect from a fine bakery. Coffee still takes awhile being that its pour over and made to order so let them know you want coffee right away so they can get it started as you mull over which treat, or two or three, you will buy. Every Fall I look forward to the seasonal pumpkin bars and spiced doughnuts. This most recent Winter she offered egg nog and peppermint stick doughnuts that have become something to look forward to as well. In the Spring and Summer I lean towards the citrus side of things with the lemon bars and pink lemonade doughnuts and on hot days I get an iced coffee. Everything she offers is good. I miss the polenta cake though. For some reason, even though they said it was a top seller, they don't bake it for everyday anymore. They can still be special ordered. If you are ever in and it happens to be offered do yourself a favor and get a slice. The last few times I have gone they have had cream puffs out. They used to be special order but sometimes they had extras and sold them in the case. I'm hoping that they are a new daily staple because forget Schmidt's. These cream puffs are lighter with just enough bite but still so airy in your mouth. Honestly I don't know how they can be this texture and be gluten free. I'm happy to see this bakery has not only stuck around but is expanding and I wish her well! read more

As someone who has been eating gluten free most of my life due to Celiac Disease, this place is my dream come true. EVERYTHING here is gluten free! It's also all not just gluten free, but it's actually GOOD. A lot of times I will get gluten free baked goods that are ~okay~ but every single thing that I have had from here is incredible. They also have a variety of vegan options as well which is very nice. They serve local coffee which is also a bonus and the customer service is always great. I could rave on and on about this place, but truly what I like most is how "normal" it makes me feel. I can stroll in and order ANYTHING I want without having to ask to read ingredients, etc etc. I highly highly recommend this place to those who eat gluten free and those who don't! I'm in love with their coffee. I come here during my lunch break at work and their coffee always saves me. I'll get the iced or hot coffee. The beans are freshly ground and they take such pride in their pourovers. I enjoy all of their baked goods. The staff is super friendly and there is just such a welcoming nice vibe there. read more

Just excellent. Bought the strawberry cookies- scone like but chewier texture and the fresh strawberries make it. Lemon bars are amazing- both the lemon and the crust. Everything about this place is excellent, from the food, to the staff, to the actual bakery itself. They are always pulling fresh food out of the oven, and you can watch the whole process. The staff clearly love the food they make, and are happy to give recommendations. I have tried many of their menu items and am yet to be disappointed. However, if I had to recommend something it would be the s'more blondie for something sweet or the quiche for something savory. I could go on about all of the other things I like to get there (hello lemon squares) but the Strata is hands-down my favorite item on the menu. Awesome bakery delicious treats taste buds on cloud nine. This little hidden treasure in Bexley Ohio is a must stop for anyone living in Bexley or driving through Bexley. Every baked good is freshly made every day and you can tell. They have a wonderful menu with gluten free options. You can just tell they know how to make baked goods here with every bite your mouth is craving another one and another one and another one. I destroyed a monster blueberry muffin it fell apart so lightly and crumbles on the top or so sweet and savory. And blueberries were nice and big cooked to perfection you didn't have to search for them. Now that atmosphere of the location is quite unique. They have several small little tables nothing major and they play decent music but there's also seating outside as well so that was nice. I came back the very next day and try something new and loved it just as equally so the bakers here are top notch and doing a really good job you have to come here you have to try these baked goods. I can compare it to maybe like an American bald eagle flying in my mouth and exploding with a firecracker on the Fourth of July it's that good lol read more

Wouldn't be able to tell you it was gluten free if I tried. It's definitely not sugar free! Wonderful offering of baked goods with some French pastry influences. On my lineup was an espresso brownie, smore bar and madeleine. Madeleine was great, light and spongy with a hint of vanilla. The brownie was rich and decadent, with just the hint of coffee bitterness to compliment the chocolate. Star of the show was the smore bar, so good I forgot to share it with the wife (guess I have a return trip in my future). Five stars all the way, wonderful bakery with cheerful service. read more

I love popping in every so often and getting a pour over coffee with a lemon bar. They have a lot of seating considering how small the bakery is. Excellent! Genuinely friendly staff. Everything we tried was delicious: strata, lemon square, zucchini loaf for breakfast and a citrus lavendar muffin, mini loaf and rosemary polenta to go. Lovely atmosphere and we sat outside to enjoy our breakfast and tea. My husband and I are gluten-free (intolerance for me and my husband went gf to support me but as a result, his daily headaches went away). It was wonderful to eat all of these treats and not taste like the bleh gf products out there. I was very happy to learn they have some items at Whole Foods in Cleveland, where we live near. This place is legit! If you're like me and don't eat gluten because you are Celiac then this is heaven on earth! I am always skeptical about gluten free claims but ate here WITHOUT INCIDENT. And if you're celiac then you know that is critical. Everything I have tried has been delicious. (And I've tried many things.) The s'mores bar was so unusual...like nothing I have ever tasted.
