This was our 2nd stay at Shoreline and once again, we absolutely loved it! From the 1st email I…read moresent inquiring about rates to check-out at the end of our vacation.. we were treated like family! Everyone was so accommodating and friendly! While service is a huge component, the location is fantastic! There are so many hotels on the beach, but they aren't nearly as close to the water. We fell asleep at night to the sound of the waves and woke in the morning to watch the dolphins splashing in the gulf. The room was spacious and allowed us to make lunches and snacks without stepping all over each other and the beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. Once again, an amazing experience at Shoreline Island Resort. We will be bac

Absolutely Filthy room - there was a help wanted sign outside, for a cleaning person...and I am…read moresure that the current cleaners do NOT know how. After staying here, I just cannot understand how this Hotel got good ratings. You can see the pics below to see what we stayed in. Upon arrival, there was bacon on the counter, the stove was NEVER cleaned. The toilet had brown crude inside and brown drips out. The fire sprinkler, overhead, was filled with gunk and dust...hopefully it would work if need be. The door to get out onto the balcony constantly stuck and I had to muscle the heck out of it to get it to open. The toaster was filthy & there were dead bugs on the ceiling. I tried to book elsewhere, but everything was full. I tried to relax, but could not because I knew what was around me. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable...and I stayed out of the room all of the time. The Coffee Pot popped the room breaker twice...and when the 2nd maintenance man came in (the 1st one didn't even know where the circuit breaker was), it actually sparked. He replaced the coffee pot with one that was covered in dust and dirt...I didn't use it. Did anyone EVER teach these people how to clean. The pics prove to me that they do not care about the rooms. There were many more things than presented here, dust on everthing, carpets not vacuumed - - but I just cannot waste anymore time on this. Each time I went to the front des, I was not even greeted, and the people behind the desk did not really seem to care...and why should I have to complain. This room should have been clean for me. Isn't that what I am paying for???

My stay at the hotel was positive. I also want to thank Cliff and Michele, bartenders at Waters Prime. They were great attentive and friendly. The food was very good at the hotel, thanks to Cliff and Michele's recommendation. I had breakfast and dinner there throughout my stay. My only concern I had with the hotel was the furniture in the breakfast/lunch/dinner area. The chairs need to be steamed cleaned. They had quite a few stains and need some TLC. The rugs need to be vacuum daily as people (children too) drop crumbs or drinks onto the rugs and chairs. The rooftop upholstery lounge beds definitely need to be cleaned thoroughly. They do not look like they are being steamed cleaned or changed frequently. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location, great views and relaxing atmosphere.

We arrived for a week long stay at this Cambria hotel. We were disappointed at the quality and…read moreamenities of the room. The shower needs the grout repaired, no shower rack to hold shower items, there are NO towel hooks near the entrance to the shower,(they are located at the opposite end?), not enough drawer space to store clothes for 2 people for a week, no luggage rack for 2 pieces of luggage, and stain on pull out sofa. The storage issue appears to be at other Cambria's as well since we've encountered this before with this hotel group but the cleanliness/upkeep has never been an issue! The sliding door in the wardrobe prevents you from stocking the fridge and hanging up your clothes. We did enjoy the location to the beach but we're not aware of many closed businesses along that route. Would be nice to return once all business has returned to normal. The pool area is nice and spacious. Suggestions for Cambria: Install a towel holder near the shower door. Install shower hooks to hang wet bathing suits. Remove the sliding door that prevents you from getting items out of the drawer or fridge and hanging up an item in the wardrobe. And please inform guests that there are beach items left behind from prior guests that they could possibly benefit from near the snack area on the 3rd floor. There are beach chairs, umbrellas (we left our brand new umbrella since we couldn't travel home with it) and many items for kids to use such are noodles and such.

A beautiful location and lovely hotel!…read more After being in West Palm and Fort Myers earlier in the week, my fiancé decided to book us one final night right on the beach before heading back to the Midwestern tundra. When I say this hotel is right on the beach, I am not exaggerating. It is RIGHT on the beach, with a private access through the pool and patio area. It was quiet, clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed walking right out onto the beach, and the beach was not busy at all! We were able to find a sand dollar and some shells. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk team was very friendly, and the lady who checked us in offered us a top floor with a great view. I would 1000% stay here again!

We had a warm welcome from Kayla at the front desk and a very efficient and informative check-in. Really nice smile and genuine hospitality. If you are in a studio, one bedroom, or two bedroom, you have one car pass for the group. If you have a three bedroom, then you can receive two car passes. Due to its small footprint, parking is limited but sufficient. And the room was absolutely spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and everything was in working order. Very comfortable and a cool respite from the unrelentless sun. When leaving the unit, it is recommended to always draw the blackouts to help conserve the energy and the AC's function. You'll be glad you did. We did not get a chance to utilize the pool, but it looked like it was being put to good use with lots of happy people. It was easy to walk out to the beach so we utilized the beach every day of our stay. The hotel is easily walkable to John's pass Village and all the restaurants and shops there. The breakfast served each morning was fresh and tasty and always well-attended by the hotel guests. I would recommend getting there earlier versus later to avoid the crowds (7-10 AM). In addition to Kayla, Gavin was quite friendly and helpful at the front desk. All around, the the associates we encountered in any of the areas of the resort were engaged and interactive with the customers. Quite a guest-centric team. Remember to take your room key with you anytime departing your unit as it is required to enter both the beachside building as well as the front desk/lobby building. A 10 out of 10 stay!!!
