You ladies absolutely crushed it! Now let's talk about the food... because that's why you're really here, right? Everything I tried was packed with flavor, but a few things really stood out. The homemade English muffins -- YES, homemade! And you could tell. They were fantastic. The fresh avocado smash -- basically guacamole, but calling it avocado smash somehow makes it sound even better! Either way, it was fresh, flavorful, and seriously delicious. Those crispy potatoes -- perfectly seasoned with that beautiful crispy exterior. I could have eaten a whole plate of them! And then came the mimosas... OH. MY. GOODNESS. These weren't your average brunch mimosas. They were next level! I started with the blackberry, and I think that one was my favorite. Then I tried the strawberry basil, followed by the Martian, which was pineapple-based. Let's just say... the bartender knew what they were doing! Speaking of the bartenders, they were absolutely fabulous--friendly, welcoming, and keeping everyone's glasses full. Back with another food review. So I've always seen this place in passing but never went in, I now see why I didnt go in. Staff was nice but it took 20 mins to even be acknowledged on being seated. Asked our server for extra syrup and she got frustrated. When we asked what's wrong, she responded, "I have a lot going on.". Then topped it off by giving us the wrong bill, with extra items. I got the huge pancake when I heard they had! It was definitely huge and very delicious! Ended up taking home half it. Hubby had a hamburger with bacon, egg and cheese and ended up using the fork and knife to eat it. It came with seasoned potatoes which were very salty so he asked for some without the seasoning and they were much better. Our server was efficient and polite. Had reservations for a Sunday morning. Waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Big Bang breakfast. The potatoes were seasoned nicely and had a nice crunch. The galaxy-themed decor is such a vibe -- very 70s retro with bright colors, laid-back energy, and a fun but casual feel. This place was awesome! It's a little mid century mod diamond in the rough. The decor is so cool, and the food was delicious! We had an American breakfast with a pancake, Moon omelet, and the space balls. The whole fam especially loved the house potatoes. My pancake was the best I have had at a restaurant in a LONG time! Went here for brunch recently after not having gone in a while. Food was overall good -- I got the Space Cowboy Burrito with a side of potatoes and Galaxy Lemonade. I stopped in this morning, took a seat at the counter and ordered my food. I ended up canceling my order and leaving. I am extremely concerned about a serious food-safety violation I witnessed at this restaurant. An employee was eating while actively preparing food. This is completely unacceptable and raises legitimate concerns about hygiene, cross-contamination, and whether proper food-handling procedures are being followed. Customers should not have to question whether the food they are being served was prepared in a clean and sanitary manner. Management needs to take this matter seriously, investigate what happened, and ensure that all employees follow proper food-safety and hygiene requirements. This type of behavior is unacceptable in any establishment serving food to the public. read more

My second choice today because the first one was closed. And I've avoided this place for a long time, because it got tons of hype early on, and too often places don't live up to that. This place does. Right beside CVS, big parking lot in back. It's not as big inside as I expected, but it's decent size, and has a party room off the entrance, and has plenty of seats at the bar, which is where I sat because I was by myself. I saw a lot of things on the menu I wanted to try, and so I tried two of them. I got the lox on English muffins, and a cup of sausage gravy. They talked me into a biscuit, because they are proud of their biscuits, and they do make the sausage gravy there. It was too much food, but there's always leftovers. The lox was excellent. The salmon was superb, there were micro greens and little sliver of onion on top, yum. And the English muffins are an inspiration, because you can actually cut them to make the whole thing easier to eat, unlike a bagel, which you really have to pick up. Only thing missing was capers, and I really didn't notice them till halfway through, because all of the other flavors were excellent. There's an herbed cream cheese on the English muffins, which holds everything else nicely. Really really good all around. Comes with a side, I had a fruit cup, and all the fruit was perfectly fresh and delicious. Speaking of cutting, the biscuits were pretty tough. Good, and certainly solid enough to support sausage gravy, which is always an issue, but a little too far toward the sturdy side. I would've liked a little more flaky and crumbly. I could not cut them with my fork, had to use a knife. But super tasty, and went well with the gravy, which was dense with sausage chunks and absolutely wonderful. Peppery and creamy and thick. I didn't even need hot sauce, which is thoughtfully provided in a condiments/utensil container right beside everything Service was excellent, several people checked on me, and they were laid-back but always on point. Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality. There's other stuff I wanna try. It's only open till 3, but that works out with when I'm usually down there. Completely obsessed with the aesthetic of this diner! We ordered the Spaceballs to share, and they were pretty large, I couldn't even finish them. I expected them to have some banana chunks inside, but it seemed more like banana bread/pancake ball hybrid. I got a classic breakfast spread and it was pretty good! Their English muffins are made in house and it honestly shows. It may have been one of the best parts of my meal, aside from the breakfast potatoes. They were HUGE but still so soft on the inside. Our waitress was very nice and the service was pretty good. The food took a while to come out, so that's my only complaint. Everything was good, we order our food, one of the dishes was a pancake and fried chicken and when the food arrived I was disappointed, the chicken was a deep fried thigh, I would say no more that 3 or 4 ounces and a huge pancake underneath, and it costs $16 before taxes, not worth it at all, plain flavor and not nice to the eye, my breakfast burrito was really good, better iced tea I've had in a long time and the cocktail was pretty good as well. I've been to this diner several times, and while the food is consistently good, the service has been a recurring issue specifically with the same server. He was my server on a previous visit and had the same poor attitude then, so unfortunately today's experience was not surprising. Hospitality and customer service matter, especially in the restaurant industry, and a tip is not automatically given it's earned through good service and professionalism. Today, we went in and the man working the bar was once again rude and unwelcoming. When you ask for something, there's no "yes," "no problem," or even basic communication -- just a look. My son ordered a side of bacon with his meal, and they only brought one slice. We asked twice for the second slice and still never received it. At no point did he apologize, acknowledge the mistake, or communicate with us professionally. He eventually removed it from the bill, but the issue was never really the bacon it was the attitude and complete lack of hospitality. The food here is honestly good, which is why I've continued to come back. However, experiences like this make the environment feel uncomfortable and uninviting. I would probably visit much more often if the staff were friendlier, more attentive, and actually made customers feel welcome. read more

Especially the gravy as the biscuits although tasty were very dry. The other meal was a specialty omelet that was just so so. Customer service issue--As stated above I ordered during a busy time so I was willing to let it go as long as they made it right. Called the restaurant and asked for a manager. Hostess or whomever asks the issue. I explain it and haven't asked for anything at this point. Am put on hold and she comes back and says they can offer me 20% off my next meal. I again ask if I can speak to the manager because I really feel as though I should at be comped completely for the 2 meals that weren't anywhere near correct and potentially a discount or coupon for a future order considering it's a 20 minute drive each way. Again 2 of the main components of the meal were missing on both. Hostess or whomever puts me on hold again and when they return, says that they have my info and the manager will call me back later. That was 5 days ago. I'll also add that I tipped 20% on a $55 order for this type of service. This place was our second choice in our tour of Columbus suburb brunch trek 2025. We were able to park in the bank parking lot right across the street so it was pretty easy to park to get here. The server took quite a while to bring my wife's Mimosa out I don't know what was going on there and the coffee was actually really rich and dark the way I like it. You have to ask for fresh cream or they'll bring you those little creamers in a cup things. That was a super big bonus for me having fresh cream. It wasn't horribly too long before food came out you really can't screw up eggs bacon hash browns and biscuit and gravy it was pretty awesome. However my wife's pancake I don't know maybe it was too thick or something but it was almost pudding in the middle. It was undercooked pretty badly. Truth be told I thought about having a pudding pancake which might actually be kind of interesting for breakfast. The server forgot our banana donut holes and I really didn't want them but he apologized and put them in again anyway. It came with a dipping sauce that to be quite honest was pretty bland didn't care for it. As we walked in, the smokey greasy smell of the kitchen covered us like a blanket. Guessing the exhaust system needs cleaned so it will not let the oder leak into dinning room. Well as a cold first week of spring '26, they could use a storm front on their entrance. Guessing they could start their furnace up a little earlier in the mornings, too.. I am sure it doesn't bother the kitchen any, but hey, we are just the customers. Adding to the cold day the room was quite cold at 9am. Everybody kept their winter coats on or had heavy sweater/flannel apparel. Note, when you put coffee inside coffee cups that are 64° AND add the offered cream kept at 37° YOUR'coffee does not stay hot for more than a couple minutes. YUK! The food: the pancake was delish, but buyer beware - there is enough for four people if you share it. (One pancake) The spicy hot fried chicken would have been even better if it did not have a slight off taste. Perhaps old oil? Or reheated on the grill?? Not sure... My cake came without butter. My wife's did come with butter. When waiter finally returned, late, to check on things I ask for some butter. It took quite some time and then it was barely more than a teaspoon serving. Now this is for a 1 in x 8" dia cake! Really! In receiving our electronic check, which I prefer, the tip "presets" offering buttons are rediculous. What ever happened to the 15 and 18% preset buttons. There was only a 20, 22, & 25% button. If there would have been a 15% might have used it for my poor service/attention. They're open til 3 pm each day as they serve breakfast and lunch, and the food is delicious. I've tried the Mercury cobb salad which is a nice funky spin on the traditional and served with a creamy avocado ranch. Their chocolate shake tasted just like a Wendy's frosty, room for improvement there. I probably enjoyed the huge sprinkles on top more. Also had their classic breakfast with a pancake on the side which was GIGANTIC and sooo good. If you don't get anything else here, definitely try the pancakes! They are fluffy, plate sized and they make them so there's a little dent in the middle for your syrup to collect. A plump lady's paradise! We came at 10:40, it was slammed busy. 40 minute wait was clearly communicated to us but they told us if we saw a party of 3 open up at the bar we could snatch it. 10 minutes later we're sitting down. The vibes were strong. The food did take a little longer than our hungry crew was hoping but again, line out the door.
