Never disappoints. GF, dye free, nut free. Friendly staff. Normally a line (it's a small space).

Mini donut!

Amazing! I wish we had a bakery like this in Michigan! This is the best gluten free, nut free bakery ever. There's no weird chemical taste and no artificial dyes!

Everything is delicious! As a celiac it is awesome to go to an all gluten free place with amazing food! The service was quick and love the cute inside!

Can't wait to try some new tasty treats!

I happened upon this gem of a bakery as it is a few miles from where I work on Fridays. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the staff was. They were also baking, which makes sense, as I was in a bakery, but these days those things aren't such a given. Anyways Cherbourg is a gluten free bakery and the lovely young women who helped me said that it is owned and founded by her mother. And they even have another location in Cincinnati. Because I came in after work, the selection was slightly limited but I picked up a few cheesy bites and sugar cookies with frosting. The cheesy bites are light, fluffy, and a nice alternative to a breakfast muffin or bread. And the cookies were nice a crisp with a creamy and full buttercream frosting. I had a chance to check out the menu and would love to come back and try the mini cream puffs or lemon bars. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about it. Definitely recommend this place! Especially for those in need of gluten free!

So.....I definitely had a different experience here than other reviewers it seems. To be fair, my expectations for a gluten free bakery are high because it is basically my idea of heaven. We arrived and there were five staffers working. Not one person greeted us when we entered (it is tiny inside) and finally one woman had to straight up tell the the staff to "please someone help these people." Not a great welcome. We asked if they had quiche and we got a terse "we sold out." OK. I also found it odd there is seemingly no menu available anywhere. You just have to ask what every item in the bakery case is. We came away with some cheese jalapeño bites and two kinds of donuts - coffee and chocolate glazed. The coffee donut was incredible. Like epically delicious. The other baked goods were dry and underwhelming. I think this was a one time visit for me.

My favorite restaurant ever! Not only was there service quick, kind and cool. All there ingredients are gluten, nut and coloring free! They only use olive oil and butter and don't fry their donuts! All of their food is amazing!

Really cute French atmosphere. Love that the baked goods come out in their original pans straight from the oven. The staff is pretty helpful with recommending items based on your preferences. Since they are gluten free and nut free, it's great for catering large parties. I have gotten items for a party of 100 people and they were extremely easy to communicate with start to finish. Love the s'mores bar, strawberry donuts, coffee donuts, lemon bars, strawberry scones, and blueberry muffins. The only negative is that they run out of items quickly. So you really need to be there within 1-2 hours of opening. If you go at noon there are slim pickings.

One of my favorite things to do is stop by Cherbough Bakery and grab a treat or 2! They're also great to share with friends--this morning I grabbed a few lemon bars, apple pie bars and sugar cookies for a friends's birthday. So delicious! Not pictured bc they were out of them but their s'mores bars are also TO DIE FOR! Super sweet staff as well :)

I typically patronize a restaurant a few times before writing a review, but I do not know when I'll ever have the occasion to return to Cherbourg Bakery. Too bad. Rainy Saturday, 3 p.m. I needed a nap antidote. I asked the clerk what pastry she would recommend. "Everything." Fair enough. "People really like our brownies and lemon bars," she added. Simple enough. I sipped a dark roast coffee, expertly slow-brewed by the owner herself, and a moist, dark chocolate brownie while reading at one of the interior cafe tables. On a nicer day I would have chosen a table outside...for hours...with another cup of coffee and perhaps one of those lemon bars.

Navigating the flow of this little bakery is a bit tricky, and while nothing is labeled (it seems more local clientele based), the staff is happy to inform you of everything available. I got a few things, and among my items the favorite was definitely the buttermilk strawberry donut and their chocolate cheesecake cupcake with buttercream frosting. So good you wouldn't believe it's gluten free. Personally I have a wheat intolerance and finding bakeries of rapport are hard to come by, but I have to say I was really pleased with the options available here. I might recommend a better layout for the pastry window and labeling items. This could make the place a little more inviting to those coming in outside the neighborhood, and potentially help with the flow of the bakery traffic. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the baked goods. Only a few I could tell were gluten free.

It's a small place where you grab and go - no seating. But you come in and you're greeted by friendly staff and a wonderful display of options in savory and sweet or blended. I had the chicken biscuit with cheese and bacon and ranch. The chicken is BAKED not fried and was sitting in dill - so it was absolutely DIVINE. I also couldn't help myself to the soft pretzel with cinnamon butter. SO GOOD. It's super doughy so not really the generic pretzel consistency but I was so happy. If you're celiac, you'll love feeling safe here as EVERYTHING IS GF and the kitchen is gf. I regret not buying the flour to bring home :(

It's just one of those things that you miss when you have to stop eating gluten. I preordered for pickup, and walked right by it twice before I noticed the sign. Walked in and was greeted quickly from someone in the back. I loved seeing the options on display and lots of signage, such a cute little space. I got blueberry and cinnamon biscuits, being vegetarian I couldn't have the sandwich options but loved seeing them. Gotta say, loved them both but the cinnamon was definitely my favorite. I think a non gluten-free eater wouldn't even notice a difference. I will definitely get them again, I see I can order them on delivery apps too.

Once the ice cream starts melting, things get even more gooey and delicious! So. Freaking. Good. I went during lunch and had the benefit of trying my wife's cheesesteak which is only one the lunch menu. Now, I loved my burger and the thick cuts of bacon that overflowed from the circumference on the buns. Somehow, that cheesesteak was a notch above that. The cheese sauce was the key ingredient. If you get a sandwich, my vote is for the fries over the kettle chips. But my biggest vote is for going to South Village Grille in the first place because they really impressed during my lunchtime visit.

First time my wife and daughter stopped before our daughter headed overseas for two years in the Peace Corps. Scotty''s is super close and convenient to the airport. Scotty learned of the imminent departure and came with cookies and treats for the long flight! And now this morning it was another airport drop off. It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that. Seriously, I can declare victory for finding something I'd never had before. Never would have found it without the nudge. Had to cut myself off with all the coffee offers. Just a great vibe. You rarely see a 4.9 rating and even more rarely that high based on so many reviews. But I understand why - like in so many things in life, it is about the people. And the joy they bring to every conversation. And I will just add, in this age when some would divide us, this dining room is filled with all manner of folks, reveling together over food in fellowship.

No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth.
