Room was freshly remodeled, and was very clean. Service was good. Our only problem was that the mattress was too soft. The manager said that it was a new mattress of "medium" firmness. My wife chose to sleep on the bare floor instead. After the first night, we bought a foam pad at Walmart and she slept on that, on the floor. read more

We just spent 9 days with two rooms at this motel. The price is great, location is perfect for us. we love to go to Honeymoon Island and downtown Dunedin. The small kitchen is perfect for eating meals. we did not cook but you definitely could have. There was plenty of room for 5 of us in one room. The owners and staff were extremely nice. Added bonus that they have beach chair, sand toys, umbrella, beach towels, coolers and bikes to ride. The pool area has plenty of chairs and is very clean. We rode around trying to find a hotel and my boyfriend said with hesitation, look at that place, it looks so nostalgic and straight out of the 50's. Well....This place was built in 1957! As we approached the office the owner came over and greeted us with a smile with a genuine approach , you instantly felt like you were "home". He was very friendly and helpful. What are cute old 50's motels over in Dunedin flash Safety Harbor area. We were going to an event that area and just wanted a place to sleep so we didn't drive back to Tampa too late. LOL Lady checking this and couldn't have been nicer and leave or not the weekend we were there this little hotels sold out. it reminded me of the type of places we stayed in traveling when I was a child and the whole family stayed in one big room. There were two nice comfortable beds and a full kitchen and of course the bathroom. They had a nice pool out front that was available for use and also offered simpleton towels and stuff for the residents to use. I thought this was a really nice touch for an independent Motel. It was kind of comical that the it was so old and a light shade of pink like they had in the fifties look brand-new because I don't think it was you so much. I think it would be a great place to go and stay for a week since you have a full size refrigerator and everything you need for cooking including the stove and the oven. If you're traveling with children these days things get pretty expensive and what better way to go close to the beach then Fayette and old Florida motels. The room was very clean and had ceiling fans and both the living room and the bedroom. The bathroom was appointed nicely even though the colors of green and pink tile dated, but who cares what color the title really is. It was a pleasant experience and a unique experience and I definitely reminded me of my childhood. What I say again, you bet in a heartbeat. when you're looking for a place to stay you don't have to always go with the Marriotts in hi it's sometimes it's nice to get a little bit more basic and down-to-earth. My friend and I had a really great stay at the Palm Court. We decided to do a quick girls trip before starting a new job and we stumbled upon this place. We were able to take bikes out and ride to Honeymoon Island and Clearwater Beach, which we're both easily accessible by bike trail, not to mention it saved us a lot of money not having to rent a car. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean, and they not only let you borrow the bikes but coolers, beach chairs and more. The motel is also located right next to the trolley stop which goes to downtown Dunedin, Clearwater, and Clearwater beach for just $5 a day (unlimited daily rides). I would highly recommend anyone visiting this part of Florida to stay at the Palm Court motel. read more

I spent 10 days at the Palm Court Motel recently. I like the term "vintage" to describe the Palm Court. Opened in the 1950's. Run by a nice couple who seems totally committed to the business. This is their 7th year. Reasonably priced. Very clean. One block from the wonderful Pinellas bike trail that runs up and down the peninsula. Also very close to the nicest beaches in the entire country. Caladesi Island Park. I had one of the "apartment"units. You could prepare all you meals there. I didn't. If you are looking for a clean "budget" motel in a great location this is the one. If you book with them directly it's cheaper than going thru Expedia or other booking sights. read more

Was looking for a place to stay that was near the Pinellas trail, yet wanted to be near Dunedin or Palm Harbor. So I just drove north on Alt 19, and looked for something that looked we'll maintained. Spotted Palm Court and decided to give it a go. The owner seemed friendly enough, and the price was reasonable. Good amenities, even though I did not utilize all of them, TV with Fios, small pool, Wi-fi. They also had beach towels that you could borrow, sunscreen, pool toys, etc. Parking was troublesome, if you have a larger car or van you might not be able to park directly in front of your room. If you want to ride your bike or jog, the Pinellas trail it is directly across the street, which is great. Be forewarned that they do not allow you to store your bicycle in your room, even though there is plenty of room in the walk-iin closet.They have a secure, covered bike rack near the office, which is fine if you have a cheaper bike. But if you have a quality bike costing thousands of dollars that choice is not appropriate. The efficiency has a good amount if space if you intend to cook and eat in. Also know that they do not do daily housekeeping on your room, unless you ask them in advance. They will do towel service, but was not informed about this in advance. All in all, it's a clean little place that has some nice touches. I did not feel that the noise level was bothersome, even though it was close to the highway. I would probably stay again. read more

This place was magical. Economical, comfortable, and clean with fun perks. There were about ten free bikes you could check out of all sizes (except maybe kids). The pool was nice, basic, with crystal clear water and nice cheesy florida decor. We had breakfast at the Covered Bridge next door and it was nice cheap good comfort food (they've been there over 30 years!) We had a great time. read more

When I saw the word "motel" I was very leery about booking this place, but it had great reviews and I'm into "vintage", so, what the hell, I booked it for our trip to meet our granddaughter and spend time with the kids. I don't think we could have picked a more comfortable, clean, sweet place to stay. It has been absolutely perfect! Our room, which is an efficiency, is roomy enough to accommodate all of us for visiting. The kitchenette has been perfect for cooking meals, and the pool, OMG!, has been awesome, complete with beach towels, pool toys, etc. They even have a grill where we cooked last night. Bikes are complimentary for guests (there is a bike path across the street), as are beach chairs, coolers, games, books, etc. They gladly welcomed our kids to spend the day at the pool . This is the perfect example of old florida!!our room was adorable, beach motif. Pink retro oven ( in perfect working order) with microwave, fridge and coffee maker plus kitchen equipment - pots, pans Ext. Outside Pool and shuffle board and the room was Extremely clean Close to an awesome Mexican restaurant and a few others all great!! A convenience store called Munchies for snacks within walking distance and Publix about a mile away. Right off the bike trail about a 15 min bicycle ride to the beach You can rent the bikes from the motel - very inexpensive and borrow beach towels chairs from the main office. We checked in for a two night stay. Had a paddle board a bikes in back of truck. The man you checked us in said we could put our paddle board behind his bikes. Said no outdoor equipment in rooms. We decided not to put it there as it was unsecure so we took it to our daughter's and left it there. We we sound asleep and around midnight we heard a knock on the door 3 times in fact each time getting louder. The 3 time he was banging with his fist and shining a light in the window. When we answered the door the man who checked us in said where is the paddle board. We told him at our daughter's. He left with no apology for waking us. Took at least 3 hrs to fall back to sleep. He was very rude and inconsiderate. We left the next morning and demanded a refund. I guarantee you we will never step foot in that place again and will tell everyone we know not too. read more

He went out of his way to point out things that I should do the next day and made sure I understood that if I needed anything, I should drop by. Having mixed feelings writing this review. Anthony and his wife do an amazing job of making this that little gem that we will Definitely go back to. I wish I had stayed sommewhere else. We had two double beds, one sagged so low it was like laying on the floor and the other bed when laid on had you rolling toward the wall it was so uneven and off sides. when you got up from this bed you had to crawl up hill to get out. I ended up going to my familys house on the holiday and taking a nap just to get any sleep. Will be staying elsewhere next time. The manager was nice though. read more

Spotless pool and deck, great pool furniture, owner even has a nice charcoal grill with two large tubs of BBQ supplies and tools! Right by Honeymoon Island, shopping, restaurants, owners thought of everything! Even have bicycles to ride to park or on 37 mile trail motel sits across from. Everything was in perfect working order. It's like an efficiency apartment,they have all you need, I could live here! They even have beach supplies you can borrow for the time you are here .
