    Berry croissant.

I've had a few different pastries with fresh fruit from DtB. They've all been good, but the prices are something else. I believe the one pictured was $16. I've gotten bread in the past, but that didn't wow me as much. Your mileage may vary.

Really cool spot! A decent amount of parking when I arrived on a Sunday morning. We had to wait outside in line for about 10 minutes because the inside was so packed. When we got inside it smelled incredible. The line moved pretty fast and the staff were very friendly. I told them it was our first time and they quickly and efficiently gave me the run down while also giving us some suggestions and letting us know what are local favorites. We ended up getting 6 pastries and 1 drink. It was a bit pricey for two people but the pastries were a good size. I loved the egg and bacon pastry! We also split the BMO with no ham and it was delicious as well. The iced oat milk chai was small was very tasty. Overall, I'm really glad we were able to come and try some great pastries

After talking about getting to Dan the Baker for WEEKS with my BF we finally made the trip this weekend and DROP. First off, service is so friendly and professional. Next, as someone who works in food service, I can appreciate how clean and smooth service is, even with a line they keep it moving in a pleasant but not rushed manner. The real star of show is phenomenal execution of every single item. These are incredibly high quality and absolutely delicious treats. Some of the pasties I've ever had. Flaky, buttery and on point. Almond croissant is loaded, burrito was stuffed, and the flavor profiles are sophisticatedly delightful. The coffee options are also worth adding, lattes are incredible. I am in a wonderful croissant delirium, will definitely be back!

The food was delicious. Great service. And friendly vibe. I will come back to try the sweets. To be honest i find the prices pretty high. I think there was a premade sandwich for like $27. This croissant is $12.50 i believe. I don't mind paying more for quality food. But it's not something id do on the regular. Over all worth checking out. Great quality food and awesome staff who make you feel like family.

This is a must visit. You have to see the staff, they are engaged and just amazing. This was my first visit. Kind of upset because now I need to try so much more and my diet will not work. I got the Italian and man it was a lot of flavors and a huge sandwich. The bread was perfect. Can't wait to try other sandwiches they offer. The almond pastry croissant was to die for as well. Flaky and creamy and gooooody. Watching the team bake and prep made the trip into the. Building worth it. It felt like something from another place not Columbus Ohio. Ambiance was amazing

Luxardo Cherry Cordial Latte (hot & iced)

I'm 9 months pregnant, saw a TikTok about a cherry cordial latte and immediately needed to experience it. When I arrived it was 8:11 and the line was already out the door (mind you they open at 8am) I couldn't decide if I wanted the latte iced or hot so of'course I had to order both. I preferred the iced, the flavor was bright and very pronounced. I also ordered a raspberry vanilla custard cruffin which was phenomenal!! I shared it with my teenage daughters that are STILL chatting about it. Absolutely divine; you could see the speckles of vanilla bean in the custard and the croissant was soft on the inside and had the flakiest exterior. My 3 items were $36 in total. I'm looking forward to going back and try more things, specially the freshly baked bread.

Delicious and friendly service. However, there's usually a line, and this is a true bakery set up. There is really no seating inside so it's kind of a pick up and go kind of situation. It's very expensive but worth it if you want true European pastries, and sandwiches. The coffee is yummy as well.

I've been wanting to try this place forever! Was so excited to get there early and be able to try several different things. The turkey bacon avocado sandwich was delicious but SO messy. Almost impossible to eat. I love that they're filling it with good stuff, but honestly cut the filling in half, charge less and I'd be just as happy! The CMO sandwich was simple perfection. Price is a little crazy ($10) for one piece of (quality) ham and cheese. But the flavor was perfect. Cornflake cookie was also super good. Had almost a toffee quality but less gummy. Really disappointed in the croissants. First off they seem a little overdone on the outside, and I felt they were not light and fluffy like a true French pastry. Lamination is beautiful of course, but it's not the best texture. Super sad when I cut my ham and Gruyère croissant to find most of it was air. For $12 (I think?) that's insane. Wanted to buy bread but it all is burnt. I don't know how people buy it when the outside is dark brown - that is not correct. It's even that way in the photos on the website so it must be intentional but it definitely leaves a bitter flavor (my friend got a loaf) that ruins it for me. I don't mind the high prices if it's worth it.

I had heard that, with the expanded store space, they had added a bunch of items onto their menu. In addition to pastries, they now have sandwiches, a few prepared salads, and (today) breakfast burritos. I ordered the breakfast burrito with black beans (other option was with sausage). The bad news is that it was literally a burrito just full of potatoes. There was hardly any egg, black bean or avocado to be found. The good news is that it tasted good and the staff here is still super friendly. I think enough has already been said about the prices. Coffee bar menu had lots of choices and some specialty drinks that sounded great.

Good offerings. A large percentage of restaurants utilize their products and incorporate it within their own respective menus. I even went to a coffee shop on Oakland Ave who ships in all their pastries from this place. They get steady business and sell out quickly. I guess because they're so well known and established on the low that they can charge astronomical prices and then pass it off as because of the ingredients they put into their items to justify it or maybe because of "inflation" which is the common excuse EVERYBODY uses nowadays. Overall the only drawback is the price ‍. Two small pastries and a loaf of bread with a tip $51. There are OTHER places around town that make similar products yet nowhere near as expensive. Definitely try DAN THE BAKER out because the quality is definitely there but before you go don't forget to take out a second mortgage on your home

New location just dropped! Dans now has.... Seating. Wow. For long time Dans fans don't worry - take your usual route. They expanded next door! New offerings include espresso and cold brew. All the pastries are top notch Dans quality. The cold brew is, in my Opinion, the wrong bean. It's a little too acidic at the finish. Try a dark roast or a longer brew time guys. In any case you can now get your caffeine fix at Dans! More pastries! More production!

What a find and worth looking for if you're in Columbus! While sitting at a nearby coffee shop the idea to find a bakery struck and I came across Dan the Baker! A quick swipe through the photos and I made a B line to get some fresh baked bread! The smell of fresh bread was in the air as I got out of the car and a warm greeting by Chloe awaited me once inside. The space is small, so don't plan to stay, but do take your time and look around, and be sure to watch the bakers making magic through the window to the kitchen. I really liked the focus here, displaying the daily goods while leaving the supply on speed racks and in baskets for service. Chloe was happy to talk to me about each item and her passion and enthusiasm shined. She also offered me samples of the breads so I'd know what I was buying, a service I wasn't expecting but happily indulged, and lead to my final decision, the 2x Sesame! What a loaf of bread. The exterior has a heavy coating of toasted sesame, which you can smell from a mile away, and the inside is studded with more toasted sesame. The crust is thick, dark, and roasty, matching up with the nuttiness of the sesame, while the crumb is light and airy with the perfect chew and a slight density that I could tell will toast well. Fun fact, Chloe suggested toasting with peanut butter after I chose, so I know I'm on track. Seriously. Chloe was exceptional and made this experience for me and I sincerely appreciate her hospitality and genuine happiness. A wonderful way to start my last day in this beautiful city.

We were gifted tickets for the German Village picnic Giftory experience which gave us two macarons of our choosing and two vanilla shortbread cookies for free. We chose the raspberry chambord and pistachio macarons while also ordering two pistachio cloud matchas. All of the desserts were excellent. The raspberry macaron was very fruit forward while the pistachio was more subdued, but still had a spot on flavor. Even with sugar coating the shortbread cookies, the touch of vanilla made them taste light. I could easily see myself eating far too many of those. The star of the show was the matcha. 10/10! I've never had a pistachio flavored drink, so I was a little hesitant, but wow, I'm glad I ordered it! The matcha base wasn't overly sweet nor was the pistachio foam overly salty. Perfect mix of sweet and savory. Even thought the line was out the door, it moved at a decent pace and our drinks didn't take too long to receive. I'd like to try the strawberry matcha next time, but I'm not sure if I can pass up the pistachio Highly recommend!

**5 stars for the milk bread**…read more FUN FACT -- Tous Les Jous is owned by a South Korean food conglomerate group (same concept as Paris Baguette) and this is a bakery with Asian and European baked goods. I visited Tous Les Jours for the first time on Memorial Day (May 2026) at the Columbus location. I arrived around 2:30pm on a Monday. Surprisingly, they had lots of options available even with my late arrival because most bakeries run out of items quickly. They sell croissants, cakes, milk breads, macarons, drinks, etc. MY ORDER ($18.95 total for 4 items) -- Twist Donut ($2.95), Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50), Almond Croissant ($4.75), and a Whole Milk Loaf bread ($6.75). 1. Twist donut ($2.95) - sweet but not overly sweet. It tasted just like a regular twist donut that you'll find at other donut shops. 2. Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50) - good. Perfect savory option for breakfast or lunch. Soft and buttery bread base. I think $3 would have been a better price but the bread roll was good. I ate this in my car before driving back to Cleveland. It held me over until I got home. 3. Almond Croissant ($4.75) - my favourite item - buttery with some almond cream or paste inside. Topped with almonds. I don't like creamy things at all and I didn't realize that this croissant had a cream inside until I opened it but the cream is very light and it is more of a spread than a cream. 4. Whole Milk Loaf Bread ($6.75) - Fresh and soft. Definitely my other favourite item. This was all gone within a day, that's how good it was. Buttery goodness. The best bread. Overall, I enjoyed visiting Tous Les Jours and I hope to visit their Cleveland location soon. I ordered takeout so I didn't sit in but they have some tables and chairs available. I'll definitely be back if I'm close by the area again. New location, same great service and taste!…read more I have tried donuts in many states and countries and I have yet to find one better than here. Well, if I'm honest there was this Amish stand at a farmers market in Central PA that had outstanding donuts, but they only sold them a few times a year and I have no idea how to find them! This trip, I got the big boy donut, a white icing cake donut, and a pretzel. The big boy donut is a huge glazed donut as big as your head. That's right, you can hold it up to your head and it will be just as large!!! This time, however, they put a twist on them and added icing to a few. I know, sweet on top of a sweet sugary donut seems like overkill, and it was. But come on, anyone willing to eat a donut as big as his head has no problem with something super duper sweet! The other items were equally good, and I liked their new larger location. They even added a few new items since I was last there like donut holes/bites. This place continues to reign as the donut king in my estimation, and the fact that they FINALLY accept credit cards now is a huge win.

Offer the option of traditional no-filling Chocolate and Vanilla frosted Long John donuts. -- market data supports this and shows .... Based on: * Sampling of 100+ independent bakery hours across U.S. cities * Regional bakery association listings * Yelp/Google Business hour patterns * Known bakery business models A realistic, data‑grounded estimate is: Only about 10-15% of neighborhood bakeries open at 8:00 a.m. or later. Further market data shows... Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are extremely uncommon. Why unfilled Long Johns almost always remain on the menu * They serve the "less sweet" customer segment. * They pair well with coffee (important for morning sales). * They are cheaper to produce and have fewer failure points. * They are the "default bar donut" in many regions. Even bakeries that push filled varieties keep unfilled bars because they sell steadily and require no additional labor. --- Bottom-line conclusion Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are very rare -- probably under 5% of all bakeries. The overwhelming majority offer both, with filled varieties outnumbering unfilled but not replacing them.

This entire plaza is an Asian heaven, and I like to bring people from out of town to it because you can literally spend hours in this area. As you can tell for my photos, they are always this busy. The place itself is nice and clean, and the staff is friendly. I'm not a sweet person at all, so I like that this place has unique offerings and some savory ones too. I recommend the mango cake, the sweet butter rolls that literally taste like a slightly sweeten butter inside of a soft pillow bread, and for you to take a loaf of bread home as well. Pro tip: later in the day, the offerings from this bakery are half off at Tensuke Market. This place has been voted as one of the best bakeries in the country & we have it in our own backyard. If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out.
