I feel like they be rude. They unfairly I give tips when I'm able to give tips and it seemed like now that they be just messing up my nails when Christmas time came they gave like gifs to customers and all that I didn't get none of the treatment when I go there to get my feet done I literally don't get asked. Do I want anything? Anything they just be rude and all the above just out of nowhere because two times wasn't able to give a tip when I kept going back the service kept getting ridiculous and ridiculous. I thought it was just in my head, but no the owner which is chair number and I don't know the other one I say her name might Kim and the two ladies that do feet that's in there is horrible. I had my headset on but my phone on and they were just talking so bad about I don't do her why she have to be here all that type of stuff she don't leave I'm not doing her nails and don't expect the tip and all that like really the technology that people have and you guys think y'all could just get away with talking about loyal customers paying customers, but the Husband He just did my nails and I absolutely love them, but I was liberty. Just got my real nails done a cut and the lady in front of me that was paying she just got her nails done and her feet done for less than a price that I had get my nails cut down acrylic on it with clear polish that is ridiculous. My nail tech Kim was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed a VIP pedicure with warm neck pillow and hot stone massage. It was heavenly! The products smelled so good too, especially the fresh fruit. It's been over 2 years since my toe beans got the TLC they deserve. Precovid I was getting regular pedicures, I might spend 90% of time time barefoot, in nature. So its important to take care of the feeties. With summer ending, I needed a little self care, from someone else lol After browsing Yelp and calling a few places, my roommate and I ended up at Cheri Nail Bar. When we called for our apt, the lady who picked up sounded the happiest and they seemed to be the cleanest that was open. Walking in, we were very pleased. We were sat right away, everything was wrapped in plastic, sterilize, masks and a fun travel show playing on the tv. The chairs are so big, cozy and the have massagers! I could have taken a nap. The prices are a bit higher than what I am used too, $45 for a basic pedi with gel paint, but I had a killer leg and foot massage that definitely put me to bed. I would have loved to give 5 stars however, the person doing my toes was in such a rush. There was no one else in there and there were plenty of others that could have assisted if someone were to walk in. I had to ask twice if he could go back and smooth out the edges of my nails. Sensing he was a bit flustered, I decided to keep my mouth shut. Never piss off anyone holding a sharp object. I new that I could fix the edges at home anyways. What I didn't expect was the lumpy polish on toes. Now I know I dont have the best looking feet but they deserve a little bit more love when being painted than what I recieved. I will probably go back because of how clean the space was. I will request someone else and will skip the gel polish and I dont find it worth the upcharge. read more

So the shape of the nails were nice, the line work was sloppy and if they would have taken their time they would've been able to execute my vision more properly. None of them wanted to converse at all. Customer service I would say was below average. I kept trying to talk to my nail tech and she just didn't want to talk at all. I had to ask her multiple times to fix things. Overall the experience was very average just like any other average salon in Asheville. My total was 100$ and I tipped 20$ despite the average service, she complained about me not tipping in cash. Will not be returning!! read more

I normally pay $40 for an excellent gel manicure but ended up paying $60 plus a $10 tip for what ended up being SUBPAR at best. I didn't realize how awful it was until I left the shop. Well the first nail tech was trying to warm and she had it on full hot and didn't tell me so when I stuck my toes under it, I got burnt. I asked for the manager like 7 times til someone else walked through and I requested the manager. He said he was a manager and I explained what happened well he sat down and was looking at my toes and told me they were fine. For what had happened he told me he would give me a 10% gift card to use next time because the services has already paid for Finally someone else came over that I could understand better so I explained it all over again. This place is AMZING!! My gel nails last at least 2 and a half weeks! The people who work here are funny and nice, my aunts phone started off playing and song while her nails were wet or in the UV light cure. Tammy (owner) was rude upon greeting and made my toe nails bleed bad this morning. She must've had a bad morning. There was no one but one other customer. I complemented her on her nail color she said 'why, you want it?' I said no thanks- it just looks pretty on you. I said, I think I might go clear today. After she got her utensils ready and before she sat down I said, do you think we can go with a pink? She said, "I thought you wanted clear", in an angry tone. She hadn't even started the work. Then she commented to her other tech in another language. She was also on the phone the entire time. I didn't get a color bc I was in so much pain. If you have just two customers why would you offer angry customer service? This lady needs a business lesson. read more

Second nail chipped on the 10th day. These are supposed to last at least 14 days. Other places have lasted me over 3 weeks with no chips and scratches. First time customer here. I went on a Sunday bc they were open. Nice salon. I had the basic pedicure $30.00 I timed it and it took 12min and the guy was done. While the service was friendly and they respected that I wanted to wear headphones while having my gel nails done, I won't be coming back- it says $30+ on the menu for gel nails and I was charged $35 for the very basic change of polish and application. I just moved here and found this expensive compared to the $25-27 I'm used to paying at salons in FL. After one day, I got a chipped nail and I'm not even rough on them! UPDATE: I came back to update my review because I am still so happy with my french mani, 8 full days later! I type on a keyboard all day at work and I have not experienced a single chip in my polish: it looks as beautiful as the day I got it. Came in for a quick French gel manicure. I chose this nail salon because when I decided I wanted a manicure, it was 6:30 and most salons close at 7. I didn't want to be that asshole who shows up for a service right before closing. When I say that Cheri Nail Bar closed at 7:30, I figured this would be a good place to go. I saw Leon for my appointment. He did an amazing job on my French manicure. He had me keep checking them throughout the manicure to make sure I liked the length of the white tips. I recently had a hand tattoo lasered off and it is still healing. He was very respectful of this and did his manicure around my bandage. Near the end of my manicure, when I thought he was done, he said "not done yet!" and he buffed out the little ridges on the tops of my nail so that when I touch fabric and skin, it doesn't catch uncomfortably. I thought this was a really smart touch. I'll definitely be back. My manicure was $35 which I thought was extremely reasonable. read more
